HP Approaches the Magic World
Chapter eight hundred and fortieth chapter good show begins
Under the starry night sky, Harry dragged Dumbledore to the top of the giant pebble nearest them and helped him stand up.
Dumbledore was now soaked and shivering, and the weight of his body was still pressing on Harry.
Harry's whole body was focused on his destination: Hogsmeade.
He closed his eyes, held Dumbledore's arm tightly, and suddenly stepped into the terrifying squeezing feeling.
Before he even opened his eyes, he knew he had succeeded, because the sea breeze and sea smell had disappeared.
He and Dumbledore stood on the dark road in Hogsmeade, shivering all over and dripping from their clothes.
In a daze, Harry seemed to see another Inferi emerging from some shops and approaching him step by step, but when he blinked, he found no movement.
It was quiet all around, and the night was very dark. Only a few street lamps and a few lighted windows upstairs were visible.
"We did it, Professor!"
Harry found that his chest was burning: "We succeeded! We got the Horcrux!"
Dumbledore staggered into him.
At first, Harry thought it was because of his lack of skill in Apparition that Dumbledore lost his balance. Then he saw Dumbledore's face. Under the reflection of a street lamp in the distance, this face looked more beautiful than ever.
They were all pale and lifeless.
"Sir, are you okay?"
"It's not as good as before," Dumbledore said weakly. His power was completely consumed. The concrete manifestation was that the corners of his mouth were twitching at this moment: "That potion... is not a healthy drink..."
To Harry's great horror, Dumbledore suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"Sir - it's okay, sir, you will be fine soon, don't worry -"
He looked around anxiously, looking for someone to help, but there was no one in sight. He only knew that he had to find a way to send Dumbledore to the school hospital as soon as possible.
"We need to get you to school, sir...I'll take you to Madam Pomfrey..."
"No, what I need...is Professor Snape...but I don't think...I can go far..."
"Okay - sir, listen to me - I'm going to knock on a door and find a place for you to stay - and then I can run to find Pomfrey -"
"Severus," Dumbledore said clearly, "I need Severus..."
However, before Harry could move, he heard running footsteps.
Someone saw it, someone knew they needed help - he turned around and saw Mrs. Rosmerta running towards them along the dark street, wearing plush high-heeled slippers and a silk morning gown embroidered with fire dragons.
Clothes.
"When I closed the bedroom curtains just now, I saw you Apparating!
Thank God, I really don't know what to--well, what's wrong with Albus?"
She stopped, widened her eyes, and looked down at Dumbledore.
"he got hurt."
Harry said: "Mrs. Rosmerta, can you let him stay in the Three Broomsticks for a while while I find someone at the school to help?"
"You can't go back alone! Didn't you notice—didn't you see?"
"Please help me support him,"
Harry didn't listen to her and said to himself: "I think we can get him in -"
"What happened?" Dumbledore asked weakly: "Rosmerta, what happened?"
"Black—the Dark Mark, Albus."
She raised her finger and pointed at the sky in the direction of Hogwarts.
When Harry heard these words, his heart was filled with fear...
He turned his eyes and saw that it was indeed there, hanging over the school - it was a dazzling green skeleton, under the dark sky, with a snake-like tongue sticking out of the skull's mouth.
He was too familiar with this kind of thing, because whenever Death Eaters broke into a building... no matter where they killed someone... they would leave such a mark...
"When did it appear?"
Dumbledore struggled to stand up, his hands gripping Harry's shoulders painfully.
"It must have been a few minutes ago. The cat wasn't there when I let it out, but when I got upstairs-"
"We need to get back to the castle immediately."
Dumbledore stood a little firmer. Although his steps were still a little staggering, he seemed to be able to take the initiative to control the situation.
"Romerstadt, we need transportation—a broomstick—"
"I have two behind the bar," Mrs. Rosmerta said with a very frightened look on her face: "Do you want me to run and get them?"
"No, Harry can do it."
Harry understood immediately and raised his wand and pointed it at the bar.
"Rosmerta's broom is coming!"
A second later, they heard a loud bang and the front door of the bar was knocked open.
The two broomsticks swooped into the street, rushing to Harry's side, and then suddenly stopped at waist height, trembling slightly.
"Rosmerta, please send a message to the Ministry of Magic."
Dumbledore said, riding on the broom closest to him: "Maybe people inside Hogwarts don't know that something has happened... Harry, put on your invisibility cloak."
Harry took out the Invisibility Cloak from his pocket and put it on his body, then got on his broomstick.
When Harry and Dumbledore kicked off the ground and flew into the air, Mrs. Rosmerta had already stumbled towards her pub.
The two broomsticks flew towards the castle quickly. Harry glanced sideways at Dumbledore, wanting to help him if he fell. Unexpectedly, the appearance of the Dark Mark seemed to give Dumbledore a shot.
cardiac:
He leaned over the broom, his eyes fixed on the Dark Mark, and his long silver-white hair and beard were floating in the night sky behind him.
Harry also looked at the skeleton. Fear was expanding like a poisonous bubble, squeezing his lungs. He had no time to think about other discomforts...
How long have they been gone?
Has Ron, Hermione and Ginny's luck run out?
Could it be that one of them caused the Dark Mark to appear over the school?
Or Neville, Luna, or some other member of the D.A.?
If that's the case...
He was the one who asked them to patrol the corridors, he was the one who asked them to leave the safety of their beds...
Could it be that he is responsible for the death of a friend again?
They flew through the dark, winding alleys they had walked through before. The evening wind whistled past Harry's ears. Beyond the sound, he heard Dumbledore whispering in some strange language again.
What are you talking about.
His broom trembled for a moment as they flew over the wall and into the grounds, and Harry knew why:
Dumbledore was undoing the magic he had placed around the castle so that they could quickly enter the school.
The Dark Mark is currently flashing over the Astronomy Tower, the commanding height of the castle.
Does this mean death happens there?
