HP Approaches the Magical World

Chapter 749: Fighting (Part 1)

"HP Approaches the Magic World ()"

"So he sent you to do this dirty work for him, didn't he?"

Harry said, "Like he wants Sturgis to steal the prophecy ball - and Bird?"

"That's right, Potter, that's right."

Malfoy said slowly,

"But the Dark Lord knows you're not foolish enough to—"

"Go!" Harry yelled.

Five different voices yelled behind him: "Bones to pieces!"

Five spells flew in five different directions in an instant, the oncoming shelf was hit, and then exploded, the towering shelf wobbled, hundreds of glass balls shattered,

Pearly white figures loomed in the air, their voices echoing in a never-before-seen rain of broken glass and sawdust on the floor—

"Run!"

Harry yelled, and the shelf crumbled, and more glass balls started falling from it.

He grabbed Hermione's robes and dragged them forward, his other arm covering his head, and chunks of broken shelves, and tiny shards of glass, fell on them with a boom and clatter.

A Death Eater leaped forward through the dust cloud, and Harry elbowed him hard into his masked face;

The cries of pain, the roar of the shelf collapsing and bursting, and the intermittent voices of the prophets released from the glass ball rang together strangely——

Harry saw nothing in the way ahead, and saw Ron, Ginny, and Luna sprint past him with their arms over their heads;

Something smacked him hard in the side from the side, but he just jerked his head down and rushed forward;

A hand grabbed his shoulder, and Hermione yelled, "Swoon!"

The hand was released immediately—they came to the other end of the 97th row;

Harry turned to the right, and began to run at full speed;

He could hear footsteps behind him and Hermione urging Neville;

Directly ahead, a door was ajar through which they had entered, and Harry could see the glint of light in the glass bell;

He lunged out the door, waiting for the others to quickly cross the threshold before slamming the door shut, the ball of prophecy still intact in his hand.

"Quickly imprison!"

Hermione read out of breath, and the door made a strange creaking sound and was sealed.

"Where are they—where are they?"

Harry asked breathlessly.

He thought Ron, Luna, and Ginny were running ahead of them and would be waiting for them in this room, but there was no one here.

"They must be going the wrong way!" whispered Hermione with a look of panic on her face.

"Listen!" Neville whispered.

The sound of chaotic footsteps and loud shouts came from behind the just closed door;

Harry put his ear to the door and heard Malflusius yelling:

"Never mind Nott, never mind him, I say—his injuries are nothing to the Dark Lord compared to missing a prophecy ball.

Gagson, come back here, we need to organize!

Everyone in pairs, search separately, remember, don't be rude to Bo before you get the prophecy ball,

Everyone else can be killed if need be.

Bellatrix, Rudolph, you go to the left;

Crabbe, Rabustan, go to the right,

Gagson, Dolokhov, go to the front door.

McNeill, and Avery here,

Rookwood, go over there.

— Mulciber, come with me! "

"what should we do?"

Hermione asked Harry, shivering all over.

"Well, we can't just sit here and wait for them to find us."

Harry said, "First, get out of this door."

Passing as lightly as they could past the shimmering bell-glass in which the tiny eggs hatched the birds, they ran to the other end of the room where the door opened into the circular hall.

When we are about to run,

Harry heard something huge and heavy banging against the door that Hermione had just charmed shut.

"Get out of the way!"

A voice shouted roughly, "Alahoo hole!"

The door flung open, and Harry, Hermione, and Neville ducked under the table.

They could see the hems of the robes of the two Death Eaters getting closer on the floor, and they were walking quickly.

"They may have run straight into the hall."

said the gruff voice.

"Check under the table."

Harry saw their knees buckle, and he stuck his wand under the table and yelled, "Swoon!"

A red light struck the nearest Death Eater, who fell backwards into a grandfather clock, knocking it over;

But another Death Eater jumped aside to dodge Harry's spell, pointing his wand at Hermione, who was crawling out from under the table to get a better aim.

"Avada—"

Harry jumped across the floor, throwing his whole body around his knees, knocking him over, his wand missing.

In a hurry to help, Neville knocked over the table; frantically, he pointed his wand at the two wrestling people and shouted, "Disarm!"

The wands of Harry and the Death Eater were thrown out of their hands immediately, and they flew towards the entrance leading to the hall of prophecy;

They both scrambled to their feet and ran after their wands, the Death Eater first, Harry behind.

Neville froze behind, obviously stunned by what he had just done.

"Get out of the way, Harry!"

Neville shouted again, obviously to make up for the mistake just now.

Harry stepped aside quickly as he took aim and spelled again.

"Damned!"

The red light skimmed over the Death Eater's shoulder and hit a closet with a glass front door on a wall covered in assorted hourglasses.

The closet fell to the floor, shattered, and the glass flew everywhere, and then the closet bounced back to the wall, intact, and then fell again, shattered.

— the Death Eater's wand lay on the floor beside the gleaming cloche, and he grabbed it.

When he turned, Harry crouched hastily behind another table, his visor slid down over his eyes.

So he tore off the mask with his free hand, yelling, "Dizzy—"

"Damned!"

Hermione had caught up to them, shouting at the top of her voice, and a red light hit the Death Eater's chest. He froze, arms still raised, his wand fell to the ground with a clatter, and fell towards the glass bell behind him. He fell on his back.

Harry thought he would bang against the solid glass and slide down the glass bell to the floor.

However, his head sank through the bell jar as if it were nothing but a soap bubble, and then he became motionless, sprawled on the table, his head sunk in the flashing air of the bell jar inside.

"The wand is coming!"

cried Hermione as Harry's wand flew into her hand from a dark corner, and she tossed it to Harry.

"Thanks," said Harry, "well, let's get out of this—"
