Homo sapiens
Chapter 52 Influence
April 28, 2019.
Huge amounts of money.
Tight management.
Gradually improving the industrial chain.
Coupled with the powerful technology of Homo sapiens.
Cities in southern Luzon have begun to see significant changes, and this change is not only reflected in the income of residents, but more importantly, in the improvement of spirit.
Engineering projects such as building roads, housing, and bridges are attracting local labor force, causing cities and rural areas that already have a labor surplus to absorb a large amount of labor force.
If income only increases, it will actually be of little use to the local economy, because money must be able to buy things to reflect its value.
For example, in the Lingnan province of China, why is it that Chaoshan area receives a large amount of money through overseas remittances every year, but it is difficult to improve the living standards of local people?
The reason is that the things money can buy have not increased.
Assuming that the locally produced materials are 10,000 tons and the total amount of funds held by residents is 100 million yuan, then the average price of the materials is 10 yuan per kilogram;
But when the total amount of funds held by residents reaches 300 million yuan, but the locally produced materials are still 10,000 tons, the average price of the materials will naturally become 30 yuan per kilogram.
This is "remittance-based inflation."
There are only two ways to solve this special kind of inflation. One is to increase the local production of materials, and the other is to increase the import of materials.
After the rise of Internet shopping, the Chaoshan area reluctantly used online shopping to alleviate some of the shortage of local supplies, resulting in high prices.
In the southern region of Luzon, a two-pronged approach is being adopted at this time.
While Fenghuo Home is expanding the import of materials, it is also working with Haitian Agriculture to increase local material production. Coupled with the improvement of infrastructure, the losses in transportation and warehousing have been greatly reduced.
For example, the mangosteens previously sold in Fengrao Supermarket had poor transportation roads and the preservation technology could not keep up. Even the mangosteens produced in surrounding areas were still very expensive.
Nowadays, roads have been widened and extended to various towns and villages. This infrastructure upgrade has brought about a reduction in transportation costs.
Of course, Coral Construction Company will not engage in loss-making business. These new roads are all toll roads. Unless the vehicles are from brother companies, they will pay tolls obediently.
The Homo sapiens company has invested in so many roads, not for everyone to use for free. Otherwise, other competitors can also use these infrastructures for free. Wouldn't that be subsidizing the enemy?
Lima Sur.
A gas filling station in the suburbs.
Many people were waiting in line, but there was something unusual about the gas station today as employees from Emerald Energy were selling new gas bottles and gas stoves to customers.
Lu Min, who runs a Chinese restaurant in the city and has to pay a lot of gas every month, was confused as he held the flyer.
If he switched to methane gas, it would indeed be cheaper than gas, but he would have to replace the gas stove and gas cylinder, which made him hesitate.
However, Limanan's economy has developed rapidly recently, and the customer flow of his Chinese restaurant has increased by nearly 20 to 30%, so the gas consumption has naturally increased. After thinking about it for more than ten minutes, he finally made up his mind.
According to Jade Energy, the price of methane gas is only about 60% of that of coal gas for the same amount of heat. If he is worried about price increases, he can sign a long-term gas supply contract.
Lu Min signed a one-year contract, and then the staff followed him back to the restaurant to modify the gas stove with gas bottles and gas stoves.
The people who made the same choice as Lu Min were those who were big consumers of gas, such as restaurants, small workshops, slaughterhouses, food stores, etc.
When Lu Min's local wife heard that a new gas stove was to be replaced, she cursed angrily, but the contract had already been signed, so she could only hold her nose and accept it.
The staff installed the gas stove, and after turning on the gas valve switch, a light blue flame emerged from the stove head. Only then did he explain carefully:
"Boss Lu, the methane gas stove and gas cylinder are specially equipped. Don't pick them up casually. In addition, if the gas cylinder is lost, a brand new 30 kilogram gas cylinder will cost 1,200 pesos."
"What gas cylinder? Why is it so expensive? Your company is not cheating, right?" Lu Min's wife immediately questioned.
The staff was not angry, but shrugged and said with a smile: "Methane gas is different from coal gas. Ordinary gas bottles cannot hold much methane."
Methane gas bottles are indeed different from ordinary gas bottles, because methane is difficult to compress into a liquid state at room temperature. If you insist on filling methane into a gas bottle, you will end up filling it with gaseous methane or exploding the gas bottle. .
The methane cylinder developed by Jade Energy uses crystal sponge as the inner tank, plus a sound and shock insulation layer and steel shell, as well as an internal sound wave generator, so that the gas storage tank can continuously release the stored methane.
The sound wave generator can use dry batteries or be plugged in, and its energy consumption is very low.
The safety of this kind of gas cylinder is very high. If the sound wave generator is not started, even if the valve of the gas stove is opened, the gas cylinder will not deflate. You need to press the switch of the sound wave generator to release methane.
Even if an accident occurs and a deflagration or explosion occurs, the temperature sensor of this gas cylinder will automatically cut off the sound wave generator once it senses that the temperature of the cylinder exceeds the warning value, preventing the continued release of methane.
This is also the reason why the price of methane cylinders is relatively high.
Jade Energy is promoting methane gas in major cities, naturally because methane plants have been put into operation. Currently, 3 methane plants have been put into operation, and 7 more methane plants are under construction.
One of the methane plants is located near Lima South City. Its annual methane output is about 40 million to 50 million cubic meters, and there is still room for further upgrading and transformation.
The raw materials for methane plants are domestic garbage, waste plastics, dead branches and leaves, waste residues and liquids from food factories, starch and sugar.
Generally speaking, starch and sugar will not be used as raw materials for gas production.
Instead, dead branches and leaves from plantations, waste residues and liquids from food processing, and organic waste in daily life are the main raw materials for methane plants.
For example, the Liman South methane plant currently uses 12 to 16% of the raw materials for gas production as domestic organic waste, 5 to 8% of discarded plastics, 21 to 30% of waste residues and liquids from production companies, 35 to 50% of dead branches and leaves from plantations, 10 to 15% of the grass and branches are pruned in the forest farm.
Basically, the fermentation tanks of methane plants are operating at full capacity, and even if the methane produced cannot be sold, it can be stored.
Of course, if the raw materials are sufficient, the wood and plastic in the garbage will not be used to ferment methane, but will be used as reserve raw materials.
Starch and sugar are raw materials that are used only in emergencies and as a last resort.
Currently, by replacing coal gas with methane, Jade Energy's gas production costs have dropped by about 86%. In the past, coal was imported from Australia to make gas, but now coal imports can be gradually reduced.
However, since the price of coal is still relatively cheap, Jade Energy has not stopped importing, but will use the remaining coal to reserve it in several small coal mines near the port.
As long as the price is right for things like resources, of course we should use imported ones.
Anyway, coal never expires, and U.S. knives are often used up, so it is safer to turn U.S. knives into resources and hoard them.
Keeping a lot of beautiful knives is the real advantage.
If a conflict breaks out with America, a ban from the other party will make it impossible to use the sword in your hand.
What is the difference between unused money and waste paper? Even worse than waste paper, waste paper can also be recycled.
