Honghuang: Starting with Emperor Jun Taiyi, Shinto becomes a saint

Chapter 22: Comparison of Saint and Hunyuan Combat Power, Heavenly Dao Merit Refining Star Crow Gold

Isn’t merit a panacea? Are merits useless except for sanctification?

Neither is this.

Heavenly merits are given to you by Heaven, and can be considered as Heaven's favor and reward for you.

As explained in the previous chapter, a saint is a karma and a position.

To become a saint, you must have merit, that is, you must gain the favor and recognition of the big boss of heaven and earth.

If heaven and earth recognize you and have a good impression of you, then they will naturally give you enough permission and even open a back door for you.

Although this permission does not allow you to directly improve your understanding of the laws and avenues,

But the way of heaven can go directly to the situation. While accepting your demands, it can adjust the law and the avenue to operate according to your demands.

On the surface, it seems that the laws and avenues are obeying your words and operating according to your ideas.

Saints who have not reached the Hunyuan realm and living beings who have reached the Hunyuan realm but have not ascended the holy throne can use laws and great ways to fight.

If the level of the Saint and the level of Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian are equal, regardless of the factors of Lingbao, their fight seems to be back and forth, and they are on par.

But the difference is still huge.

You can become a saint directly without realizing the Tao of Hunyuan. Although you have not fully understood it, the laws and great ways will obey your words.

You don't need to spend mana, just a thought, and everything will be done for you.

The higher the level of your saint, the more laws of operation and regulation, the greater your contribution to the operation of heaven and earth, the greater the permission of heaven and the smoother the communication with heaven.

The shorter the communication delay time between the saint, the way of heaven and the invoked law and avenue, the more and faster the invocation of the law and the rhyme of the law will be.

The saint seems to have a higher control over the law, the more skillful he is in applying it, the deeper his Taoism, and the higher his realm.

But this is just a look.

Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian, who does not have the status of a saint, has fully understood the laws and great ways on his own, and used them to his own advantage.

But this requires spending your own mana to communicate, sort out, and adjust the laws and avenues.

The Heavenly Saints had infinite mana in the ancient times, and could consume the Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian to death, whose real realm was even higher than their non-saint powers.

In fact, it's not that their magic power is really infinite, it's because they control the laws and avenues in heaven and earth and don't use magic power at all.

But if there is a battle between two saints, it depends on their respective saint levels and heavenly permission.

We are all saints, and our duties are slightly different, but they are all on the same level, and their favorability in heaven and earth is the same.

You let the law hit me, and I let the law hit you, but the law was confused in the middle.

Therefore, when saints fight among themselves, they are unwilling to use their favorability and the permission of heaven to fight against the enemy with laws and avenues that they have not fully understood.

In this way, if it is not a life and death battle, the outcome can only be determined by one's true realm and spiritual treasure.

Not only do everyone have their souls entrusted to Heaven, but they are also the most favored by the laws and great ways of Heaven.

Under mutual interference, naturally they are unable to use the laws and avenues that they are not good at to fight against the enemy.

My level is not as high as yours, my spirit treasure is not as good as yours, and I cannot beat you.

You can just hit me in the face with Lingbao and knock me over.

If it’s a life-and-death battle, and I’m ready to destroy my Taoist body, how can the surrounding laws and avenues turn a blind eye and continue to laugh at me?

You and I are equal in level and have the same permissions.

These laws and the great road are in a dilemma. Stay neutral. If you don't listen to me, you can fight me.

But when your spiritual treasure wants to destroy my Taoist body,

They will never allow it unless they are disturbed!

Therefore, it is said that saints are immortal.

Most of the battles between saints are superficial battles.

The fight between saints is shocking to watch,

But at best, it can only knock the opponent off his feet and make him look red in the face.

As long as you don't isolate me from the way of heaven,

As long as you can't cut off my connection with the law of heaven and earth,

Fighting back and forth means losing some face.

If I find the opportunity, I will turn your disciples, disciples, grandchildren, seven aunts and eight aunts into ashes, so you can only worry.

Because of this, Di Jun wanted his brother Taiyi to become a saint so much.

However, although the merit obtained this time was large, the quality was too low.

It would be okay if it were replaced by the merits of the Great Dao, but now it is the merits of the Heavenly Dao, which is not enough for a person to become a saint.

The so-called infusing the body with merit and improving one's state of mind has just been analyzed, but it is impossible.

Then use it to refine the spiritual treasure of merit?

In his hand, Emperor Jun held the Hongmeng Heavenly Ruler, the most precious treasure of merit refined by the Great God Pangu with the merits of Yi Cheng Dao.

Although it is inferior to the Xuanhuang Exquisite Pagoda of Heaven and Earth, it still ranks second among the ancients together with Zhutian Qingyun.

This little merit now, whether in quality or quantity, is not as good as all the merit contained in Hongmeng's Heavenly Measurement Ruler.

Emperor Jun himself naturally does not need to refine any meritorious spiritual treasures to protect himself.

How about refining a spiritual treasure of merit and virtue for my brother Taiyi?

The Chaos Bell that he carries that integrates offense and defense, these merits are difficult to match even if he can cultivate a treasure of acquired merits.

So there is no need to take off your pants and fart, and waste your energy refining some kind of golden wheel of merit and virtue, and hang it on the back of your head as a decoration.

Thinking about it this way, it is a pity to throw away such a small amount of merit!

Thinking of this, Di Jun did admit that his vision was indeed too small and his structure was indeed a bit low.

Otherwise, he is really like a small ruler, with his small eyes squinting, his eyelids half-lidded, and saying with a look of disgust: Such a small amount of merit is thin and sparse, and the quality is not very good. I squinted and couldn't even see it, so I didn't bother to collect it.

Let all these heavenly virtues be lost? What's the point of using these heavenly merits to pretend properly?

Di Jun hasn't made up his mind yet on what to do.

After thinking about it, I could only ask Chaos Clock to see if he could temporarily save his merits for future emergencies.

At this time, Chaos Bell Xuying wanted to suppress the starry sky and ensure that the newly established Zhoutian Starry Formation passed the running-in period.

Most of the energy is taken up.

Zhong Ling was being questioned by Di Jun again, and was using his remaining abilities, preparing to show off his skills to put away this useless merit of heaven.

Over there, Taiyi was busy at both ends of the Chaos Clock, and he accidentally forgot to block the timing of his beak.

A sentence came from the bell jar: "It would be a pity to throw away so much merit, but it would be great to keep it and cut two pairs of clothes!"

In this way, according to the words of Taiyi, the way of heaven

To the confused Di Jun and Tai Yi who couldn’t stop laughing,

Each put on a shiny golden body-hugging bird sweater...

Di Jun, who came back to his senses, looked at the Chaos Clock on the opposite side, which had long since put away its phantom and shivered on the bird's beak.

With the trembling little Zhongzi and Taiyi who kept nodding and shaking his head,

Look at yourself again, full of vulgarity,

At this time, I was thinking: This is already shining with gold, do I still need to paint it in the sun?
