Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard
Chapter 927: Frontal battle, Voldemort's screams
Harry, Ron, and Hermione never knew they could run so fast. Harry even thought he could catch the Golden Snitch with his two legs.
Under the influence of fear, they almost exerted all their potential. In the shortest time, they rolled and crawled around several corners, and the exit was right in front of them.
But at this moment, Harry suddenly thought of another problem.
Voldemort was chasing them at the moment. If they ran out now, wouldn’t it be equivalent to them leading Voldemort to Hogwarts?
Damn it!
After thinking of this, Harry’s face turned pale, but he couldn’t stop. In just a blink of an eye, the three of them came to the bottom of the entrance.
A burst of hot wind blew in from outside, bringing Harry back to his senses.
"Listen to me..." He stopped Ron and said anxiously: "We can't go out, otherwise we will bring Voldemort to Hogwarts!"
In an instant, Ron's face turned pale.
Leading the way for Voldemort?
This alone is enough for Mrs. Weasley to beat him to death ten times.
"Now is not the time to think about that!" Hermione was a little calmer than them. She grabbed Ron and pushed him up, saying quickly:
"The moment we were discovered by Voldemort, this secret passage leading to Hogwarts was exposed... and even if there was no secret passage, Voldemort would not have gone to Hogwarts, right?"
"Hurry up, he's coming!"
At Hermione's urging, Ron gritted his teeth and climbed out of the cave, followed by Hermione.
Seeing someone breaking into his territory, a thick willow branch lashed over. Harry, who had just climbed out of the cave, was unable to dodge and was directly whipped away by the willow branch.
Fortunately, as a seeker, he reacted quickly enough and hugged the branch, so that he was not thrown out.
"Harry!"
Ron shouted anxiously, and was about to press the knot beside him, which was the key to controlling the Whomping Willow. Just poke it and it will stop.
However, his hand was stopped as soon as he stretched it out.
"Hermione, you..."
"Wait, Harry is not in danger now, wait a little longer!" Hermione breathed heavily, staring at the direction of the cave entrance with full concentration.
Ron did not ask any more questions, but took the initiative to step forward and tried to save Harry from the branch.
But the willow branch was too strong, and the two tried several times but failed. In the end, Harry saw the right time and took the initiative to let go of his hand when the willow branch was close to the ground.
Harry, who flew out, just hit Ron, and the two rolled to the open space next to him.
"Hermione!" Harry climbed up and shouted loudly: "Come here quickly, he's coming out soon!"
Ron also shouted from the side: "Hurry up, Hermione, what are you still doing there!"
But in the face of the two people's urging, Hermione seemed not to hear it, without any response, and even did not turn her head.
She bit her lips tightly and stared at the passage without blinking.
"Dongdong..."
There seemed to be footsteps in the passage, and they were getting closer and closer.
Hermione held her breath, and the whole person was extremely nervous, like a taut bowstring.
The footsteps were getting closer.
At this time, she could even see the two slender scarlet pupils in the dark passage.
Hermione stretched out her wand suddenly.
"Thunder Explosion!"
It seemed a little late. When Hermione chanted the spell, Voldemort had already stepped out of the passage. At this time, the blasting spell had no effect at all on sneak attacks.
The blasting spell fell on the trunk, blowing out a big hole.
This move also completely angered the Whomping Willow.
Almost all the branches moved, including the thicker main branches, like dozens or hundreds of mad beasts, trying to smash the wizard who hurt it into pieces.
Hermione, who was well prepared, followed Harry's example just now and hugged one of the branches to avoid the first wave of attacks.
But Voldemort and Snape were not so lucky.
They had just come out of the secret passage and had not had time to catch their breath before they saw the flying willow branches and trunks smashing towards them crazily.
Snape was knocked away on the spot.
A branch as thick as a bucket hit him hard. Snape felt as if he was punched by a giant. He flew backwards uncontrollably and fell to the ground.
With a tooth-grinding snapping sound, Snape's legs twisted to the sides in a weird posture, obviously broken.
The piercing pain made Snape pale.
He couldn't figure out why he was suddenly knocked away while walking.
"Success?"
Seeing Snape's miserable state, Hermione's eyes flashed with surprise.
Everything was as she expected. Even a professor would be injured when facing the sudden attack of the Whomping Willow.
Snape was already injured, and Voldemort should not be much better...
Hermione looked at the entrance of the secret passage with excitement, and then her mood suddenly dropped to the bottom.
Voldemort was still standing there, nothing happened. Those waving branches seemed to not see him and all hit other places.
Voldemort strolled to the open space in front, looked at Hermione with an admiring look, and moved the Elder Wand in his hand slightly, and Hermione floated in front of him uncontrollably.
"What a good plan, unexpected and courageous."
He looked Hermione up and down and said coldly: "It's a pity that you are a mudblood. As a reward, I will kill you with my own hands... You should feel honored to die in the hands of the great Dark Lord!"
When they got closer, Hermione found that there seemed to be a trace of magic around Voldemort. It was this magic that prevented the Whomping Willow from discovering him.
As for what this magic was, Hermione didn't know.
She saw Voldemort raise his wand and tried hard to break free, but it was useless. She was now like being fixed by a petrification spell, and she couldn't even move a finger.
But just when she was ready to die, Voldemort stopped.
His eyes struggled, and he seemed to think of another witch who was also a mudblood.
...Lily Evans.
As a wizard who pursued pure blood to the extreme, Voldemort looked down on mudbloods the most. He even felt that those dirty wizard bloods were not worthy of dying under his magic.
But more than a decade ago, he was defeated by the Mudblood he despised the most. Lily Evans used an unknown protective magic to rebound the Killing Curse, causing him to wander in the corner of the gutter for more than a decade like the most humble wandering soul.
Now he met another Mudblood witch, who also caused trouble for others and was related to Harry Potter.
Is it a coincidence?
Voldemort actually knew that it was impossible for all Mudblood witches to be like Lily Evans. She was an exception.
But he subconsciously thought of the other party, and the Killing Curse on the Elder Wand was delayed.
This also gave others a chance!
"Expelliarmus!"
"Fall to the ground!"
Two roars came one after another.
"Let go of Hermione!" Harry held the wand and glared at Voldemort, and Ron's face was red!
Voldemort easily used his wand to slap the curse to the side, but he also lost control of Hermione.
Hermione seized the opportunity, broke free from the clutches, and ran to Harry and Ron.
Voldemort was not angry... or he did it on purpose.
There were too many ways to kill Hermione. She was just a mudblood, not worthy of being killed by the Elder Wand, and his baby just hadn't had dinner yet.
Voldemort waved his wand lightly, and a huge Dark Mark appeared above his head.
The movement here also attracted the attention of others. In a short time, some Death Eaters gathered.
But...
Voldemort looked at the team of less than a hundred people around him, his face was livid.
Although he had learned from Snape that the Death Eaters had failed, he didn't expect that they would be defeated so thoroughly.
It's only been a short time, and only one-tenth of them are left... Even if hundreds of pigs were released, they wouldn't be killed so quickly.
"Are you... kidding?"
"Master!" Barty Crouch Jr. stood in the front, his voice trembling. Of course, he knew why Voldemort was angry, but they didn't expect this ending.
"More of us are trapped in the trap..." He said with a stiff face: "As long as we can let them out, we will definitely be able to break through Hogwarts!"
Following the direction of Barty Crouch's finger, Voldemort saw a huge column of Fiendfyre.
It was really big, almost as big as the Quidditch pitch. The huge burning column of fire was even more eye-catching than the Hogwarts Castle. He could also detect the Dark Mark inside.
Obviously, all his Death Eaters were inside.
"Hehehe... Kyle... Very good..." Seeing such a huge Fiendfyre, Voldemort instantly locked the culprit.
There was no need to think about it. The only person in Hogwarts who could control so many Fiendfyre was Kyle.
It's not that Voldemort underestimated those professors and the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, but they really couldn't do it.
The difficulty of controlling Fiendfyre is more than ten times that of releasing it. It is almost impossible to control the already formed Fiendfyre in the same place without spreading.
But he saw Kyle use a similar spell when he was in the Hesperidian Islands.
Thinking of this, Voldemort subconsciously touched half of his face, where the stinging pain of being burned by the fierce fire seemed to come again.
"You want to trap my Death Eaters like this? Dream on!" Voldemort stretched out his wand.
"Don't even think about it!"
A row of tables, chairs and benches suddenly fell from the sky and smashed heavily at Voldemort.
Voldemort could only turn his wand and smash all the tables holding two-handed swords and chain maces.
A tabby cat fell from the air and turned into Professor McGonagall, standing in front of Harry and the other two, protecting them behind him.
"Bang, bang, bang..."
The ground was shaking, and a giant and a slightly shorter half-blood giant ran from a distance, like two mad bull elephants.
That was Hagrid and his brother Grawp.
Scrimgeour also came. One of his legs was broken, and he was temporarily supported by a piece of wood, but the wand in his hand was very stable.
There were also the Weasleys, the werewolf Lupin, Tonks, and Kingsley following closely.
Chris quickly glanced at Harry and the other two, and then showed a disappointed look, but he didn't say anything, but stood opposite Voldemort as quickly as possible.
"Kyle should be fine..." Chris said in his heart.
Even Voldemort could think that Kyle was the one who trapped the Death Eaters with Fiendfyre, so Chris could think of it too.
Since Fiendfyre hasn't collapsed yet, it means that Kyle's magic is still going on, so he has nothing to worry about.
"Everyone is here." Voldemort said leisurely, not surprised at all.
Because this was his purpose.
It was easy to kill Harry. If he really wanted to, he could easily kill him in the secret passage, and Harry would not even have a chance to escape.
But Voldemort did not do so, because he wanted to kill Harry in front of everyone.
He wanted to shatter everyone's dream of being the savior and tell them that it was just an unrealistic fantasy... He, the Dark Lord, was invincible!
Now, the audience was in place, but they seemed unwilling to watch their performance quietly.
This was not a troublesome matter, just some necessary preparations.
Voldemort waved his wand.
The ground cracked, and countless dark hands stretched out from the cracks and grabbed the people closest to them.
Scrimgeour was closest to the crack, and the wood that served as a temporary prosthetic leg was grabbed by a hand and decayed into a pile of mud in a few seconds.
"Be careful, don't be touched by those ghosts!" He roared and retreated.
Voldemort waved his wand again, and those dark arms began to stretch out, like venomous snakes that became more and more flexible day by day...
"Crack!"
A subtle sound came from the old wand, so soft that only Voldemort could hear it.
He saw another crack on the old wand, so deep that the dark core could be seen inside.
It was like this again...
Voldemort suppressed his anger and stopped increasing his magic power.
The dark arms retreated back into the cracks, but the crisis was not resolved.
"Go!" Voldemort said, "Kill them, don't let me down again."
The surrounding Death Eaters immediately rushed out fearlessly, and Barty Crouch Jr. took the lead and pointed his wand at the Director of the Department of Magical Transportation, his father, in the crowd.
"Avada Kedavra!"
The war was reignited, and everyone was concentrating on dealing with the Death Eaters while pushing Harry all the way back.
They all knew that they were no match for Voldemort. The only thing they could do seemed to be to protect Harry Potter... at least not to let him die here.
Harry was pushed to the back, farther and farther away from Voldemort, until he suddenly bumped into someone.
"Potter!"
An extremely familiar voice came from behind him, and Harry stiffened all over. He recognized that it was Snape's voice.
"You..."
He was about to turn around when he was grabbed by a hand, and the hand suddenly pulled him down.
"Let go of Harry!"
Ron and Hermione raised their wands at the same time, but Snape seemed to be unable to see and still held Harry's collar tightly.
He didn't seem to mean to hurt Harry, but just took out a bottle.
"Take this... go... go to the headmaster's office!"
Harry had never seen Snape like this, firm and resolute... but why did he let him go to the headmaster's office, and what was he going to take?
But soon, Harry knew.
A silver-blue color flowed out of Snape's ears, which was neither liquid nor gas, but more like solidified wind.
Harry knew what this was. He had seen it before. This was a concrete memory that needed to be used with a Pensieve.
But why did Snape give him memory?
"Go to the headmaster's office... do what you should do..." Snape looked at Harry deeply, gritted his teeth and stood up from the ground, then walked in another direction.
"Harry..." Hermione and Ron ran over.
"It's strange that he didn't catch you to ask for credit from his master." Ron muttered in a low voice.
"That's what I can't understand." Harry frowned slightly.
None of them noticed Snape at the time. He could have killed him unexpectedly or caught him.
But Snape didn't do that. Instead, he gave him a bottle of memory. Harry didn't understand what was going on for a while.
"Are you going to the headmaster's office?" He looked at the bottle in his hand.
But now everyone is fighting Voldemort. How can he leave at this time...
Harry was extremely entangled. On the one hand, he wanted to figure out what Snape meant by this, and what he said... do what you should do.
On the other hand, Harry didn't want to be a deserter, he wanted to fight side by side with everyone.
"Harry, the Death Eaters are catching up!"
Hermione's shout made him make a decision.
No!
He couldn't choose to believe Snape, the enemy, just because of a sentence.
What he should really do... at least now, he should fight side by side with others and kill the Runespoor Snake as a Horcrux.
Strange, where is the snake?
Harry looked around and didn't find any trace of the Runespoor Snake.
It seemed that the Runespoor Snake had disappeared since they passed through the secret passage and returned to Hogwarts.
But Harry didn't think much about it, just thinking that Voldemort had protected it again. As long as they worked together to defeat Voldemort, they would have enough time to find the snake and kill it.
He quickly put the bottle into his pocket, and at the same time took out his wand and pointed it at a Death Eater who pounced on him.
"Expelliarmus!"
A wand spun and fell to the ground, and was stepped on and broken in the chaos.
"Oh, Harry, I think a Stunning Spell would be more useful than a Disarming Spell in this situation!" Hermione took the time to shout at him.
Harry scratched his hair, "Sorry, I'm used to it... fainting!"
Everyone was fighting together, and Voldemort raised his wand again. He already knew the limit of the old wand and was ready to end this farce.
As long as he didn't use a spell that was too powerful, it would be fine. How simple it was.
"Avada...ah!"
No one knew what happened. The sound of Voldemort chanting the spell suddenly turned into a shrill scream.
His whole face became distorted, as if he was experiencing great pain...
This sudden situation made everyone stop and look at Voldemort at the same time.
At this moment, whether it was the Death Eaters, Aurors, or professors and students, the expressions on their faces were puzzled and shocked.
What happened to Voldemort?
This was also their common problem.
Harry looked at Voldemort lying on the ground from a distance, twitching all over, and couldn't help but think of Lucius and Draco Malfoy who had just been tortured by him with the Cruciatus Curse.
But this was Voldemort, who could use the Cruciatus Curse on him?
However, before he could think about it, the ground cracked again, but this time there was no black arm, but flowing magma.
The magma spread rapidly, and did not distinguish between friend and foe.
Including the Death Eaters, everyone began to retreat quickly.
In the middle of the magma, Voldemort stood up tremblingly, with a hideous expression, and the hatred in his eyes seemed to have solidified into substance... The pain of his soul being crushed made him realize at the first time that it was his Horcrux that was destroyed.
And it was the Horcrux closest to him.
"Damn it!"
"Kill you, I will definitely kill you!"
