Hogwarts starts with stealing power

Chapter 8 Employee Training Guidance

Olivander refused without a second thought: "My small shop only needs two employees."

As one of the three largest wand manufacturers in Europe, Ollivander's wands are very famous in Europe.

The wands sold to Hogwarts students are only the cost price. Lin Xia has seen him sell to other adult wizards, and he would charge hundreds of times more.

In the end, he is stingy, otherwise he would not hire part-time workers.

Lin Xia smiled and said, "Mr. Ollivander, I'm sorry to tell you that I have to go home in a few days. My parents still have a lot of things to tell me."

Her bright eyes flashed with cunning, "So I thought about it, in order to save your time in training new employees, why not hire someone to do employee training before I leave, and wait until he can deal with customers skillfully, then I will leave, so as not to delay your business."

Lin Xia pointed at Ron, who was confused, "Sir, I think this boy is good. He is hardworking and honest at first glance."

Olivander looked at Ron with a critical eye. Arthur, the head of the family, understood something and chimed in, "My little son can do housework at home!"

The Weasley family is not poor in terms of their dress. Arthur works in the Ministry of Magic and is valued by Dumbledore.

But he is reckless, speaks too directly, and offends too many people. Unlike others, he can only get the basic salary from the Ministry of Magic.

A family of nine people needs to spend money on food and drink, and the money they saved is only 10 Galleons from the original poor 1 Galleon.

Ron needs to buy a lot of things for school, not just the wand. Molly originally wanted to wait until other things were bought before thinking of a solution.

Receiving Arthur's eye reminder, Molly took the other children away neatly, leaving the confused and nervous Ron behind.

Ron's mind was blank, he didn't know where to put his hands and feet, and he was about to fall off the stool.

The wand shop welcomed a new customer, Ollivander and another employee went to greet them, and Ron stayed at the cashier with Lin Xia.

The owner of the Leaky Cauldron personally delivered the goods to the door, but was stopped outside by Lin Xia's quick eyes and hands. She skillfully used the levitation spell to take over a large pile of things, and whispered to the boss:

"Uncle, Mr. Ollivander will settle the bill at the end of the month."

Tom bent down to look at her, winked at her comically, and whispered back: "Little boy, I'll give you two extra bottles of blackcurrant sparkling water, you're welcome."

Lin Xia's eyes lit up, and suddenly she felt that it was okay to be cute.

She returned with a large bag full of things, and generously shared the food with Ron.

The Leaky Cauldron sells wine, but the ten classic signs are all desserts. The bar will not openly use wine with special effects for promotion.

The sweet aroma of the food made Ron mechanically feed himself one piece after another until he was full, and then he felt alive again.

He looked at Lin Xia with gratitude in his eyes. This girl must be the reincarnation of the savior, the angel sent by God to save him!

Then, he found the empty box next to Lin Xia, which was three times more than his, and she picked up a piece of strawberry cake and continued to eat without changing her expression.

Ron: ...

Oh, the angel seems to be a big eater.

Lin Xia finished all the desserts in the Leaky Cauldron. It seemed very slow, but it only took twenty minutes. She waved her hand: "Clean up!"

All the garbage was wrapped in bags. Lin Xia skillfully snapped her fingers, "Wingardium Leviosa", and the heavy bag floated up. She ran outside to throw away the garbage.

Ron was stunned to see her show this skill. What a great magic talent, she didn't even use a wand!

After eliminating the evidence, Lin Xia had time to introduce the wand shop to the new employees.

"The job is simple. When Mr. Ollivander is not available to serve, arrange seats for new customers and let them wait for a while. During this time, you can tell them the history of Ollivander Wand Shop."

Ron pointed at the huge introduction at the door in confusion, "Isn't it all written?"

Lin Xia: "I know, but it's more ceremonial to say it out loud. You have to give customers a mysterious and solemn feeling. This is a shop opened in 382 BC. The Ollivander family has been making wands for generations. Don't you think this introduction is heavy?"

Ron shrugged, "Okay."

Although he didn't understand it, it didn't stop him from writing it down.

"Most of the time, you stay at the cashier and give change to customers." Lin Xia continued.

"Find, find money?" Ron stuttered, suddenly becoming very nervous, his face pale, "What if I give the wrong change? Do I have to pay compensation? I don't have that much money..."

"Don't be nervous, I asked the boss for a calculator, and the calculator will automatically count when I check out."

Ron was no longer nervous, especially after he personally went to work to find money, he was even more proud and impressive.

Lin Xia handed him another note, which stated what he should do when customers come in and wait, and what to say, and when customers leave, don't forget to say welcome next time.

"You have to recite it fluently within two days to pass this recruitment."

Ron felt dizzy when he saw a long paragraph of text, and said in horror: "I can't do it, it's too difficult!"

Lin Xia looked at him calmly, "You must do it."

Ron's face flushed, and he wanted to defend himself, but Lin Xia's next sentence came: "Ron, do you still want your own wand?"

Ron's throat was suddenly stuck.

Lin Xia said calmly: "You may not understand the reason why your parents would keep you here, but I can see that they hope that you can work part-time and buy your own wand."

"Ron, you have a large family, and your parents have their own difficulties. I can see that both your brothers go out to work to make money."

"Besides, there is no shame in working-study. I also learned a lot of knowledge by working and earned an extra dozen gold galleons. I didn't have to worry about running out of money while studying."

Ron lowered his head in silence, his eyes were moist and red, and he clenched the note tightly.

After a few more seconds, he recited it silently.

Business was especially good at night. Even with Ron's help, Lin Xia was still forced to work overtime.

Ollivander felt extremely sorry for this. It was his fault that he could not send people home for the reunion dinner during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Lin Xia smiled nonchalantly: "Sir, I'm going to have something to eat later, just treat me to it."

Ollivander said generously: "You can eat whatever you want, and so can other employees. Eat whatever you want, and charge it to my account."

Ron was so busy that he laughed happily when he heard this. To be honest, the food in the store was comparable to the Chinese New Year at home.

He suddenly felt that there was no harm in working part-time.

Some time in the middle, Lin Xia picked up her small leather bag and went to the store warehouse. She asked Ron to help and bring him delicious food when she came back.

Ron nodded desperately, indicating with his eyes that it was okay, and was so busy that he didn't even have time to reply.

In the warehouse, Lin Xia stared intently at the unicorn hair, dragon nerves, and phoenix feathers newly purchased in the store yesterday, and finally reached out to pick up the dragon nerves.
