HP Approaches the Magic World
Chapter 432 Dumbledore is never angry
"Don't be so nervous. At least for now, it seems that the problems of Muggle society and the troubles caused by previous war preparations have been solved.
However, even with the size of the Ministry of Magic, it is not easy to digest the series of complications caused by this big problem, at least it will take some time."
On the eighth floor of the castle, in the corridor outside the principal's room, Peeves, who came out early to greet Jon, whispered.
"Then, Dumbledore must not have been very relaxed and happy during this period of time."
Jon's mood was the same. When he went to Fairy Castle to find a place to solve his psychological problems, he told Peeves about this matter. With the arrival of Seshatri, there is definitely no way to hide some things.
So he simply asked Peeves to tell Dumbledore the matter directly.
But at that time, there were still a lot of problems outside that had not been dealt with. Dumbledore didn't stay at the school much, and he probably didn't take it seriously. But it's different now. This point has been revealed to Peeves since he came back.
This was evident in asking Jon to come to his office immediately.
Taking a few deep breaths outside the principal's room, Jon followed Peeves over the stone statue and up the steps.
Then he knocked on the office door.
"Oh? Is it finally here?"
Dumbledore's voice came out: "Then just come in."
Jon pushed open the door and found that besides Dumbledore, there was another person in the office.
…
…
If it weren't for the smoke from burning tobacco floating in the office, Jon would have almost thought that this person was Grindelwald.
It's not because of anything else, just because the black robe is too opposite.
Sitting on the small sofa next to Dumbledore's office was a man wearing a black cotton robe and a cloak. He looked dusty, as if he had just traveled thousands of miles.
There was a cigar burning in his hand, and his entire face was wiped out. It looked like just a mist. It seemed that the two of them were talking about something before Jon came in.
In Jon's sight and in the feedback from his glasses, the magical elements around that person were as calm as stagnant water, as if they had all been swallowed up by the black on the robe.
The next moment Jon came in, the cigar in his fingers burned out, and he stood up from the sofa.
"Now that the matter is over, I should leave."
He stood up to say goodbye, not seeing Jon standing aside at all.
Naturally, Dumbledore tried to persuade him to stay: "What are you doing in such a hurry? Why don't you stay a little longer? It's not too late to leave in two days."
"This trip is a long one, and to put it bluntly, it is a chore after all. The sooner we set off, the sooner we can get home.
Besides, my purpose of coming to the college has been achieved, and your guarantee, principal, is enough. It would not be a good thing to stay any longer, so I won’t stay here."
The man in black shook his head and refused. Since he couldn't stay, Dumbledore had no choice but to get up and see the guest off.
This person is very strange, like a ghost. He makes no sound when he walks, as if he is drifting.
When he was going out, this man passed by Jon. At that moment, Jon clearly felt that under the fog on that man's face, a line of sight swept across his face, with a chilling look.
Meaningful.
"Who was that just now?"
After confirming that the person really had to leave, Jon opened his mouth and asked.
"Did you see his face clearly?"
Dumbledore did not answer, but asked a question.
Jon shook his head.
He actually wanted to say that he had seen clearly, but there was really no point in lying about this kind of thing. If Dumbledore was willing to tell him, he would naturally tell him.
"Since I don't want to reveal my identity in front of you, then of course it's a secret, and I can't tell you."
Dumbledore just didn't want to say this, and Jon didn't care either.
If you don't say it, don't say it. It's not a big deal.
Dumbledore felt the same way. He asked Jon to sit down and took out some food.
"Watermelon juice? Or sweet lemonade? If you don't like it, I also have a little 'syrup' specially prepared by Snape. Maybe you will like it."
There was nothing in Dumbledore's place that wasn't sweet, so Jon naturally had no choice but to refuse.
"Thank you, forget it."
He took out some tea leaves from the ring and put it in the matching cup. He also got some water from the kettle on Dumbledore's table and boiled it with magic power. This was considered as the cup of tea had been brewed.
Although it was a bit troublesome to support himself, Jon didn't intend to finish his words in a short while.
Now that he is here, he is ready to fight a protracted war.
"Speaking of which, you have been waiting for me for a long time. Peeves said that you have been very busy recently."
Dumbledore looked at Jon, hoping to hear something good from Jon.
Jon drank tea slowly, looking very calm on the outside, but actually he was panicking inside.
Mentioning Grindelwald in front of Dumbledore was as difficult as plucking the hair from a tiger's face.
"This matter, if we talk about it seriously, is quite embarrassing."
There wasn't much in the cup of tea, and he drank it quickly, so he had to speak.
"..."
Dumbledore remained silent, drank the watermelon juice in front of him, and then used magic to remove the traces on his beard before he raised his head to face Jon.
It was as if he was going to some battlefield. Jon vaguely felt that if Dumbledore had the Elder Wand, he would probably change him to some deserted place if he disagreed with him.
"Okay, let's talk. I promise I won't be angry at anything you say."
Dumbledore's assurance more or less reassured Jon. As the saying goes, he had to finish his words quickly. The manuscript he had been writing for so long before coming came into play at this moment. He thought about Grindelwald.
He said quickly about his relationship with him and the deal between Helga and Grindelwald.
"Grindelwald has left Nurmengard Tower. He wants to see you, tonight."
He spoke very fast, as if the sounds were burning his mouth, and he poured them out like beans.
However, Dumbledore remained calm.
He repeated Jon's words at a slower pace, and then looked at Jon.
That look was clearly asking.
--That's it?
Jon didn't want to worry about what Dumbledore's eyes meant. Since Dumbledore wasn't angry, he could say something else.
"So, you're not angry? Are you?"
