"It's truly magnificent!"

Tom, mingling among the Muggles, gazed at the Great Pyramid of Giza before him.

The forty-story-high structure exuded a profound sense of history, truly worthy of being one of the "Seven Wonders of the World."

Tom took out his camera and walked forward, tapping a boy on the shoulder in front of him.

The boy readily agreed, turning around to take the camera, but froze in place the next second.

"Tom Riddle?"

The boy asked tentatively.

"Cedric Diggory, Head Boy?"

Tom was also stunned when he saw the boy's face; he really hadn't expected to see a familiar face in distant Egypt.

Hearing Tom say this, Cedric knew he hadn't mistaken him, and a bright smile appeared on his face.

"Riddle, what are you doing here?"

Tom returned Cedric's smile with a smile of his own.

"Traveling, I've always wanted to see the pyramids. By the way, Head Boy, 'Riddle' is too formal, you can just call me Tom."

"Alright, Tom, you can just call me Cedric too." Cedric readily agreed, then looked around Tom with a hint of doubt, "Traveling? Alone?"

"Yes, Cedric, I'm alone, after all, the fact that I'm an orphan isn't exactly a secret at Hogwarts."

Tom's frank answer elicited a trace of sympathy from Cedric.

Although Tom didn't think there was anything wrong with being an orphan, he really disliked the sympathetic looks people gave him every time it was mentioned, and immediately frowned slightly.

Cedric observed Tom's expression, and thinking of the rumors about this younger student, he knew that his sympathy was offensive to Tom.

"Sorry, Tom."

Tom never expected to hear an apology, truly worthy of being Cedric, and immediately waved his hand.

"It's okay, it's okay, you don't need to apologize, I really don't mind. By the way, Cedric, are you here with your parents?"

"Yes, I came with my parents." Speaking of his family, Cedric's face was filled with happiness.

Tom then revealed a mischievous smile: "What about Cho Chang, did she come with you?"

Cedric blushed all of a sudden, stammering, "She... she didn't come, she and I aren't that kind of relationship you think."

Tom gave him a look of disdain: "Then when school starts, should I truthfully relay what you just said to Cho Chang?"

Cedric immediately groveled upon hearing this: "Please don't, I'm sorry, I was wrong."

At this moment, a middle-aged man hurried towards them.

"Ced, why are you still here? Your mother and I have been waiting for you for a long time."

Coming closer and seeing Tom chatting happily with Cedric, he revealed a hint of doubt: "Ced, who is this?"

Cedric quickly introduced Tom to him: "Dad, this is Tom Riddle, a Hogwarts student, my junior."

"Tom, this is my father, Amos Diggory."

Tom stepped forward and shook Mr. Diggory's hand: "Hello, Mr. Diggory, it's a pleasure to meet you. Cedric is the best student at Hogwarts, I've always been curious about what kind of outstanding parents could raise him, and seeing you today, it's truly extraordinary."

Tom's praise, especially regarding Cedric, made Mr. Diggory beam, and he quickly responded modestly: "Not at all, not at all. It's a pleasure to meet you, Tom, I believe you will also grow into an excellent wizard in the future. By the way, what were you talking about just now?"

This made Cedric blush with embarrassment, and he quickly tugged at Mr. Diggory's clothes, signaling him to stop talking.

Tom, however, seemed not to notice his small actions, and continued down the line of Mr. Diggory's words.

"Talking about your future daughter-in-law..."

Before Tom could finish speaking, Cedric covered his mouth, unable to speak, and received an apologetic smile in the process.

"It's nothing, Dad."

Then Cedric whispered a few words in Mr. Diggory's ear.

After a moment, Mr. Diggory winked at Tom and invited, "Tom, since you're alone, would you like to spend this pleasant vacation with us?"

Tom had no objections to this and directly followed Cedric and Mr. Diggory.

After meeting up with Mrs. Diggory, Mr. Diggory took them to the back of the pyramid, where a man wrapped tightly was sitting boredly counting the sand.

Seeing Tom and his party arrive, he lazily opened his mouth: "Where are you from?"

"England."

"Tickets, a friendly price of 10 Galleons per person."

After receiving the four tickets, the man took out his wand and tapped it lightly, and a small door appeared out of thin air on the wall.

After leading Tom through the door, Mr. Diggory explained to him, "The door over there is for Muggles, and the inside of the pyramid they see is just a fictional construct. This is the real inside of the pyramid that only wizards can enter."

Mr. Diggory had obviously been here before, and took the initiative to act as a guide, leading Tom on a tour.

"This is the sacrificial area. The sacrifices four thousand years ago were too bloody. This place originally accumulated a large number of vengeful souls, which were only cleaned up from the late 18th century to the early 19th century."

"The murals on this corridor originally had magic, recording the history of that era, but as time passed, the magic dissipated, and the murals are no longer recognizable."

… … …

Under Mr. Diggory's explanation, Tom, who was visiting the ancient site from a wizard's perspective for the first time, was still enjoying it at first, but soon felt a little bored.

"Speaking of which, isn't there anything more special here? I feel like these aren't worth the 10 Galleon ticket price?"

While admiring a mural, Tom casually asked a question, which elicited a mysterious answer from Mr. Diggory.

"Special? Of course, there is, I guarantee you'll feel the 10 Galleon ticket price is more than worth it."

Tom's expression changed slightly. It was originally a casual question, but he didn't expect to receive a response from Mr. Diggory, so he cautiously opened his mouth: "Can you take me to see it?"

"Of course, no problem, now is the perfect time to enter." Mr. Diggory agreed very readily.

… … …

"So, the special thing Mr. Diggory was talking about is this kind of special, although it's a bit different from what I wanted, but it's really good to look at."

Tom sat under the stage, clapping and admiring the mesmerizing belly dance performed by a woman as beautiful as Cleopatra, making Tom feel that being able to experience this inside the pyramid was indeed worth the money.

"Isn't it very beautiful, Tom?"

"Yes, it's really beautiful."

Huh, this voice doesn't sound like Cedric and the Diggory couple.

Tom looked to the other side and didn't expect it to be an old acquaintance, Bill Weasley, the eldest son of the Weasley family.
