Volume 2 Musings

Volume 1 had 180,000 characters, and Volume 2 had 230,000 characters, basically as expected, not exceeding the limit by too much.

Compared to Volume 1, which was a relatively complete major plot, Volume 2 left many foreshadowings and hooks. The purpose, of course, was to trick... cough, attract you, my esteemed readers, to continue reading.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with Volume 2. At the very least, I feel that I have made significant progress compared to when I wrote Volume 1. The major plot of killing Xiao Feng can be considered to have achieved the effect I wanted.

Then, starting from Volume 3, the entire story's scope will rise another level, and the major plot design will definitely make you all exclaim, "Holy crap!"

Seeing this, many readers might curl their lips and say, "Isn't it just killing the emperor? What's so rare about that?"

No, no, no, let me spoil it a bit, it's not killing the emperor.

As of the end of Volume 2, we have a highest subscription of 2800 and an average subscription of 900.

I am actually quite satisfied with this result, and I also know that it would have been higher if Volume 1 hadn't been written so poorly.

However, while the beginning of a book is important, writing better and better is always more worthy of the readers than writing more and more poorly.

The key is that Volume 1 can't be changed anymore.
