Chapter 62 Quidditch Selection

Early in the morning on the weekend, Kyle just came out of the room to go for a morning run, and he blocked Cedric, who had been waiting in the common room for some time.

Cedric had a large wooden crate tucked under his left arm, and a big, sleepy brother was dragging his right hand.

Seeing Kyle's curious eyes, Cedric loosened his right hand in embarrassment, "This is the captain of our college Quidditch team, Jack Sparrow."

Because of Cedric's sudden release of his hand, Jack fell to the ground instantly with a slap, and there was an intimate collision between his face and the ground, which awakened him, who was drowsy.

Jack, who woke up, opened his eyes with dark circles and looked up at Cedric, "What happened? Is there an earthquake?"

Kyle's face twitched, no wonder Hufflepuff's annual Quidditch team was at the bottom.

With such an unreliable captain, it would be a ghost to win the game.

Cedric covered his face in embarrassment, "Jack, did you forget to test Kyle today?"

It took Jack some time to control his eyes to focus successfully.

Barely sober, he apologized to both Kyle and Cedric.

Looking out the window, it was still dark, and Kyle didn't understand why they had to conduct the Quidditch team entry test so early?

And is it an entry test for him alone?

Cedric quickly answered Kyle's doubts.

"There's absolutely no secret that you're the new Hufflepuff hitter,"

Cedric glanced at the sky outside the castle where there was only a hint of light.

"But if you choose to test you during such a time when no one is there, we can avoid the leakage of information to the greatest extent possible."

The three of them were soon on the Quidditch pitch.

Hundreds of chairs are lined up high in the stands around the pitch, giving spectators a view of what's going on on the pitch.

There are three golden poles on each end of the court with rings on top, that is the goal, and you can get ten points if you can throw the Quaffle into any of the rings.

However, compared to the 150 points earned from catching the Golden Snitch, it was still relatively small.

Captain Jack opened the wooden crate, revealing four balls of varying sizes inside.

"I don't need to explain Quidditch balls to you, right?"

Cedric took a bat out of the box and handed it to Kyle, which was kind of like a running post baseball bat.

Kyle tried to wave the stick in his hand, feeling a little light.

"Stand back," Jack reminded Kyle, the two shiny black balls struggling desperately in the box, trying to get rid of the leash that bound them.

Cedric bent down and released the restraint of one of the Bludgers. Suddenly, the black ball flew up in the air and hit Kyle directly in the face.

Kyle tilted his head to avoid the Bludger that seemed to smash his nose, and hooked Cedric.

"Throw the Quaffle too."

Cedric glanced at Kyle in surprise, as well as the Bludger behind him, which missed a hit and turned towards the back of Kyle's head in the air.

"you sure?"

Kyle seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, and he kicked the Bludger out with a backhand stick, "I'm sure, come on."

Jack picked up the bright red Quaffle, which was almost the size of a football, and threw it violently into the air.

Kyle held the stick in both hands, staring intently at the Bludger that hit the third time, while quickly calculating the trajectory of both it and the Quaffle in his mind.

With a bang, the Bludger was kicked out by Kyle again.

The black Bludger drew an arc in the air.

At the moment when the Quaffle was thrown to the top and started to fall,

Hit the Quaffle with precision.

With the crisp sound of the collision of the two balls, the trajectory of the Quaffle changed immediately.

Both Cedric and Jack rubbed their eyes in disbelief when they saw the Quaffle pass through the goal.

After passing through the goal, the subsequent weak Quaffle fell heavily on the lawn below, making a dull sound.

The two were still a little confused.

This ball is not covered, is it?

Kyle rolled over and rode on the broom, "Sed, shall we officially start the test?"

Cedric reacted and looked at Kyle's eyes sparkling, "Isn't your ball covered just now?"

"You can try a few more times and you'll know if I'm blinded." Kyle said lightly.

Just kidding, this is the shuriken throwing technique inherited from Itachi God!

It would be better if he could replace the wooden stick in his hand with a metal one, and Kyle weighed the stick in his hand so that he could play more easily.

In that case, Kyle feels that he can give it a try for any strangely curved Bludgers.

That would make it impossible for the opposing amateur Quidditch player to guard against it.

The excitement on Cedric and Jack's faces couldn't be suppressed after watching Kyle easily score a goal by colliding with the Quaffle from various unimaginable angles.

It doesn't matter if the hitting angle is tricky and weird, the Bludgers shot by Kyle is not as powerful as what ordinary first-year wizards can play.

Cedric has long known that Kyle's physical fitness is excellent, but even so...

The screeching sound of the Bludger flying fast, Cedric had no doubts that if it hit the opponent's body, as long as it hits, it can be shot down instantly, and there is no power to play.

What Cedric didn't know was that, in addition to his extraordinary physical fitness, Kyle secretly opened two spells, Thunderbolt Forging and Strange Force, which could be cast without a wand.

Time passed bit by bit, and the sun gradually poked its head from the mountains.

Glancing at the sky, the students at Hogwarts were about to wake up.

Cedric waved at Kyle, who was still flying in the sky, "Hey! Kyle! It's time to go back!"

On the way back to the castle, Jack happily patted Kyle on the shoulder.

"This year's Quidditch Cup will have our name engraved on it, if you can play at that level in official competition."

Kyle is not worried at all that he will play abnormally in the official game. What he wants to know more now is...

"Sed, I remember that the final Quidditch Cup is determined by the cumulative number of points we get throughout the season, right?"

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Cedric replied casually.

A smirk climbed up Kyle's face, "What if we score him two or three thousand points with a Quaffle in a game?"

"You mean..." Cedric was instantly excited.

Jack understood Kyle's thoughts at once, and quickly said what Kyle wanted to say:

"Take down the opposing Seeker with the Bludgers first to make sure they don't get the Snitch..."

On the way back to the castle, the three mainstays of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team laughed wickedly.

Judging from their appearance, this year's Quidditch Cup should be stable.
