#184 - Somewhat too much
"Oh, by the way, I heard that Dawn and Marvel have signed a Spider-Man licensing agreement. Are you planning to film a live-action 'Spider-Man'?"
Paula Wagner asked suddenly.
Aaron nodded, "I have that idea, that's why I acquired that shell company, 21st Century Films;"
"Specifically, it will have to wait until the script is completed!"
Paula Wagner smiled, "Early on, they hoped Tom could play Spider-Man. We had contact with him."
Aaron raised his eyebrows, "Tom Cruise playing Peter Parker?"
That idea certainly wasn't a problem; Tom Cruise back then definitely fit the bill.
"Warner Bros., on the other hand, seems not too satisfied with the box office of the sequel 'Batman Returns,' right?"
Aaron looked at Paula Wagner. "Batman Returns" was released this summer.
"Indeed, they are not very satisfied. 'Batman Returns' only grossed $260 million worldwide, which is quite a bit less than the first film;"
"Moreover, 'Batman Returns' had a production cost of up to $80 million, plus marketing and distribution costs, the investment was no less than $150 million;"
"Warner Bros. is not satisfied with the performance of 'Batman Returns,' which is expected. Anyway, they are already preparing to replace the director. Tim Burton, the director of the first two films, will serve as producer!"
Paula Wagner certainly knew about this news, after all, Warner Bros. had already begun looking for a new director for the third film.
Aaron actually didn't have much to say. The first "Batman" was very well made, but in the sequel "Batman Returns," director Tim Burton went a bit too far, being overly dark and gloomy.
But if there's a highlight, Michelle Pfeiffer's portrayal of the sexy Catwoman is definitely number one!
"Warner Bros. has also been very impressive this year. Leaving aside 'Batman Returns,' 'Lethal Weapon 3' grossed $320 million worldwide;"
"The action film 'Under Siege' starring Steven Seagal also grossed $150 million worldwide;"
"Especially 'The Bodyguard,' the action film starring Kevin Costner that was released last month. Although the reviews weren't good, the box office is steadily rising."
Aaron wasn't surprised that Warner Bros. valued action films, and he especially paid attention to the action romance film "The Bodyguard" starring Kevin Costner and music diva Whitney Houston.
As of now, "The Bodyguard" has grossed over $75 million in North America, and the overseas market has exceeded $150 million!
Paula Wagner rolled her eyes at Aaron, "Warner Bros. is a huge company, but your Dawn isn't bad at all;"
"The previous box office successes of 'Indecent Proposal' and 'Sleepless in Seattle,' and now you have 'The Crying Game,' 'Scent of a Woman,' and 'Schindler's List' vying for awards for you."
Aaron smiled without saying a word. Who said that works like 'The Crying Game,' 'Scent of a Woman,' and 'Schindler's List' are only for winning awards?
They also have box office revenue, it's just that these types of works fall into the category of art films and require long-term screenings!
The best-performing films during this year's Christmas season should be 20th Century Fox's family comedy "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" and Disney's animated feature "Aladdin";
Both were released in the middle and late of last month. The former, "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," has already grossed $120 million in North America, and the latter, "Aladdin," has also exceeded $80 million!
A little later, Monica Bellucci arrived at the Charlie Hotel and found Aaron.
Monica Bellucci had finished her scenes in "Philadelphia Story" and returned to Los Angeles. She also took a set of promotional photos for "Bram Stoker's Dracula."
Aaron put his arm around her waist, "Not going back to Italy, are you?"
"I'm not going back. Do you want me to be with you for Christmas?"
"Of course," Aaron said, and kissed her on the lips.
When the two arrived at the lounge area, Aaron ran into Robert Downey Jr. and his newlywed model wife, Deborah Falconer;
Robert Downey Jr. had only broken up with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Jessica Parker not long ago, and immediately married his new love, Deborah Falconer.
"Good evening, Aaron!" Robert Downey Jr. took the initiative to greet Aaron.
"Good evening. Your performance in 'Chaplin' was very good."
When Aaron first returned to the United States, it was during the release of "Chaplin." This Charlie Chaplin biopic starring Robert Downey Jr. received considerable praise.
"Thank you. I've always hoped to have the opportunity to work with you."
Aaron smiled, "Perhaps. Please excuse me for a moment!"
Aaron had no desire to cooperate with such a drug addict. Although Johnny Depp and Keanu Reeves were also a mess, at least they were careful when working;
As for Robert Downey Jr., this guy's addiction had already penetrated his bone marrow.
After encountering him once in the bathroom that year, Robert Downey Jr.'s ugliness was imprinted in Aaron's mind!
Monica Bellucci took Aaron's arm and left the hotel together, returning to their residence, "I've seen 'Chaplin' too. Robert Downey Jr.'s performance is indeed very good."
Without a single mistake, one first, one release, one inside, one appearance, one in, one look!
After getting in the car, Aaron told the driver to go directly to the Bel Air villa.
"Robert Downey Jr. has acting skills," Aaron leaned back in his seat, reaching out and stroking the thigh of the beauty, "His performance in 'Chaplin' is still worth affirming;"
"Otherwise, he wouldn't have been nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama!"
"Mmm," Monica Bellucci leaned into Aaron's arms and kissed him on the face.
Aaron then reached into the beauty's bosom, feeling around.
After returning to the Bel Air villa, the two couldn't wait to enter the bathroom, seeing Monica Bellucci take off her underwear, revealing her sexy and voluptuous body!
Aaron, however, thought of another thing, which was that there was still no news about the Franklin Templeton Investments fund acquiring the Victoria's Secret lingerie brand.
Charles B. Johnson, the head of the Franklin Templeton Investments Group, didn't know how his talks with Les Wexner, the owner of Limited Brands, were going. After all, the Victoria's Secret lingerie brand under Limited Brands had extremely broad prospects.
It seemed that he had to take some time to meet this Les Wexner!
"Mmm," as the hot water from the shower sprinkled down, Monica Bellucci hugged Aaron and offered a passionate kiss;
Feeling the beauty's 36D figure, Aaron also responded passionately.
"Aaron, I have to go back to Italy to shoot the cover of 'Vogue' fashion magazine for the New Year!"
After the kiss ended, Monica Bellucci reminded him.
"It doesn't matter, you're living in Hollywood now anyway," Aaron said, smoothing her wet hair!
