One thing I've been struggling with for the past few days is that I'm trying to integrate the apartment into the story as well as possible, but it doesn't seem to be working out that well.

Now I feel more and more that there are a lot of flaws in setting this story in the same worldview as The Apartment. The ending of the previous book was too hasty, which made it a bit difficult to connect the two books. So I struggled with it for the past few days and decided The characters in the apartment are not allowed to appear in the ninth volume (the original plan was to let Hei Dongxie and Ziye appear), but I found that no matter how they appear, it will be very inconsistent.
