I can enter Hogwarts in the end of the world

Chapter 103 Thanks to Mr. Granger for working overtime

After some explanations from Ian, the Grangers finally accepted his Christmas gift.

However, he always felt that Mrs. Granger always looked at him with a bit of expectation and appreciation. Especially after hearing him talk about buying a house during the summer vacation and his future plans, this feeling became more and more obvious.

"Merry Christmas! What are you talking about?" Hermione was wearing a thin white cardigan today and stood on the stairs sleepily.

Before Ian could say anything, Mrs. Granger said first: "We were talking about why you didn't get up until now. It's already nine o'clock in the morning. Did you suffer from insomnia last night?"

Hermione looked at her mother in confusion, and suddenly felt that what she said was strange, and said without knowing why, "Don't I usually sleep until after 10 o'clock on vacation? Do you think I got up early?"

Mrs. Granger suddenly felt tired... This child was completely unreasonable, so she stopped the topic immediately.

"Okay, let's not talk about this anymore. Now that you're up, come and have breakfast. We've been waiting for you. We'll open the gifts later."

This time Hermione understood, nodded obediently, and said, "Okay, I understand."

After breakfast, Mr. Granger received a call. His best friend suffered from periodontitis and had no choice but to go to his clinic to work overtime.

But Ian could tell from his expression that Mr. Granger might really not want to work overtime. He hesitated to speak for a while, and looked around for a while. In the end, it was Mrs. Granger who scolded him sternly, and he reluctantly went out with his wife.

It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Granger is a part-time nurse in the dental clinic and is the kind of person who is indispensable for treatment.

Compared to her husband's reluctance, Mrs. Granger was much more cheerful. She didn't say a word during the whole process. Not only did she drag her husband away, but she also gave her daughter a subtle wink before leaving.

Although Hermione didn't understand what her mother wanted to express at the end, it didn't stop her from being happy at the moment. After all, there was a big difference between being alone with Ian and being with the whole family.

The girl walked up to Ian at this moment, handed over a gift box wrapped in kraft paper, and said at the same time: "Merry Christmas, this is a gift for you."

After Ian opened the package, he found a dark blue cashmere scarf, which felt soft to the touch. "Thank you for the gift, I like it very much."

With that said, he handed Hermione the gift he had prepared. "I think you should need this book. Principal Dumbledore once gave it to me, but after I learned the magic on it, I no longer need it."

Books, Principal Dumbledore, and magic, these words together, for Hermione, who is eager for knowledge, such a gift undoubtedly has a fatal attraction.

Sure enough, Hermione quickly unwrapped the book, and what came into view was an old book with a yellowish color. Its name was clearly written on the cover - "Ancient Magic - Analyzing the Guardian" God's Curse

Hermione suddenly covered her mouth in surprise. After a long time, the girl raised her head and stared at Ian and said, "How did you know I would need this book?"

He also didn't take Hermione's inquiry seriously and explained in a relaxed tone:

"Of course I guessed it, and the expression of expectation and longing you showed after seeing the Phoenix for the first time, although it passed by in a flash, I still captured it."

Speaking of this, Ian also stared at the girl in front of him and said softly: "Remember to come to me if you have anything to do in the future. Don't practice blindly alone. Magic is not a game."

This was not a sudden thought on his part, but when he thought about the original book, where a second-grade girl dared to go to an abandoned bathroom to brew polyjuice potion privately, and two fools dared to drink it with her, he got a headache.

True to the saying, the ignorant are fearless. It took a whole month to brew the compound potion, so you can imagine how complicated the compound soup potion is. The result is that one really dares to drink it, and the other two really dare to drink it... This means they don't care about Snape's feelings at all...

Fortunately, it was successful, but as Snape said, much of the damage caused by drinking the wrong potion is irreversible. That's why he said one more thing at this moment to prevent Hermione from developing that fearless spirit of adventure.

Hearing Ian's instructions, Hermione pursed her lips and said coquettishly: "I know, he's more verbose than my father..."

The two of them just sat on the sofa and chatted. Perhaps it was human nature to doze off after eating. After a while, Ian felt a little sleepy, which was also related to the surrounding environment. The quiet and comfortable atmosphere made him lean on the sofa and take a nap.

Hermione suddenly felt a little quiet, and then realized that Ian had fallen asleep leaning on the sofa, but she did not wake him up, and just looked at Ian who was sleeping quietly.

Then she seemed to remember something, walked aside gently, picked up a cashmere blanket and covered Ian's body.

After doing all this, she returned to the sofa and opened the book about the Patronus Charm, reading it quietly by herself.

For about an hour or so, the morning sunlight shone on Ian's face through the window screen. Even with his eyes closed, he could still feel the powerful light of the sun.

He opened his eyes slightly and found that he had been covered with a cashmere blanket. He looked forward along the blanket.

I saw that Hermione had taken off her shoes and was sitting cross-legged on the sofa alone, reading quietly. Perhaps the book was really heavy, and the girl needed to shake her calves from time to time to let the book readjust its position.

Originally, this was nothing, but from Ian's perspective, he just saw a pair of white, delicate and pearl-like ones... In short, he felt a little dazzled.

As a last resort, he stretched out his hand and rubbed his eyes. Even such a slight movement was still noticed by Hermione.

"You're awake. I should have taken a photo of you just now so that you could see how embarrassed you were after falling asleep, and you were actually drooling..." Hermione said with a smile.

"No..." Ian touched his lips with his hand somewhat unconfidently, and found that they were clean, with no trace of drooling at all.

"Hahahaha, you actually believe it?" Hermione smiled happily, as if her prank had been successful.

Just when Ian was about to say something to counterattack, the home landline phone rang, so Hermione had to answer the phone.

It took about five or six minutes for Hermione to come out of the study.

"It was my mother who called me, saying that Uncle Kandi's periodontitis is quite serious, so they may not come back until the evening. This means that we need to prepare lunch by ourselves, but we can just heat up the leftover food from yesterday."

"Leave it to me, it's easy. You know I have lived alone for a long time." Ian volunteered to take care of lunch.

Although traces exist and minors cannot perform magic outside of school, his cooking skills do not have to rely on magic.
