Cao Meng suddenly felt something and asked the old living Buddha:

"Old Living Buddha, I wonder if the people practicing in Florida in the Western Region are Mahayana Buddhism, Hinayana Buddhism, or something else?"

There are three types of Buddhism in Lanxing, Cao Meng's hometown, namely Mahayana Buddhism, Hinayana Buddhism and Commercial Buddhism.

What does it have to do with me if Buddhist people are behaving recklessly?

"The Hinayana advocates individual liberation, emphasizing renunciation from worldly life, personal liberation and nirvana, and one Buddha alone!

Mahayana advocates benefiting all sentient beings, focusing on universal salvation, educating and cultivating compassion for all sentient beings, and using the fundamental benefit of benefiting all sentient beings to help all sentient beings escape from suffering and reach bliss!

All sentient beings can become Buddhas and become the Buddha's Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss! "

In desperation, Cao Meng simply explained to the old living Buddha the difference between Hinayana Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism.

The Dharma passed down by the Buddha is actually not divided into Mahayana and Hinayana. It's just that each of his disciples has a different understanding, so they are divided into two factions, Mahayana and Hinayana.

"According to what my little friend said, our Buddhist land in the Western Region is closer to the Mahayana, but it still has flaws. Although there is a Buddhist land, it has not reached the point where all sentient beings can ascend to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss!"

The Buddha Continent in the Western Region has established three thousand Buddhist kingdoms based on Buddhist teachings. Under the intervention of Buddhism, the sentient beings in the Buddhist Continent in the Western Region are relatively happy compared to the other four continents, but there is still a huge gap between them and the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss!

Today, the old living Buddha has learned about the teachings of Mahayana Buddhism. He has decided to rectify the Buddhist continent in the Western Regions after returning and strive to establish a true Buddhist country, the Pure Land of Bliss!

"My friend, do your temples in Daozhou in the Eastern Region practice Hinayana or Mahayana?"

The temples in Daozhou in the East Region are doing the work of the Demonic Dao Sect in the name of Buddhism to save all sentient beings.
