The story of "Light" ends here.

From the time the book was published at the end of December 2023, to the time it was put on the shelves on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2024, to today, the ninth day of the Lunar New Year 25, a total of 1.06 million words were written in a period of one year and one month, an average of three thousand words a day... Well, to be honest, I feel a little embarrassed and ashamed.

But it started with Naruto and ended with Naruto, so it can be considered a beginning and an end.

Originally, we wanted to arrange a final battle between Xiaoguang and Otsutsuki, but in the end, considering the rationality of the plot and other reasons, we chose another route.

On the one hand, because Hikaru's current strength is far superior to that of the Naruto world, even if he does not become a Super Saiyan, it would basically take only a few punches to beat Kaguya, making it difficult to write interesting battle scenes.

On the other hand, the book positioned Hikari from the beginning not as the "Uchiha Grandmother" or the "Guardian of Konoha Village", but as a "dimensional traveler". That's why Minato Namikaze, who comes from the same world, joins the group. Because Hikari essentially does not belong to any world. For her, whether it is the Uchiha clan, Konoha Village, or the ninja world, they are just a stop on her journey. So after she is done with things, she will leave the future of the ninja world to the natives to control, just like she did in the worlds of pirates, dragons, etc.

(Indeed, part of the reason is that I don’t know how to deduce the direction of the “New Ninja Government”. After all, the issue of “War and Peace” is too big. The real world has been fighting for thousands of years without any clear conclusion. It is not realistic to write a plan in the novel that even looks convincing on the surface.)

If I continue writing, I can probably only write about the peaceful daily lives of the Otsutsuki family/members in the starry sky, but that would feel too monotonous and you might not like to read it.

Since July last year, the updates in the past six months have been very unstable, often only updated once every two days. I need to apologize to everyone.

The explanation may sound like I'm making excuses, but it is indeed partly because I have to work overtime a lot in reality. The stupid boss checks attendance and increases the workload, making the time for typing very tight every day.

Of course, the more important reason is that I often get stuck in the middle and late stages of writing.

You may have noticed that, starting from the One Piece copy, firstly, this kind of long story involves many characters. The "Dimension Group" itself already has more than ten characters, and then there are a bunch of characters in this world who need to appear. It is difficult to write about everything. Many characters that have been conquered and abilities that have been collected in the early stage rarely appear in the middle and late stages; secondly, it is also due to limited ideas, and the understanding of some worlds may not be deep enough, so although I want to write a different plot, the final effect is still unsatisfactory.

In one year, from the very beginning of "Demon Slayer" and "Dragon Ball", to "Dragon Clan", "Inuyasha", "Aka Zan", "Jujutsu", "One Piece", to the "Naruto" that runs throughout, and the "I Can See Girls" that is only a taste, there are a total of 9 worlds. Basically, each world has a relatively independent plot and a decent ending.

The relationship is a bit superficial, mainly because the initial positioning is "single and partial", and it is unlikely that the heroines like Xiaoguang and Esdeath are obsessed with sticking together, so it is smoother to go the route of two strong people. As for Eri and Bulma, they are more positioned as sisters and close friends, which is more than friendship, but less than lovers.

In general, this is Qingwei’s first chat group/comprehensive anime/female lead Naruto fan fiction. I encountered many problems and areas where I was unable to do my best in the process, and I also learned a lot of lessons. If I were to give a score on a 100-point scale, it might be... around 70 points?

So, let’s put a period here.

Later on, maybe I will write some extra chapters.

As for the new book, I haven't decided yet, and I plan to take a break for a while. I have a few ideas, if you are still interested in reading Qing Niu's book, you can vote, or tell me what you want to read:

1. Single Naruto fanfiction (female protagonist, to make up for the regret that this book only touches on Naruto. However, the idea is still vague)

2. Invasion of otherworldly culture (more of a two-dimensional story, with a female protagonist. This idea is relatively specific. I am considering writing a dragon girl protagonist who is similar to Xiaoguang.)

3. Other original stories with female protagonists (Based on my writing experience, I am probably better at writing about Tokyo/urban supernatural themes, after all, I wrote two and a half books about supernatural things before, but these two themes seem to be outdated... For other themes, you can collect some information and give it a try)

4. Male-centered stories (although, the male-centered female-centered story track is still too niche, and in the past two years, it has suffered some unexpected disasters due to the issue of boxing, which is a bit frustrating)

5. Others

Well, I will accompany you here for now. See you in the next book~
