Back at the Beverly Hills mansion, Nicole Kidman took a shower, changed into soft pajamas, and lay on a lounge chair on the terrace to sunbathe.

In the bright sunshine, scenes from the bathroom constantly flashed before her eyesβ€”gentle, intense, suffocating. Each scene replayed in her mind like a high-definition video, causing her soul and body to tremble uncontrollably, her legs tightly intertwined.

Ding-a-ling! Ding-a-ling!

A series of harsh telephone rings interrupted her reverie.

Nicole Kidman opened her eyes in displeasure, picked up the phone on the table. It was Michael Ovitz calling.

Ovitz said on the phone that the paparazzi saw her leaving the bar with Link, and only reappeared more than half an hour later, asking what she and Link had been doing.

Nicole Kidman blinked and said that she had tried to meet Link many times without success.

Today, after running into Link at the bar, she took advantage of Link's trip to the restroom to try to seduce him.

But Link was a coward, not only did he not accept, but he also pushed her to the ground, causing her to sprain her ankle.

"Link is a bastard, a demon who should go to hell. He's not human, he's the most shameless, despicable, and barbaric animal in the world.

I tried so hard to please him, offering myself up for him to play with, but he didn't dare to touch me. He's just a cowardly, weak, and incompetent man. I can't wait to kill him now, run him over with a car, and repeatedly crush him under the wheels ten thousand times!"

Nicole Kidman cursed Link with vicious language.

She found it very pleasurable to curse Link, like whipping him with a leather whip.

And she felt like a queen laughing heartily.

On the other end of the phone, Michael Ovitz's eye muscles couldn't help but twitch when he heard her cursing so harshly. It was truly awful.

In his impression, Nicole Kidman was a gentle and elegant woman, but now she was using such vicious and vulgar language to curse Link.

One could imagine how much Link's rejection had hurt her.

Now, Link was probably the person Nicole hated most in her heart.

"Nicole, you should rest well. Link's matter isn't urgent, we'll talk about it after you've recovered."

"Michael, Link probably doesn't like me, why don't you try someone else?"

Nicole Kidman said.

Michael Ovitz had also considered this issue, but creating negative publicity for Link would only be effective with a married woman.

Although CAA had many female actresses, there were hardly any who were as beautiful and willing to cooperate as Nicole Kidman.

He could only comfort Nicole with a few words, persuading her to be patient, not to be discouraged, and to try a few more times, surely she could make Link fall at her feet.

Nicole Kidman reluctantly agreed, but she also stated that seducing Link would waste time and energy, delay work, and sometimes even get her hurt. She hoped that CAA could give her some resources in advance as compensation.

Michael Ovitz agreed, saying that director Jane Campion was filming a major female-lead drama, and the company would recommend her to try out for it.

Nicole Kidman expressed her gratitude.

Hanging up the phone, Nicole Kidman smiled slightly, a hint of triumph flashing in her blue eyes, but suddenly remembering that face, the triumphant expression on her face instantly crumbled.

Nicole Kidman slapped the sofa in embarrassment, rolled her eyes, and picked up the phone to call.

"Nicole, what's wrong?"

Link's clear and magnetic voice sounded on the phone. The voice was very pleasant, but also equally hateful. After experiencing that kind of thing, Link was talking to her as if nothing had happened.

Nicole Kidman seemed very indignant. She wanted to scold Link a few times, but the words changed when they reached her lips, "What are you doing?"

"Working at the company. The new movie is about to start filming, so there's a lot of work to do right now,"

Link said.

"What new movie? Batman?"

"'The Sixth Sense,' a ghost movie with a bit of human warmth."

"Doesn't sound like much. Are there any suitable roles for me?"

"No, 'The Sixth Sense' has two main female roles, one is the male lead's wife of over ten years, and the other is an 8-year-old child's mother. You're too young and too beautiful, it's not suitable for you."

"Oh, so you do know how to compliment people."

Nicole Kidman felt sweet in her heart and very pleased when she heard him say she was young and beautiful.

"Then give me the female lead in 'Batman'."

"That role was given to Monica. I'll give you a suitable role next time. Didn't you just finish filming 'To Die For'?" Link said.

"Monica Bellucci?"

Nicole Kidman thought of that Italian woman and pouted her red lips in dissatisfaction. "You're really good to her. I'm your woman now too. You have to treat me and her equally in the future."

"Got it. Anything else?" Link asked.

"What do you think? I'm injured, seriously injured, almost died. Aren't you even going to ask me how I am?"

No mistake, one first, one inside, one content, one at a glance!

Nicole Kidman said aggrievedly.

"Stop complaining. If it were someone else, you wouldn't have just suffered a minor injury."

"You!"

Nicole Kidman wanted to retort, but thinking about what happened in the bathroom, whether she was tempting, threatening, or pestering him, Link had never truly offended her, and had been very restrained and tolerant.

From this point of view, that bastard was a gentleman.

Nicole Kidman was about to call him a coward when she suddenly heard footsteps behind her. She quickly said into the phone, "Cindy, I twisted my ankle and need to rest. Let's go shopping in a couple of days."

Hanging up the phone, her husband Tom Cruise walked onto the terrace, staring at her leg. "I heard you twisted your ankle?"

"Heard? Who did you hear that from?"

Nicole Kidman quietly tucked her calf into the blanket, preventing Tom Cruise from seeing the handprints on it.

"You said it on the phone."

Tom Cruise frowned and said.

"Yes, I saw Link at the bar today. I wanted to talk to him about the female lead in 'Batman', but that bastard suddenly became beastly after drinking, pushed me onto the sofa, tore off my dress and stockings, and brutally violated me. Husband, can you avenge me?"

Nicole Kidman wiped her eyes, pretending to be aggrieved.

"Really?"

Hearing Nicole's description, Tom Cruise couldn't help but imagine the scene of Link pushing Nicole Kidman down, but he shook his head instantly.

This was different from what Michael Ovitz said. Compared to Nicole, he trusted the former more.

"Stop it, you just twisted your ankle."

"Husband, I'm telling the truth, that bastard really raped me. Should we call the police and arrest him? Let him go to jail, ruin his reputation, and punish that damn rapist."

Nicole Kidman shouted angrily, clenching her fists.

Tom Cruise shook his head, "Link isn't the kind of person who acts without considering the consequences. If he dared to do something like that, Michael Ovitz wouldn't be helpless against him. You should rest well."

After speaking, Tom Cruise turned and left.

Nicole Kidman smiled coldly and lay back on the lounge chair, stretching comfortably.
