Hogwarts: I will not become the Dark Lord
#99 - Snape, you are so...
Whether Lockhart learned his lesson after the Cornish Pixies wreaked havoc in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom during the first lesson is unclear to Jerry, but now he not only refrains from bringing live creatures into the classroom, but he doesn't even take out his wand during class.
He began reading stories he had written to the students, occasionally even performing dramatic scenes with great passion.
Sometimes he felt it wasn't interesting to perform alone; a solo act was never as good as a group performance, so he would find a supporting actor to cooperate with him.
The most famous in the classroom were Jerry and Harry, probably because the pixie incident made Lockhart feel awe for Jerry, and then Harry was unlucky enough to be treated as a soft persimmon!
So far, the roles Harry has been forced to play include: a simple villager cursed by a dark wizard; a Himalayan snowman cured by Lockhart after falling ill; and the most outrageous, a vampire who, after Lockhart dealt with him, abandoned meat and only ate radishes.
Even Jerry found the Defense Against the Dark Arts class entertaining! No wonder he's in the wizarding entertainment industry!
Of course, the most excited was Malfoy; if conditions allowed, he would probably transform into Harry's number one fan!
...
As night fell, the halls of Hogwarts Castle were brightly lit.
Students gathered from all the different houses to share dinner after a day of classes, the air filled with the tempting aroma of food, accompanied by laughter and the pleasant clinking of silverware.
"Hmm?"
Jerry, who was drinking pumpkin juice, frowned slightly. He had just sensed an unusual magical fluctuation, somewhat similar to that of the house-elves in the castle.
He looked up at the staff table. Dumbledore, who was talking to the professor next to him, should have sensed it too, but seeing that he didn't react, Jerry didn't bother to care. Anyway, I'm not the headmaster of Hogwarts.
"What's wrong, Jerry! Is something happening?"
Hermione asked, seeing Jerry suddenly looking at Dumbledore.
"It's nothing!" Jerry shook his head, "Hermione, Hogwarts isn't safe right now. Remember, don't take off the necklace I gave you!"
"Don't worry, look!" Hermione gently pulled the neckline of her top to the side, revealing the silvery-white necklace cord underneath.
"Professor Snape, what can I do for you?" Jerry asked with a stiff face, feeling a little uneasy in his heart.
Jerry carefully recalled his campus life during this period of time. It seemed that he hadn't made any mistakes, let alone hurt anyone. Why did Snape suddenly look for me?
Could it be that he found out that I secretly instigated Lockhart to sell him shampoo!
However, Snape didn't answer Jerry. His aloof image remained as always. He just glanced at him faintly and turned to leave.
That old bat! Jerry cursed inwardly, said goodbye to everyone, and followed Snape's footsteps.
Potions Office.
"Go and pack the potion in the cauldron, and then go to the Potions classroom and clean it! Remember, no magic allowed!"
Snape entered the office and said directly without even looking at Jerry.
"Professor, why? I don't seem to have broken any school rules, have I?"
Jerry scratched his head, really not understanding his thought process. Could it be that he's reached that age and is going through menopause?
Snape raised his head and stared at Jerry with icy eyes, with a hint of mockery: "Only you yourself know whether you have made a mistake or not. That damn ghost messed up the Potions classroom, so a student needs to clean the classroom. I think I, as your head of house, have the right to ask you to clean the classroom, even if Dumbledore asks!"
"The potion in the cauldron is your reward!"
Jerry: "..."
Was Hermione seeing a fake Snape!
Huff~ Jerry took a deep breath, trying to calm his emotions.
Forget it, just treat him as pitiful and don't argue with "no wife"!
"Invigoration Potion!?"
Jerry looked at the potion in the cauldron and said in surprise.
"Are you a troll brain? You wasted your time in Potions class, don't you even recognize an Invigoration Potion! Hurry up and seize the time, I need to use the classroom tomorrow!"
Jerry didn't have the mind to think too much for the time being. He quickly packed the potion amidst Snape's constant ridicule and scolding and ran out of the office.
After coming out, he shook his dizzy head at the office door, trying to clear his head a little.
Is there something wrong with my body! Why are you all giving me Invigoration Potions! Forget it, I'll give it to Hermione! Jerry thought to himself, looking at the potion in his hand.
...
Walking down the stairs to the left of the Slytherin common room, Jerry arrived at the Potions classroom. As soon as he stepped in, a pungent smell hit him, almost suffocating him.
He quickly covered his nose and took a few steps back, then was pushed out the door by the smell.
No wonder that old bat asked me to clean it; this is simply blatant revenge!
"Scourgify (Scouring Charm)"
Faced with the unpleasant smell, Jerry didn't care whether the old bat allowed him to use magic or not. If there's anything, let him go to Dumbledore!
With the light waving of the wand, the garbage and broken glass in the corner seemed to be drawn by an invisible force, gradually disappearing into the air. The accumulated waste paper and the dust on the table were instantly washed away by an invisible stream, leaving no trace.
"This is..."
On the classroom podium, there was an old textbook, its position conspicuous, making it visible at a glance. It was clearly placed here deliberately.
Jerry picked up the old textbook and flipped through it, then had a strange look on his face, because the name "Half-Blood Prince" was written on the book!
Flipping through the book again, after finding Sectumsempra, Levicorpus, and Muffliato, he was certain that this was Snape's Potions textbook.
Jerry was really speechless to his dear head of house. No wonder he felt Snape was so strange tonight!
But why did he give this to me? If he was going to give it to someone, shouldn't he give it to Harry instead? Does he think I'm not strong enough, or does he think I'm in danger?
