Vol 2 Chapter 1025: Snape's past
Sitting in the seat, James yawned greatly and kneaded his head to make it messier than before.
Then, after glancing at Professor Flitwick, he turned around in his seat and grinned at a boy sitting in the fourth row behind him. With another shock of excitement, Harry saw Sirius giving James a thumbs up.
Sirius sat lazily in the chair, leaning back so that the chair fell on only two legs. He was born very good-looking; his black head hung down to cover his eyes with a somewhat casual elegance, which neither James nor Harry could achieve. A girl sitting behind Sirius stared hopefully. He, although he didn't seem to notice at all. And two seats away from this girl—Harry's heart was beating with joy—it was Lupin sitting. He looks quite pale and haggard (is it because it is almost full moon?)
Lu Ping was completely absorbed in the exam: when he checked the answers, he scratched his chin with the tip of a quill and frowned slightly.
So this meant that Wormtail must be somewhere nearby..., yes, Harry recognized him all at once: the little boy with a mouse-like head and a pointed nose.
Wormtail looked very worried; he bit his fingernails, stared down at the test paper, and rubbed his toes on the ground. Every once in a while, I glanced hopefully at the test paper at the next table.
Harry stared at Wormtail for a while, then turned his eyes to James, who was now scribbling time on a small piece of parchment. He has drawn a snitch and is now drawing two letters: ".".
What does this mean?
"Please put down the pen!" Professor Flitwick screamed, "including you, Stabbins! Please stay in your seat while I collect the test papers! Flying around!"
More than a hundred rolls of parchment suddenly rose into the air and flew into Professor Flitwick's outstretched arms, knocking him backward and sitting on the ground. Someone laughed. Several students in the front row stood up and helped Professor Flitwick up from the ground with his elbows.
"Thank you..., thank you." Professor Flitwick gasped and said, "Very well, everyone, you can go now!"
Harry looked down at his father, who hurriedly dropped the letter he had just modified, jumped up from his seat, stuffed the quill and exam paper into his bag, flicked it on his shoulder, and stood there waiting for Sirius. Come and meet him. Harry looked around and caught a glimpse of Snape not far away, moving between the tables to the door leading to the porch while still watching his exam papers.
He stooped a little, his movements were stiff, he walked as if convulsing, reminiscent of a big spider, his greasy head beating on his face. A group of chirping girls separated Snape from James, Sirius, and Lupin. Harry let himself walk among them, determined to keep Snape within sight, while also raising his ears to catch James carefully. The voices of Mu and his friends.
"Do you like question ten, moon face?" Sirius asked as they entered the porch.
"True love is dead," Lu Ping said enthusiastically, "Write down the five distinguishing signs of werewolves. Good topic."
"Do you think you can write all those signs?" James asked pretendingly.
"I think I will do it," Lupin said seriously, when they joined the crowd around the front door, eager to go to the sunny field outside. "One: he is sitting in my chair. Two: he I am wearing my clothes. Three: His name is Lupin."
Wormtail was the only one who didn't smile.
"I answered the shape of a pig's mouth, the pupils of the eyes and the tails in clusters," he said worriedly, "but I can't think of the other two—"
"How stupid are you, Wormtail?" James said impatiently. "You run around with a werewolf once a month—"
"Speak down," Lupin begged.
Harry looked back nervously again. Snape stayed nearby, still looking at his exam papers-but this was Snape's memory, and Harry was sure that if Snape chose to walk in the opposite direction once he got out on the field, he, Harry, can't follow James anymore.
When James and his three friends walked along the lawn to the lake, Snape followed behind, still buried in the test paper, and apparently didn’t make up his mind where to go. Anyway, it made Harry deep. Happy.
Harry kept a certain distance in front of Snape, determined to look at James and the others up close.
"Oh, I think this exam is a piece of cake," he heard Sirius say, "I can at least get an ‘excellent’. It would be strange if not."
"Me too." James said. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a struggling Golden Snitch.
"Where did you get it?"
"Stolen." James said casually. He started to play with the Snitch, let it fly at least a foot away before catching it back; his reaction ability was excellent.
Wormtail watched in awe.
They stopped in the shadow of a beech tree by the lake. It was under this tree. After finishing their homework on Sunday, Fanlin and several people would let themselves fall on the lawn to enjoy the sun, and then go to Hagrid. Cabins.
Harry looked back again, and to his delight, he saw Snape sitting in the thick shadow of a bush.
He was still meditating on the average wizard level exam paper just like before, so Harry could sit comfortably on the grass between the beech trees and the bushes, looking at the group of four under the tree.
The sun reflected dazzling light on the calm lake. A group of girls who had just come out of the lobby sat by the lake. They talked and laughed, took off their shoes and socks, and soaked their feet in the water to cool off.
Lupin pulled out a book to start reading. Sirius was just staring at the students running around on the grass. He looked quite arrogant and boring, but he also looked very handsome.
James was still playing with the Golden Snitch. He let it go farther and farther, almost let it escape, but he could always catch it back at the last second.
Wormtail opened his mouth and looked at it. Whenever James made a very difficult capture, Wormtail panted and clapped.
After playing like this for five minutes, Harry wanted to know why James didn't let Wormtail catch it by himself, but it seemed that James enjoyed this feeling of being noticed.
Harry noticed that his father still had the habit of messing up his head, as if he didn't want to make his head look too neat, and he kept looking at the **** the other side of the lake.
"Stop for a while, okay," Sirius finally spoke after James made a perfect catch and Wormtail gave a loud cheer, "Or Wormtail is so excited to pee his pants."
Wormtail blushed slightly, but James grinned.
"If this upsets you." He said and stuffed the Snitch back into his pocket. Harry had a distinct feeling: Sirius was the only one who could stop James from showing off.
"I'm bored," Sirius said, "I hope today is a full moon."
"You will," Lupin said gloomily from the back of the book. "We still have Transfiguration to test. If you feel bored, you can come and test me. Here you..."
He handed his book to Sirius. But Sirius snorted from his nose: "I don't need to look at the trash, I know all about it."
"That will make you active, Bigfoot," James said quietly, "Look who it is..."
Sirius turned his head. He was suddenly motionless, like a dog smelling a rabbit. "Excellent," he said softly, "slug Snape."
Harry turned to see what Sirius was looking at. Snape stood up again, stuffing the ordinary wizard grade test paper into his bag. When he left the shadow of the bushes and was about to cross the lawn, Sirius and James stood up.
Lupin and Wormtail sat motionless: Lupin still stared down at his book, but his eyes did not move at all, and there was a shallow wrinkle on the tip of his eyebrows; Wormtail’s gaze alternated from Sirius, James and Snape passed by, with an expression on his face wishing for something.
"Well, slug?" James said loudly. Snape's reaction was as intense as he expected an attack: he slammed his schoolbag off and put his hand into his robe, but as soon as his wand was halfway raised, James yelled: "Except your weapon!"
Snape's wand flew 2 feet into the air, and then fell into the grass behind him with a soft sound. Sirius laughed harshly.
"There are so many obstacles!" He said, and pointed his wand at Snape, who had just rushed at the wand he had fallen and was knocked to the ground halfway through. The students around turned around to watch. Some of them stood up and surrounded them. Some showed understanding, others were entertaining.
Snape lay on the ground panting. James and Sirius walked towards him, holding their wands in their hands, and James turned his head and glanced at the girls by the lake as they walked.
Wormtail stood up now and watched hungrily, moving away from Lupin, trying to see more clearly.
"How about the exam, Slug?" James said.
"I'm looking at him, his nose wiped on the parchment paper," Sirius said viciously. "There must be big grease stains everywhere on it, they can't recognize a word at all."
Several bystanders laughed; it was obvious that Snape was not welcome. Wormtail sneered. Snape struggled to get up, but the spell still worked on him; he struggled as if he was bound by an invisible rope.
"You-- wait," he gasped, staring at James with sheer disgust on his face, "you-- wait!"
"What are you waiting for?" Sirius said coldly. "What are you going to do, slug Snape, wipe our noses on us?"
Snape yelled, with many words of curse, but his wand fell ten feet away, so nothing was born.
"Wash your mouth clean." James said coldly, "sify!"
Snape's mouth immediately spewed pink soap bubbles; his lips were covered with soap bubbles, making him vomit and suffocate—
"Don't mess with him!" James and Sirius turned to check. James' free hand suddenly jumped on his head. That was one of the girls walking by the lake. She has a dark red bushy shoulder length, and a pair of surprisingly green almond eyes-Harry's eyes.
Harry's mother.
"Well, Evans?" James said, his tone suddenly becoming pleasant, deeper and more mature.
"Don't mess with him." Lily repeated. She looked at Jaime’s expression without showing great disgust, "What did he do to you?"
"Oh," James said, posing as if he was considering the main points, "In fact, it is mainly because of his existence, if you know what I mean..."
Most of the students onlookers laughed, including Sirius and Wormtail, except for Lupin—he was obviously determined to bury it in the textbook. He did not laugh, nor did Lily.
"You think you are funny," she said coldly, "but you are just an arrogant, bullying idiot, Potter. Don't mess with him."
"If you go out with me, I will do it, Evans," James said quickly, "Come... go out with me. I will never point my wand at the old slug again."
Behind him, the effect of the barrier spell disappeared. Snape started crawling toward his fallen wand inch by inch, and as he crawled, the soap foam was still squirting from his mouth.
"Even if I choose between you and the giant squid, I will not go out with you." Lily said.
"Unlucky, prong." Sirius said happily, then turned to Snape, "Oh!"
But it was too late; Snape had pointed his wand directly at James; with a flash of light, a deep wound appeared on one of James' faces, and blood was sprayed on his robe. James turned hurriedly: after a second flash, Snape was hung upside down in the air. His robe fell down to cover his head, revealing pale thin legs and a black line inside. Shorts.
Most of the small group of onlookers burst into cheers; Sirius, James and Wormtail laughed wildly.
The furious expression on Lily's face instantly distorted, as if she was about to smile. She said, "Let him down!"
"Of course." James said, raising his wand abruptly; Snape curled up and fell heavily to the ground. Struggling out of his robe, he immediately stood up and raised his wand, but Sirius said, "All petrified!"
Snape fell on his back again, stiff as if a board.
"Don't mess with him!" Lily roared. Now she drew out her magic wand. James and Sirius looked at her warily.
"Ah, Evans, don't force me to use a spell on you." James said seriously.
"Then unlock the spell on him!" James sighed greatly, then whispered a cracking spell to Snape.
"Let's go," he said ~www.wuxiaspot.com~ At this moment Snape struggled to stand up, "Fortunately, Evans is here, slug—"
"I don't need the help of a dirty little mudblood like her!"
Lily blinked. "Okay," she said calmly, "then I won't worry about it anymore. If I were you, I would wash your shorts, slug."
"Apologize to Evans!" James growled at Snape, his wand pointed threateningly at Snape.
"I don't want you to force him to apologize to me," Lily turned and shouted at James. "You are as bad as him."
"What?" James screamed, "I never said you were—you know what!"
"Make your head messy, because you think it’s cool to make yourself look like you just got off a flying broomstick. Use that stupid snitch to show off everywhere, walk around in the corridor, and see who’s not pleasing Curse anyone, because you can do this—I’m so surprised that with a big head like you on it, your broom can still hold 6. You make me sick."
She turned and walked away quickly.
"Evans!" James shouted at her back, "Hi, Evans!"
But she didn't even look back.
"What's wrong with her?" James said, trying to make himself look like he was asking a question that was unnecessary for him, but he didn't succeed.
"From what she means, I have to say, she thinks you are a little arrogant, man." Sirius said.
"Okay," James said, and now he seemed to be really furious, "Okay—" There was another flash, and Snape was suspended upside down in the air again. "Who wants to see me peel off my slug pants?"
