Hogwarts: The Greatest Wizard

Chapter 1 Phineas Walburga Black Jr.

In the dark environment, the only candlelight illuminated the vague back of the person in front of the lampstand. From the shadow, it was a small child, flipping through an old, heavy book under the weak candlelight.

The unknown leather book cover and the black smoke that occasionally floated out of the pages all showed the ominous nature of the book.

At this moment, a short, bald-headed elf with a thick nose like a pig's nose and two big ears like bats with a lot of white hair inside appeared in this dim room.

"Third Master, the lady's funeral has been completed. Do you have anything else to tell Kreacher?"

The elf said to the boy's back in a hoarse, low voice like a bullfrog.

When the boy heard Kreacher's words, the movement of turning the book in his hand paused. After a moment of silence, he turned and looked at Kreacher.

At this time, through the moonlight outside the window, the boy's face that was hidden in the dark before was revealed.

Under the medium-length black hair was a very handsome face. The dark gray eyes and the light revealed in them made him exude a British gentleman's atmosphere from the inside out.

The boy's slightly immature face was pale without blood, and the purple marks around his eyes showed his fatigue.

The boy looked at Kreacher, sighed and asked,

"It's all done, right? So, what are the reactions of other families to my inheritance of the Black family's legacy?"

Kreacher nodded and responded to the boy's question,

"It's all done, and the family's property has been transferred to your name, the third young master. At the funeral, Miss Narcissa was very sad, but Miss Bellacrites was very excited. She expressed dissatisfaction with your absence. Except for the Rich family showing some ambitions for your assets, the other families did not react."

The boy nodded and jumped off the chair. Yes, he jumped off.

It turned out that the boy shouldn't say that the reason why this child looks like a teenager is because he is sitting on a chair, and the shadow cast by the candlelight is a little tall.

Now looking at the boy's height and physique, he is only about three or four years old.

The boy looked at Kreacher and asked,

"So, what about the Selwyn family? Who are they coming from?"

Kreacher said,

"It was Mr. Elrond, who was good friends with the third young master. Before he left, he asked Kreacher to express his condolences to the young master on his behalf."

The child understood and stopped talking about this topic.

"Okay, let's not talk about this anymore. Take me to my room."

Kreacher picked up the child and walked out of the study, and walked up the stairs.

The house they were in at this time was a five-story mansion.

This is where the child's family, the Black family, has lived for generations, No. 12 Grimmauld Place.

If you look at this house from the outside, you will find that it is very old, and the door is covered with scratches and painted black. The only thing worth mentioning may be the silver door handle in the shape of a coiled snake. There is no keyhole on the door, nor a mailbox.

As a pure-blood wizard family, the Black family does not need these things. Magic is needed to open and close the door, and letters are naturally delivered by creatures such as owls and pigeons.

Inside the house, there is a basement where the kitchen is located. A room surrounded by rough stone walls and only a fireplace in the distance.

Of course, the basement is not just a kitchen, there is also a storage room that can accommodate two people, and a small dining room.

Upstairs from the basement, which is the first floor where the entrance to the mansion is located, there is a long corridor in sight. The walls on both sides of the corridor are covered with peeling wallpaper, worn carpets, gas lamps, and a large snake-shaped spider web chandelier and candlesticks.

On the wall are some portraits that have turned black due to age. Those are portraits of the ancestors of the Black family. Most of the decorations in the porch are snake patterns, but there is also an umbrella stand made of troll legs, which are the symbols of ancient pure-blood families.

Going up the stairs, you will reach the second floor of the mansion. The wall next to the stairs is covered with the heads of the house elves who once served the Black family for their entire lives. All the house elves, including Kreacher today, are proud to have their heads placed on this wall after death. The living room of the mansion is on this floor. Of course, there are also several bedrooms and a bathroom.

The living room is completely different from other places. It is very luxurious and exquisite. There is a large window overlooking the street in front of the house. There are two gorgeous glass cabinets on both sides of the large fireplace on the wall. The most important thing is that another wall is covered with a Black family tree-shaped family tree tapestry. There are all the portraits and names of the members of the Black family on it. However, some of the portraits have been burned. They are members whose names have been removed from the family.

Then there is the third floor. There are only two rooms on this floor. One is the child's bedroom. The bedroom has a very high ceiling, a bed, a wardrobe, and a blank portrait.

This portrait belongs to an ancestor of the Black family, who was once the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and has the same name as the child, Phineas Nigellus Black. (Phineas for short)

And the child is called Phineas Walburga Black Jr.

The layout of the fourth floor is exactly the same as that of the third floor, but the fifth floor is a little different because it is the top floor. There are three rooms on this floor, which are the rooms of Finny's eldest brother Sirius Black, the second brother Regulus Black, and his mother, Mrs. Walburga Black. However, they are all gone now.

No matter where you look at it, from which angle, you can see that this so-called mansion has been in disrepair for many years and is very dilapidated.

The culprit who caused this mansion to become dilapidated and has not been repaired for many years is Walburga Black, the mother of this child, who just held a funeral today. Because in her later years, she was like a madman, madly supporting the Dark Lord who fell not long ago.

And these things will take a long time to talk about in detail, so I will tell them slowly when I have the opportunity in the future.

The sight returned to Finny who was carried back to the room by Kreacher.

After Kreacher put Finny on the ground, he said,

"Third Master, according to the wife's last wish, you will go to Sguller to study in a few days."

Finny couldn't help curling his lips when he heard this. Sguller is a very special school in the wizarding world. It only belongs to pure-blood families, and it is a special pure-blood family. Only qualified people can enter this school.

Only descendants of ancient and noble pure-blood families like Black, Selwyn, and Richie, who have completed the magic riot before their seventh birthday, can enter here.

It is a school completely different from other magic schools. It is more like a military school, a high-level training institution.

(I borrowed some settings from the book "Big Boss in the Harry Potter World" by Half a Biscuit, such as the setting of the opposition between the Selwyn and Richie families, and the setting of Sguller School. It is a tribute, and I won't involve too much content in this regard later.)
