#174 - To play so big

The exquisite costumes and artistry of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" imbued the film with an extreme aestheticism.

However, the film's theme seemed somewhat clichéd and lacked depth. The narrative, with its mysterious and gorgeous, almost decadent, shots, interpreted a beautiful love story that transcended all boundaries.

“Gary Oldman's performance is indeed quite unique!”

In the pitch-black theater, Aaron whispered his evaluation of the film to Winona Ryder, who was beside him.

“By the way, has the filming of Martin Scorsese's 'The Age of Innocence' wrapped up on your end?”

As he spoke, Aaron took the opportunity to reach out and caress the woman's thigh.

“It's finished. 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' will soon be released in North America. Will you be returning home as well?”

“Of course, I'll be returning,” Aaron knew that the film had a series of promotional activities, but his return wasn't for this movie.

“Bram Stoker's Dracula” was being distributed by Columbia Pictures. Aaron was returning to support the works being self-distributed by Dawn.

“See, your look in the film is really beautiful!” Aaron smiled.

Winona Ryder's image in the film was fresh and bright, shaping the female lead with a classic beauty.

“Well, after the premiere party, let's go back to the hotel together!”

Winona Ryder felt a surge of excitement under Aaron's teasing.

Later that night, in a suite at the Savoy Hotel in London.

Winona Ryder tightly embraced Aaron Anderson, who was lying on top of her, covered in sweat, and let out a scream!

Immediately after, she said weakly, “Aaron, are you always this good?”

Aaron rolled over, lay to one side, exhaled, and simply smiled, “Haven't you already felt it?”

Supporting his head with his hand, watching the woman's chest rise and fall with her breath, Aaron reached out and stroked her, “'Bram Stoker's Dracula' will be released on a large scale next.”

“There should be quite a few promotional activities. Sony Columbia seems to value this work quite a bit!”

Winona Ryder nodded, “'Reality Bites,' which will be released in the spring of next year, is the first film I've served as a producer on.”

“I've also paid attention to the editing and other aspects of the film. When it's released, Dawn will provide strong support, right?”

Aaron moved closer to the woman's face, “Don't worry, 'Reality Bites' has you as a star for publicity, so Dawn will definitely invest the necessary resources for marketing.”

“When 'Reality Bites' is being promoted, I can spend a few more days with you!”

Winona Ryder smiled, “Isn't 'Scent of a Woman' about to be released? Don't you need me to help you promote it?”

“Of course, I do,” Aaron said as he kissed the woman's ear, “It's just that 'Scent of a Woman' is too artistic.”

“It's different from the model of commercial films like 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'!”

Winona Ryder rubbed against the man, “Want to continue?”

“What do you think?” Aaron hugged the woman and lay on top of her, “Darling, I'm not done yet.”

Winona Ryder looked at Aaron, then brushed her hair, and then burrowed completely into the quilt...

Following the initial release of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" in the United Kingdom, it soon began its release in North America.

It was released in 2491 theaters in North America, with an opening weekend of $30.52 million!

The film's reputation was also good. Many people considered "Bram Stoker's Dracula" to be the most classic masterpiece of vampire films.

The combination of director Francis Ford Coppola, Gary Oldman, and Winona Ryder gave the film a great boost.

In the evening, Los Angeles, Inglewood, Great Western Forum, NBA 1992-1993 season regular season game, Aaron Anderson and Jack Wells were enjoying the Los Angeles Lakers' home game against the Seattle SuperSonics!

“Did you watch the Dream Team's games at the Barcelona Olympics in July?”

Jack Wells asked Aaron, who was next to him.

Aaron nodded, “Watched it live!”

As Aaron spoke, he stared at the game on the court, thinking about something. Last year, "Magic" Johnson retired due to AIDS, and this offseason, "Larry Bird" also announced his retirement.

The era of the black and white dual heroes was completely over, and Michael Jordan, the King of the League, had already led the Bulls to two consecutive championships!

“Jack, I think I should own a team.”

As Aaron spoke, he deliberately stroked his chin.

Jack Wells was stunned, “Don't tell me you got this idea after seeing Disney and other organizations establish the NHL (National Hockey League) team, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks?”

Disney's establishment of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks was not only to promote Disneyland Anaheim, but also because of a film released by Disney this year, "The Mighty Ducks."

Los Angeles originally had an NHL team, the Los Angeles Kings, located at the Great Western Forum.

Aaron shook his head, “Haven't you noticed? Investing in sports right now is pretty good. The four major North American sports are worth getting into!”

Los Angeles has many teams. The NBA teams include the Lakers and the Clippers, with their home courts at the Great Western Forum and the Memorial Sports Arena, respectively.

The NFL (National Football League) teams also include the Los Angeles Raiders and the Los Angeles Rams, with their home courts at the Memorial Sports Arena and Anaheim's Angel Stadium, respectively.

MBL (Baseball League) also has the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angels, and Disney is also a small shareholder of the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels were able to move to Anaheim thanks to many people.

“These Los Angeles clubs probably won't be sold.”

Jack Wells shook his head, “You must know Donald Sterling, the extremely infamous owner of the Clippers. A cheapskate, a pervert.”

“This guy has already negotiated with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Next year, the home court will be moved from the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena to the Honda Center in Anaheim. The two teams will use the Honda Center together!”

Aaron leaned back in his chair, “If we can't manage the teams in Los Angeles, we can consider other big cities.”

Commercial metropolises like Los Angeles are indeed not short of wealthy people.

“Or, should we build our own stadium?”

“Pfft,” Jack Wells almost spat out the cola in his mouth, “Aaron, do you want to play this big?”

“If we can't buy one in Los Angeles, we can buy a team in another city.”

Aaron wrinkled his nose, “Let's see. I'll take some time to meet with Jerry Buss and Donald Sterling to talk and see if they have any possibility of selling their teams?”

As for NFL teams, they are even harder to buy, after all, it's the number one commercial sport in North America!

Relatively speaking, basketball and hockey clubs are easier to acquire. Football and baseball are not so easy to acquire.
