Hogwarts: Storm Chaser

Chapter 1: The Shocking Letter

Hogsmeade.

Ralph Alvey was lying on the bed in his loose pajamas, leaning against pillows, holding a copy of "Standard Spells, Elementary" in his hand.

Above it was a thundercloud, flashing with electric light. From time to time, thunder and lightning fell in the air, but did not make any sound.

Ralph has blond hair and light brown eyes.

The hair is smooth and supple, staying naturally on the head and never acting weird.

Stop what you are doing.

Ralph looked out the window.

Not far away, an owl flew straight over, and its target seemed to be him, the window of his house.

Opening the window, the owl landed directly on Ralph's outstretched arm and showed the letter to Ralph.

"Thank you for your hard work, let's have something to eat."

Ralph took down the letter, waved his hand, and some nuts and a glass of water flew to the desk beside him.

Rubbing the envelope with your fingers, you can feel its thickness.

The envelope had a wax seal, a shield of arms, and a capital "H" surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake.

Opening the envelope, Ralph took out the letter and began to read.

It's an acceptance letter to Hogwarts.

A little surprised, he browsed the letter.

[Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry:

[appendix]

'go to school?'

Ralph found it a bit funny. He was not a human, so he still had to go to a human school? He didn't know if there was something wrong with the students in this school.

Should you go or not?

Ralph thought.

"Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

"Okay, don't rush me, why don't you take a rest? I'm thinking about it."

Ralph collapsed on the soft bed, thinking.

Suddenly, he sat up and recalled the information in his dream.

"If you don't go, the school will probably send a professor to persuade you to prevent the little wizard from becoming Obscurus."

Arriving at the desk, Ralph picked up the quill, took out a piece of letter paper, and began to reply.

The owl on the side jumped over and looked at him.

[Dear Professor McGonagall:

I would like to be a part of your school.

Ralph Alvey.]

With a slight stroke of his finger, the letter was torn into two parts.

Put the part with the content into the envelope, seal it, hand it to the owl, and touch its little head.

The owl grabbed the envelope, spread its wings, kicked off its feet, and flew away from the house.

Picking up the "Standard Spells" thrown on the bed, Ralph shook his head, stuffed it back on the bookshelf, and took out "Herbal Cultivation and Care".

He has always wanted to cultivate electrified herbs, such as electrified white fresh herbs. Although natural herbs taste good, the taste of electrified herbs will be even better.

I recall that when I was a child, my mother would electrocute the sea fish herself and feed it to our mouths. The food would be filled with electric sparks, hitting the esophagus and entering the stomach.

"Peng~" Thunder and lightning exploded in my stomach, and tiny electric rays roamed every part of my body, feeling extremely comfortable.

However, so far, he has not succeeded in cultivating it. Instead, he has opened a medicinal field in his own territory and planted many herbs that he can eat.

The moon-crazy beasts would come regularly to defecate, and God knows how much time he spent teaching these little creatures to defecate at specific spots.

The ball escaping bird will flash over from time to time to clean up the pests.

Oracles are good weather forecasters, but they are very noisy in winter. Moreover, their calls can affect the growth and development of herbs.

The herbs that grow under the chirping of augurs make people melancholy when eaten, and for Ralph, they have an extra bitter taste.

So during that time, wizards suffering from depression appeared in the British wizarding community, and some wizards were admitted to St. Mungo's Hospital of Witchcraft and Wizardry for treatment due to their serious condition.

Fortunately, the people at that time agreed that it was the influence of the cruel Voldemort.

As a result, some strange phenomena occurred in St. Mungo's. After these depressed wizards used magic potions, their condition would worsen for a period of time.

In addition to fortune-telling birds, Ralph has also used bad-birds. Bad-birds generally like to sing and have beautiful singing voices. They are truly singers among birds.

However, they have a rather naughty temperament and like to see creatures go crazy because of their singing.

Their songs are of great benefit to the growth of herbs and are completely harmless to creatures with high magic resistance.

After creatures with low magic resistance consume these herbs, their thoughts will wander for a period of time. In short, their sanity will be weakened.

In the past few years, Ralph has sold many herbs with hundreds of millions of minor problems. Since it was during the war, he made a lot of profit.

Since arriving in the Forbidden Forest five years ago, he has slowly become the king of all birds in the Forbidden Forest.

His cave was inside a large mountain east of the Forbidden Forest, where he opened a spacious cave as his residence.

As for why it is a cave, we have to start with his birth.

He had a younger brother, a younger sister and a mother, who raised them in a cave on an island in the sea.

As for their father, they have not seen each other since he was born.

Their mother also told them that their father was a "pampered" noble man who ran away when he found out she was pregnant.

In this way, they grew up one after another under the care of their mother, and their younger brothers and sisters also left one by one, and finally their mother also left.

Ralph stayed there for nearly four years before leaving. The reason for leaving was that a couple from the same clan told him before leaving, "This is a parenting spot for our clan."

This made Ralph feel the emotion called "shame" for the first time.

However, he also learned a lot from this couple, such as many skills in hunting, identifying, and fighting enemies.

After all, they are much older than Ralph's mother. Moreover, this is not their first childbirth, and they have relatively rich parenting experience.

Unfortunately, the couple only gave birth to one child, not as many as Ralph's family.

Finally, they exchanged feathers with Ralph and left.

Ralph, on the other hand, left after paying off his mother's debt.

Because he saw the couple dancing and crowing in the thunderstorm as they left.

In the next few months, Ralph kept company with thunderstorms, soaring and dancing in the sky from time to time.

Working as a voluntary laborer for a few months is not without its benefits.

He used thunder and lightning to cleanse his bloodline again and again, and consumed his magic power again and again.

This improved his magic sensitivity a lot, and at the same time he knew the origin of this place and a language - bird language.
