"Greetings princess Levina," called the guards with a respectful bow 

This was completely different to how they greeted Dante, but it was to be expected.

This was the direct blood of the Vaenam royal family.

Once she arrived, the princess just waved at the guards inside, showing they didn't have to bother being respectful, and allowed for them to back off.

With that, she walked over to Dante with a beautiful smile on her face and, without waiting, wrapped her arm around his.

The second he saw this, Dante's eyes nearly jumped out their sockets

Who was this and what had they done with princess Levina?

Dante never believed that that vicious and insidious woman would act in that manner.

In that second, Dante sent her a voice message using his spirit energy.

'Levina, explain yourself . What the hell is this nonsense? 

But in response, Dante could only hear the annoyed voice of Levina in return.

'Do you think I want to be doing this? If you're not stupid, you should know the only reason our engagement was allowed to pass through is because the world believes we are madly in love so you better play along if you don't want the sin of lying before the king to fall on your head.'

'your still free to ignore this and stupidly try to resist but just bear in mind your neck is not stronger than the imperial guillotine'

In the end, Dante could do nothing but just shut up and accept it, but his expression was still a bit unnatural. But the guards that were watching just left it Dante being a little embarrassed.

What truly made Dante speechless was that as he walked past he  could even see the guards giving him a secret thumbs up.

  Seeing the pair of Dante and Levina was in through the royal gates, there was just one thought left in the mind of the royals guards watching

'It sure is nice to be young'

After Dante met up with Levina, he was taken through the royal palace for the first time in his life and was impressed to see a level of beautiful architecture that trumped anything he had seen so far in this world.

Of course, if this was compared to his past life, it was still a little lacking, but it had its own set of charm that no modern building could hope to replicate.

As Dante was taken through the royal halls, he finally couldn't hold his curiosity in anymore.

'So where exactly are we going?' Asked Dante.

As soon as she heard this question, princess Levina put on a stupefied look as looked at Dante like she was looking at an idiot.

"Where do you think we're going? Of course, we're going to the royal treasury. You don't think we'll leave such a vital and important location on the outskirts of the royal palace, did you?"

"Cough!"

Embarrassed, Dante could only awkwardly cough to hide his embarrassment. 

But deep in his heart, he was a little shocked 

Although he expected for princess Levina to hold up her end of the deal, he never expected for her to do it so easily.

After all, the vicious and manipulative image that this woman had placed in his mind was still difficult to clear.

Even Dante wouldn't be so agreeable. If it was him, although he wouldn't back out of the deal, he would still find a way to manipulate the person to decrease the value of the reward they received and Dante didn't believe that Levina was a nicer person than him but here she was, proving him wrong and honesty holding onto her end of the deal. 

The simple act from her already had Dante second guessing himself.

While Dante was in this absent minded state, they quickly walked through the palace reaching the treasure storage.

It was only then that Dante snapped back to his senses.

Levina suddenly led him to enter a room.

It was a large room with a row of bookshelves and books and on  nearby desks, Dante could see an old man with tired eyes and a pair of glasses.

Like anything Dante couldn't afford to underestimate this man. 

There was still the powerful radiation of a Martial Adept radiating from his body.

As soon as the old man saw Princess Levina, his slouching posture disappeared.

Standing up he raised his hand to his chest and performed a perfect ceremonial bow .

"Greetings princess, what brings you here today?"

Completely used to such treatment, princess Levina nodded as she spoke.

"Today I have come with my fiancé to pick out some suitable treasures for him."

The second the old man heard this, he couldn't help but look at Dante again.

Seeing his terrifyingly handsome appearance and platinum silver hair that made him look like some fairy out of legend, the old man couldn't help but click his tongue.

'Sure enough, if you're handsome enough, you can get anything.'

Despite his inner bitterness, the old man had seen too much in his life to show it on his face and turned back towards the princess.

Princess, I'm sure you know this already, but treasures can't be taken from the royal vault for free. From your record, you still are able to choose one royal treasure for free and for the rest they will have to personally come out of your contribution points."

As Princess Levina heard this, she just waved her hand in dismissal.

"Such trivial things are not important. As for the cost , you can put it on the combined tab of both me and my grandfather. I don't believe my grandfather's contribution points. I won't be able to redden anything that He wants"

The old man that was logging the records nodded as he heard this.

Who was her grandfather?

The man hailed as the god of war of the Vaenam kingdom. If he didn't have enough points, then nobody else in the Vaenam kingdom should have them.
