The fourth step is to test the fluorescence signal of the sample with a fluorescence spectrometer (PL) instrument, and test five sets of data for each set of samples.

Constantly repeating the first step to the fourth step, Xu Qiu tested a total of 18 samples and obtained a total of 90 sets of data.

These 90 sets of data are the data after fluorescence quenching by HOPG, and it is necessary to obtain the fluorescence signal data without fluorescence quenching, as well as the thickness of the sample.

For the latter two data, it is only necessary to prepare samples of normal glass substrates under the same conditions.

Among them, the fluorescence signal is directly measured by PL, and the thickness of the sample is deduced through the light absorption performance.

According to the Lambert-Beer law, A=Kbc, where A is the absorbance, c is the concentration of the light-absorbing substance, b is the thickness of the absorbing layer, and K is a constant.

For solid thin films, the concentration of light-absorbing substances can be considered as a constant constant, that is to say, the absorbance is linearly related to the thickness of the sample.

Assuming that the absorbance of a film at 100 nanometers is 1, then the thickness of the same film with an absorbance of 0.1 is naturally 10 nanometers.

So, Xu Qiu spin-coated 18 samples of normal glass substrates again under the same conditions, and tested the light absorption spectrum and PL spectrum in turn.

The former tests one set of data for each sample, and the latter also tests five sets of data, finally obtaining 108 sets of data.

After all the tests were completed, it was past eleven o'clock in the evening. Except for Han Jiaying who was waiting in the inner laboratory, everyone else had already left.

Because the complexity of data processing this time is more complicated than that of exciton binding energy on Thursday and Friday, it is no longer linear fitting.

Therefore, it may take half a day or a day to process more than 200 data, so Xu Qiu didn't plan to process the data on the spot.
