Chapter 123: Magic without wands and spells

”Well······That’s right.”

Harry didn’t know if it was urgent to ask Leonard to see the pumpkin, but he really didn’t want to delay it.

”Thank you Mr. MacMillan, it’s time for me to go.”

Harry said

”You’re welcome, just call me Ernie. Ernie waved his hand in a friendly manner and watched Harry leave enthusiastically.

For some reason, Harry suddenly had a strange feeling. The way the other person looked at him was a little familiar, just like the way he looked at Leonard.

It was really strange. He felt uncomfortable for no reason, a bit awkward.

So when he looked at Leonard like this, did Leonard feel the same way?

Harry quickly found the office of Professor Flitwick, the Charms professor.

He knocked politely, and soon, the door opened from the inside. The short Professor Flitwick looked up and showed a surprised expression when he saw the visitor.

”Mr. Potter, unexpected guest, is there any problem with your coming here?”

This tone made Harry blush involuntarily.

He seemed to have never asked the professor to ask questions. You see, Professor Flitwick was very surprised by his arrival. What made Harry even more ashamed was that he really came here. I’m not here to ask questions, I’m here to find someone.

”Sorry Professor” Harry said apologetically.

”I came to see Leonard. I heard from his roommate that he came to see you.”

”Yes, he is indeed here with me.”

Professor Flitwick smiled and said indifferently.

”Come in, but don’t disturb Leonard, he is very focused on learning magic”

”Learn magic? Is there anything Leonard can’t do?”

Harry said subconsciously

”It’s wrong to think so, Mr. Potter. No matter how smart a person is, knowledge will not creep into his head on its own, especially magic. Without hard practice, there is no way to master magic skillfully.”

Professor Flitwick said seriously.

These words made Harry blush again. Thinking about Leonard’s usual attitude of studying in the library, and then looking at Leonard, he still has a lot of shortcomings.

It’s all God’s fault. En Weasley, who was in the same dormitory, showed himself too easy a daily campus life, which led both him and Neville to failure.

Every time they went to the library, they could be found in Gryffin Ron Weasley, who played wizard chess in the common room, noticed that the other party would taunt him and Neville with meaningful looks and strange voices.

This made them resist going to the library. It was so unpleasant. You should. You can’t be affected by other people’s bad habits, and you have to cheer up!

It seems that it’s time for you to study seriously, but you can’t learn from Leonard and do your homework on the weekends. He doesn’t have the efficiency and ability, and you still have to do your homework every day. All the homework should be finished.

Determined, Harry followed Professor Flitwick into the office and saw Leonard sitting at the table staring at the teacup on the table.

What was he doing?

Harry looked towards Professor Flitwick cast a confused look, but the professor just raised his hand and raised his finger in front of his mouth to signal Harry not to speak. Although he was full of doubts, Harry still patiently waited for the change that would happen at some point.

Time p

assed minute by minute, wearing down Harry’s patience. Harry looked at Leonard blankly and then at Professor Flitwick, who had a solemn expression. His body twisted uncomfortably.

How long should he wait? Ah, what on earth is Leonard doing?

Just when Harry was thinking about whether he should ask again, Leonard who was sitting there suddenly sat up straight.

Harry perked up and looked over Leonard.

He didn’t see any other movements from Leonard. Suddenly, Harry noticed that something seemed to move. Just when he was confused, the teacup on the table slowly floated up! The teacup actually floated up slowly. It’s floating! It’s flying without any external force! Is this some kind of magic show?

Harry was interrupted as soon as the idea came to his mind.

This is the world of wizards, and there is magical magic everywhere. Isn’t this more magical than magic?

But what kind of magic is this? Why does the teacup fly by itself without a spell or a wand? How on earth is this done?

Harry subconsciously looked at Professor Flitwick, thinking he was the professor What did he do? Unexpectedly, the professor held his breath and stared at Leonard, as if he was afraid that he would disturb him by speaking out………….

The teacup floated up and down again. The moment the teacup fell, Harry heard Professor Flitwick’s cheers.

”Awesome Leonard, you did it!”

Harry has never seen the professor so excited.

It’s not that the professor doesn’t smile a lot. On the contrary, Professor Flitwick usually behaves very well. He always has a smile on his face and occasionally gets angry because of magic mistakes., such as being knocked into the wall by the impact of Neville’s wand swing, or being hit by Seamus Finnigan’s out-of-control magic. But he has never been so excited.

This made Harry even more curious, and he wanted to know, What was that magic that made the teacup float on its own just now?……

”Professor Flitwick, what kind of magic was that just now?”

Harry asked curiously.

Harry’s voice made the excited Leonard wake up. He turned to look at Harry with a confused look on his face.

”Harry, when did you come?”

”It’s been a while, but the professor asked me not to disturb you.”

Harry said and looked at Professor Foley hoping to get an answer.

”Oh, Mr. Potter, the one just now was just the most basic levitating spell. It is nothing compared to the repairing spell you are learning now.”

Professor Flitwick still had excitement on his face.

”The point is not magic, but the way to use magic”

”Using magic?”

Harry became even more curious and looked at Leonard.

Leonard glanced at Harry and knew that the savior was becoming curious. In order to prevent Harry’s curiosity from causing trouble to him, Leonard said directly

”It’s a combination of silent casting and wandless casting.”

”What are silent and wandless casting?”

Harry asked with some shame. He felt like a clueless idiot in front of Leonard.

”Literally, it is a method of casting spells without using a wand or chanting a spell.”

Leonard explained briefly.

”No wand or charm?”

Harry subconsciously raised his voice with a look of disbelief.

After all, this went against his long-standing common sense. In his opinion, magic is effective by combining a wand and a spell, right?
