Hogwarts: Storm Chaser

Chapter 74: The Rescue Ends

Just as they were using what they had learned, Sophia was attracted by the movement here and flew out of Ralph's lair.

Flying into the clouds and feeling the moist water vapor coming from the ground, Sophia felt particularly comfortable. She could see the ground clearly through the clouds and mist.

Thunderbirds are one of the few birds that like humid environments. At the same time, their magical blood ensures that their eyes can see through the clouds and mist when flying in them.

Looking at the splendid magic feast on the ground, Sophia's eyes shone with light. She flew to the center and landed on the big decayed tree. She weighed herself and found that she could support herself on the ground.

Now, the main force has opened up a fan-shaped area within the Dragon Claw Vine and is steadily advancing forward.

The centaurs walked at a leisurely pace, shooting arrows as they advanced; the Acromantula stayed behind.

When everyone came within range, the ground suddenly began to twitch, rise and fall, and several centaurs fell.

From the cracks in the ground, you can clearly see the roots moving crazily underground, with panic flashing in your eyes.

Suddenly, the roots rioted and thrust upwards. Many giant centaur spiders were overturned and flew up, then fell heavily to the ground.

At the critical moment, Albus knelt down on one knee and inserted the Elder Wand into the ground.

A golden-red light radiated outward with him as the center of the circle.

He raised his head and looked sharply at the center. A gust of wind swirled around him, lifting his beard and fluttering his white hair.

Everyone looked at Albus like this in surprise.

Professor McGonagall's eyes were full of memories, and she seemed to see Albus in the past, so high-spirited and full of vitality.

As the golden red light flashed, everyone felt a wave of heat pass over their faces, and the dampness on their bodies disappeared instantly.

The roots swinging in the air became stiff and turned into ashes in the blink of an eye, falling down.

Pulling out the wand, Albus stood up and waved his hand back, and the injured centaurs and Acromantula were immediately healed.

"You guys go ahead. I'll hold on to the battle."

He smiled and said to everyone, injecting an unprecedented sense of security and confidence into everyone's hearts.

"Continue the attack!"

Professor McGonagall gave orders and coordinated the battlefield.

In her eyes, this is no different from a Quidditch match, except that the cost of winning or losing is life.

But, will they lose? The pride of being a wizard has always been hidden in the bones, deep in the blood.

"Filius, back off!"

Professor Flitwick immediately retreated, and the roots in his area began to rage, along with some remaining vines.

After he calmed down, he continued to step forward.

Seeing Professor McGonagall strategizing on the battlefield and giving orders neatly, Sophia looked envious.

He couldn't help but bring himself into it, and the electric light on his body kept swimming, attracting the attention of Albus and the others.

"That is?" Albus looked at Amanda questioningly.

"Sofia, princess. It's her." Amanda said, and he was also surprised why Sophia was here.

"Princess! Be careful!"

His eyes narrowed, and he could see an extremely thick vine with acid drawn towards Sophia.

If Professor Sprout were here, she would be able to tell at a glance that this is the main vine of Dragon Claw Vine.

When the sound of breaking through the air woke Sophia up, it was already too late.

With a "pop" sound, Sophia was flung far away and then landed with a bang.

"Is it supposed to be okay?" Albus looked at the place where Sophia fell with some uncertainty, and then looked at Amanda.

"It should be fine." Amanda was not sure, a little panicked, and his hind legs couldn't stop kicking the ground.

An angry cry was heard, calming everyone down.

Sophia flew in the air, waving her wings. The dark clouds in the sky became heavier and heavier, and lightning flashed among them.

The feathers that Sophia had finally grown on were corroded by the acid again, turning black and smelly, and stained with that inexplicable sticky liquid.

As the thunder continued to roar in the sky, everyone put down their wands. Like Professor Flitwick, the tips of several professors' wands were smoking.

Hovering above the dead tree in Sophia, thunder and lightning struck the dead tree from the sky.

Swinging in the air, thinking of the vines that hit Sophia, they stiffened and fell under the stimulation of lightning; they returned to the sky, stiffened and fell.

Within a few times, the dragon's claw vine took back all the vines that were climbing around it, and wrapped its own main vine and the old tree into a ball, constantly squirming.

Under lightning, the pieces of acid dried up, scabbed, fell off, and turned into fly ash.

As the vines were recovered, everyone took a look and started scanning the field.

"There!"

Everyone looked over and saw a large gray-black ball made of vines embedded in the ground, with a small part exposed.

Seeing that it was Professor Sprout's method, Albus and the professors quickly walked over, and if nothing else happened, the little lions were also inside.

Albus and the others felt that Professor McGonagall's temperament began to change, and they couldn't help but put on serious expressions.

As they walked closer, the big ball of vines began to wither slowly, turning into twigs and fallen leaves, and a soft white light ran out from the ever-expanding gap.

A strong smell swept through everyone, causing them to temporarily close their eyes.

Professor McGonagall knew as soon as she smelled it that it smelled like fermented dragon dung. She still remembered Pomona asking her if it smelled good.

Everyone opened their eyes again and looked at Professor Sprout, who was a little too clean and tidy. She looked at everyone with her gentle smile.

The professors all smiled at her gently.

Professor Sprout waved her magic wand, and seeds floated out from the dragon dung pile. After being baptized by the rain, they fell into her hands.

The white light gradually dissipated.

However, under the electric light, they could still clearly see the four Gryffindors with their heads lowered.

Professor McGonagall looked at them sternly, almost making her lose control of her emotions.

"Ahem!"

She coughed hard a few times to calm her mood, but it made their heads lower.

He wanted to say something, but looking at them like this, Professor McGonagall still felt a little soft-hearted. He was covered in dragon dung, which probably made him uncomfortable.

Well, Pomona can't be blamed. Without her, these people would probably be dead.

"Forget it, follow us first. If you dare to run away, you will definitely be expelled from Hogwarts, I guarantee it!"

Professor McGonagall said, her tone becoming stern, but she still raised her wand to clean the dragon dung from them.

The four of them couldn't help but look at their dean with gratitude. Under Professor McGonagall's eyes, they walked behind the professors.

But what they don't know is that they have already been pickled.

Professor Sprout only found out about this when he saw them in the herbal medicine class next week.

The dragon's claw vine in the center was already dying, and all the acid on the main vine had dried up under the baking of lightning.

Rainwater cannot replenish moisture.

"Okay, enough venting. Stop it, it? They are dying."

A sudden sound startled Sophia. She looked in the direction of the sound and saw that it was Ralph who was looking askance at her.
