Just when Gao Xuzhi was still thinking about what Zhang Yuchu meant by "brightness".

"The way you just spoke is the way of Yao and Shun, which is the way of Yao and Shun. It is the way of Yao and Shun that upholds the righteousness of heaven's principles and the perfection of human relations. It is the way of a hegemon if you use your own selfish motives to rely on benevolence and righteousness."

Zhang Yuchu smiled and admitted: "That's indeed true."

How can a debater admit that his opponent is right? Gao Xunzhi looked slightly stern, not knowing what the other party's intention was.

"But in my opinion, it's not clear enough."

Zhang Yuchu said slowly: "There is one principle in the world, how can there be two? If you ask me, the heart is the principle! There is only one reason for everything, and this is the only reason! Understand everything and solve it easily with the help of heaven. .”

The first half of the sentence "There is one principle in the world, how can there be two?" comes from "Zhu Zi Yu Lei", and the second half of the sentence returns Gao Xunzhi's sarcasm intact.

Let me briefly mention here that originally the two of them were debating the debate between kings and hegemons, but now they have turned to the topic of natural justice and selfishness. Has it gone off topic? The answer is not off topic.

Because according to the default rules of debate, "Tao" or "Heavenly Principle" is the highest proposition that overrides all others and is the origin and foundation of all propositions. The rest, whether it is Gongfu Theory, Ontology, Mind Theory, or Destiny Theory , epistemology are all branch propositions below, and all these branch propositions can be traced back to "Tao" or "Tianli". In other words, all propositions are basically derived from "Tao" or "Tianli" of.

If there is a new explanation of Tianli, then the "Tianli, human relations, principles and selfishness" derived by Gao Xunzhi based on Tianli will naturally be overturned from the root.

But, let’s put it this way, although this matter is not illegal and does not go off topic, but generally no one touches the “law of heaven”!

Following his fast attack style, Gao Xunzhi was about to open his mouth to refute, but when the words reached his lips, he swallowed them abruptly.

He thought that there was a trap here.

Because according to common sense, this sentence in "Zhu Xi Yu Lei" does not mean this.

The correct interpretation of "There is one principle in the world, how can there be two?" is that Zhu Xi is talking about the general principle of "one principle is different". There is only one "reason" here, and it is not used like this by Zhang Yuchu. For ordinary people, it would be ridiculous to apply it blindly without even understanding the basic meaning.

But Zhang Yuchu was obviously not that simple, because Gao Xunzhi thought about it carefully and figured out where the trap was.

"Zhu Xi Yu Lei" says at the beginning: "Tai Chi is only the principle of all things in the world, and the principle of all things is called Tai Chi." Zhu Xi also clearly stated at the Ehu meeting: "Tai Chi is the principle of all things." But in In an inconspicuous place in "Zhu Xi Yu Lei", there is a sentence called "Everyone has Tai Chi in his heart."

This is a classic hidden needle. If Gao Xunzhi directly refuted it, then Zhang Yuchu would probably immediately use Zhu Xi's original words to retaliate.

But if you don’t refute, what should you do?

On the second floor, Zhu Di shifted his gaze, fell on Zhu Gaochi, and said lightly: "What do you think?"

Zhu Di, who was a little angry at first, saw that Gao Xunzhi was in trouble, but he didn't rush to get angry.

After all, if Zhang Yuchu could defeat him in a head-on argument, it would definitely be much more satisfying than sending someone to chop Gao Xunzhi on the spot.

Zhu Gaochi replied: "I feel that if the National Preceptor has coordinated the planning and made a plan, then the probability of Zhang Zhenren winning is still relatively high. After all, the National Preceptor has always made many surprising claims."

Zhu Di nodded. He still trusted Jiang Xinghuo's ability. In this case, it would be fine if Gao Xunzhi could not stand up after being defended.

"Hmph, let's see how long you can last!"

Zhu Di looked at Gao Xunzhi as he was deep in thought, and the corners of his mouth curved, and he said, "Okay, let's do this for now. Let's discuss how to deal with it after Gao Xunzhi loses."

The confrontation between the two was full of excitement from the beginning. Seeing the atmosphere in the ring becoming more and more intense, there was a burst of whispers in the audience.

The eyes of every great scholar and scholar present were full of expectation.

A few breaths before the hourglass ran out, Gao Xunzhi finally said his rebuttal.

"The human heart is only dangerous, the Taoist heart is only small, but the essence is only one, and it is allowed to hold on to the middle. The laws of heaven are divided into three cardinal principles, and the rules are divided into five constants. They will never be changed from ancient times to the present, and they will not be eradicated for thousands of years. The thousands of words of the sage are just teachings. Humans understand the principles and destroy human desires. You say that 'the heart is the principle'. How can selfishness achieve the principles of heaven? That's nonsense."

Gao Xunzhi still clung to the standard answer of the Three Cardinal Guidelines and the Five Constant Rules. This was also Zhu Xi's idea of refuting Lu Jiuyuan at the Ehu meeting. At the very least, in Gao Xunzhi's view, this answer would make him invincible. , after all, although Lu Jiuyuan had a slight advantage in the Ehu meeting, Zhu Xi did not lose.

There's no way Zhang Yuchu's mental skills are better than Lu Jiuyuan's, right?

According to his understanding of Zhang Yuchu, although the other party is known as a "Taoist master", he is not of this level.

When Zhang Yu first saw Gao Xunzhi's answer, he became more confident.

Jiang Xinghuo is right.

Objective idealism cannot compete with subjective idealism.

As long as I think that this is right, then it is right. It's useless for you to say anything else. I won't listen.

Zhang Yuchu smiled slightly and said:

"Zhu Xi said: Everyone has a Tai Chi in his heart. The so-called Tai Chi is the principle of all things."

"I think Zhu Zi's meaning is very obvious, that is, the principle of all things exists in the human heart. So what is 'heart'?"

"Mencius says: The organ of the heart is thinking. If you think, you will get it. If you don't think, you won't get it."

"I feel that the heart is already the essence. How can there be another essence outside of the essence? The essence of the heart is empty and not ignorant, and has no limit. Reasons and things should be done, for thousands of lives, and even for thousands of lives, It’s all in my heart.”

"So, according to Zhu Zi, the heart contains all principles and all principles are contained in one heart. Therefore, all principles are only in the heart of people and not outside the heart."

"The human heart is the master of all things. Although the heart is empty, it is all truth. Although the heart is one thing, it is empty and can contain all principles."

Did Zhu Xi say these words? Of course I have said that, this is all clearly stated in "Zhu Xi Yu Lei".

Zhu Xi also clearly said, "The reason why human beings are in the heaven and earth and are the spirits of all things is the heart! However, the heart is the body and cannot be heard or seen, nor can it be thought or asked for. If it is said that there are things, it cannot be In words, it is said that there is nothing, so in daily use, there is no comfort but not right. All things have a heart and must be empty. Only these empty places contain many truths, which encompass the heaven and the earth, including the past and the present. They can be generalized and cover the sky. This is the reason why the earth is the wonder of the human heart."

However, these are mentioned in Zhu Xi's Theory of Mind in order to make the Three Cardinal Principles and Five Constant Constraints restrict the human mind. Zhang Yuchu's obvious use of them is to take them out of context and take them out of context.

Poor Zhu Xi spent his whole life sewing with needle and thread, but the cloth he sewed was used as someone else's wedding dress.

Zhang Yuchu said "I think", which made Gao Xunzhi a little frustrated. However, so far, the situation has not been out of Gao Xunzhi's control. After all, Zhang Yuchu has not come up with anything beyond the times, and it is still Zhu Xi and Lu Jiuyuan. old version of the weapon.

Since it is an old version, a method to crack it must have been developed long ago.

"Is this the understanding of Zhuzi's Yulei? What Zhuzi said is that the investigation of things is based on the human heart to understand the principle of all things. The principle of investigating the heart focuses on the principle of human desire in the heart. When the principle of human desire is understood, The human heart will become clear and enlightened, and then the good things in people's hearts will be revealed. The purpose of maintaining respect is to prevent people's minds from random thoughts and prevent the body from acting randomly. Use respect to preserve the original heart and keep people in awe. After all, Fundamentally, we still use the moral principles to eliminate human desires. The purpose of destroying human desires is to preserve the principles of nature. The principles of heaven are reflected in human relations, which are the three cardinal principles and five constant principles."

What this means here is that it is precisely the various human desires that do not conform to the provisions of heaven's laws in people's hearts that encourage people to become bad and change their nature from good to evil, causing a crisis in the morality of the entire society. From the perspective of Neo-Confucianism, if we want to prevent this situation from happening, we must proceed from two aspects. One is to emphasize the normative nature of the "Three Cardinal Guidelines and Five Constant Rules" and use these social rules based on patriarchal systems to restrain human desires. The second is to require Confucian scholars to Gexin, which is the so-called "gentleman is cautious about independence", uses moral consciousness and self-discipline to control the human desires in the heart.

Fundamentally speaking, studying things is a means of studying the mind, and studying the mind is the purpose of studying things. Zhu Xi's emphasis on the human heart is essentially to "destroy human desires", rather than highlighting the role of the heart as Zhang Yuchu said.

In fact, in the early Ming Dynasty, Wu Yubi, the son of Wu Pu, the founder of the Chongren School and now the editor of the Hanlin Academy (the first in the second class of Jinshi in the second year of Jianwen, the same period as Yang Rong and Jin Youzi) said it most clearly, " "Huan Zhai Ji" says, "Restrain yourself when you are still, and reflect when you are active. You cannot ignore it for a moment. If your mind is scratched by things and there is no way to clarify it, your mind will become more chaotic, your energy will become turbid, and the shackles will be repeated, and the loss will become farther away."

Of course, Wu Yubi was still a twelve-year-old boy at this time, so Gao Xunzhi could not understand the new version of "combining Li Qi with Xin Xing" and could only use the same old refutation.

Seeing that Gao Xunzhi couldn't come up with anything new, Zhang Yuchu took something out of Yuyi.

It's a flower.

The petals are delicate and tender, and there are even residual dewdrops on them. The dewdrops are crystal clear and exude a charming color under the summer sun. It is obvious that Zhang Yuchu just plucked them from the roadside early in the morning.

"Zhu Xi denounced Lu's new learning as Zen Confucianism. Is he trying to imitate the pedantic smile?"

There was a lot of discussion in the audience.

"When I came today, one friend said that there was nothing outside my heart, and another friend pointed to the flower trees on the roadside and asked, "There is nothing outside my heart in the world. How can such flowers and trees bloom and fall on their own in this place, so what does it have to do with my heart?"

Answer: Before you look at this flower, this flower and your heart will become silent together. When you look at this flower, the color of the flower suddenly becomes clear to you. Then you know that this flower is not in your heart. "

If an ordinary person heard it at first glance, this was the gibberish of a madman, but Gao Xunzhi's expression became more serious than ever before, and even the fingers clasped on his knees began to curl up.

Because Gao Xunzhi knew very well what the other party meant.

The origin of Neo-Confucianism was shaken.

According to the theoretical building of Neo-Confucianism, no matter what happens, the laws of nature will always exist there. No matter whether there is a human heart or not, the laws of nature will remain unchanged. Therefore, to "preserve the laws of nature and destroy human desires", the laws of nature are the highest.

And if we follow the meaning reflected in this story, it is that the human heart is the first priority, and all operations in the world are predicated on the existence of the human heart. If there is no human heart, there will be no heavenly principles.

In this way, the human heart is the legislator of the entire universe and of all heavenly principles.

The human heart is above the laws of nature.

But that's not enough!

If it were just these, it would not be enough to defeat Gao Xunzhi.

If you want to defeat Gao Xunzhi, you must use your "heart" to interpret the "Three Cardinal Principles and Five Constant Principles", and completely smash him as something to rely on and try to be invincible!

Zhang Yuchu put away the flowers and chuckled:

"Similarly speaking, the body of the heart is nature, and nature is reason.

Therefore, if you have the heart of filial piety, you have the principle of filial piety; if you don’t have the heart of filial piety, you have no principle of filial piety.

If you have a heart of loyalty to the emperor, you have the principle of loyalty; if you don't have the heart of loyalty to the emperor, you have no principle of loyalty.

The three cardinal principles and five constant principles can all be deduced in this way. Li Shimin has the heart to follow the king's way, how can he not have the principles of the king?

The heart is the principle. Are there things and principles outside the heart in the world? Is the law of heaven outside of my heart? "

silence.

Deathly silence.

Gao Xunzhi struggled to swallow the saliva in his throat, but it choked into his trachea.

"Cough cough cough"

Only the sound of coughing echoed in the arena.

Everyone in the audience looked at Zhang Yuchu on the stage with extremely horrified eyes.

Everyone originally thought that today's third competition would be a debate between kings and hegemons, but no one expected it, and it actually wanted to destroy the foundation of Neo-Confucianism!

It turns out that what he was talking about for a long time actually ended up here!

"How can it be?"

Gao Xunzhi's heart was beating violently and he could hardly breathe. His face turned from green to white. He couldn't believe what he heard.

However, he couldn't believe that this new theory came from Zhang Yuchu's mouth.

He knew very well what Zhang Yuchu's level was. The two had fought against each other many times during the Hongwu Dynasty. Although he was knowledgeable about classics, he followed the path of Neo-Confucianism. When did he study Lu's philosophy of mind? Is this a ground-breaking new theory?

Simply appalling!

But what Zhang Yuchu said, he had no way of refuting!

How to argue? This is something that no one has ever seen before. Using the human mind to understand the principles of heaven. The three cardinal principles and five constant principles of nature can be elucidated from the human heart. This leads back to the path of nothing outside the heart and irrationality outside the heart, which is verified. Heavenly principles only exist in people's hearts.

A high level of force is the heart certificate.

To put it more simply, I am thinking that heaven’s principles are in people’s hearts. You ask me why heaven’s principles are in people’s hearts? Because my heart is thinking that it is within, it is within. If you are not convinced, I will argue.

The logic is closed and it belongs to yes.

Zhang Yuchu's method is indeed rogue, using the magic of subjective idealism to defeat the magic of objective idealism.

You also talk about the principles of objective things, but I only talk about "I Xunsi".

If Gao Xunzhi could calmly study this kind of proposition for a few months, he might be able to come up with a countermeasure, but now the hourglass is coming to an end, and his brain is empty.

This question had no solution in the previous version!

"What do you mean?"

Listening to the eunuch's narration, Zhu Di frowned and looked at Gao Xunzhi who was in a deadlock on the stage, but he didn't feel the slightest pleasure in revenge.

Because he didn't understand.

He could understand the words and roughly understand what they meant when connected together, but Zhu Di didn't understand why Gao Xuzhi was speechless when faced with such a simple question.

Isn’t it enough to just say that the heart cannot prove reason?

Zhu Gaochi did not answer his father's question immediately. Instead, he was immersed in this mysterious philosophical proposition and couldn't extricate himself until the third child criticized him.

"oh oh!"

Only then did Zhu Gaochi react and translate for his father.

"What Master Longhushan means is that the original mind, or consciousness, is not just about doing whatever I want, it is not that superficial, but the consciousness is 'everything I want is an object', that is to say The existence of all external objects is related to the direction of people's original consciousness, and the directivity of the original consciousness means the beginning of the formation process of external objects. Therefore, external objects are not "external objects", but are essentially , is a kind of 'conscious object' that links the inner consciousness with external objects. The flower is not a flower, but a flower in my heart. When the consciousness in my heart is activated, it means the change of external objects."

Zhu Gaochi's explanation is of course rich in philosophical abstract meaning, but this is obviously the clearest explanation for Zhu Di.

In other words, the role of "I am thinking" in the theoretical edifice of mind science is not to "think about whatever I am thinking about", but as long as the process of "thinking" starts with the activation of human heart, then the relationship between "original mind" and "external objects" will be different. A connection was established between them, which is why the evidence of the heart cannot be cracked.

"This is the reason, okay! I will personally inscribe a plaque to the Great Shangqing Palace later!"

Gao Xunzhi on the stage had lost his mind, but Zhang Yuchu was unyielding.

All the grievances of being defeated by Gao Xunzhi in the past came to mind. Now with the blessing of Jiang Xinghuo, the cheating grandfather, Zhang Yuchu just wanted to scream: Thirty years to the east of the river, thirty years to the west of the river, don't bully the Taoist priests to be poor!

"Everyone has a Zhongni in his heart, and he will cover up the suffering he hears and sees.

Now that he is the real person, his conscience is even more doubtful. "

Zhang Yuchu pointed at Gao Xunzhi, who was already close to defeat, and said: "Gao Xunzhi, look back and see your heart, see your heart's clear nature, clear your nature and reason, and the reason is in your heart! Just follow me and be bright!"

Of course Gao Xunzhi would not give in easily. He gritted his teeth and asked, "You said that clear nature knows reason. How can clear nature know reason?"

Zhang Yuchu was naturally prepared. He clearly recited the theory Jiang Xinghuo gave him:

"Knowledge is the essence of the heart, and the heart will naturally know. When you see your father, you will naturally know filial piety, when you see your brother, you will naturally know your younger brother, when you see your child falling into the well, you will naturally know compassion. This is conscience, and it does not seek externally. If conscience develops, there will be no obstacles from selfish intentions. That is to say, "the heart of compassion can be fully utilized, but benevolence cannot be used beyond measure." However, ordinary people cannot be free of selfish intentions, so they must use the power of knowing and investigating things. Overcoming selfishness and rationalizing, that is, the conscience of the heart is more unobstructed and can be filled and spread. It means knowing, knowing means sincerity, and sincerity leads to light."

Now Gao Xunzhi already knew that he was destined to lose, but he held on for a while because he wanted to learn this new mental knowledge clearly, otherwise the thoughts in his heart would really not be clear enough.

"How do you gain knowledge by studying things with your mind?"

Zhang Yuchu stood up, his feathers fluttering, and he was pacing while reciting poems, showing a somewhat chic attitude.

"There is no good or disgusting body, there are good and evil actions, knowing good and evil is conscience, and doing good and eliminating evil is qingwu."

"My heart is bright and everyone is holy!"

Gao Xun's ambition is as gray as death.

".To do good and eliminate evil is to examine things."

Cao Duan muttered this sentence over and over again in the audience.

Although this was the first time I heard it, with Cao Duan's understanding, he quickly understood what it meant.

In the new concept of mind proposed by Zhang Yuchu, studying things to achieve knowledge is more about facing the thoughts in the heart. Studying things is also the head of righteous thoughts, correcting the improper thoughts and correcting them to make them right. The resulting knowledge is One's own conscience, and conscience is a person's moral instinct. A person's original heart is bright and pure, and his morality will be on the verge of breaking out, but there will be evil thoughts to cloud his original mind. The investigation of things is to restore the evil to the right and gain conscience.

To be mindful is to understand that you have unwholesome thoughts. Knowing it means knowing. After knowing it, you need to be mindful to make it legitimate. Search for all the unwholesome thoughts in your heart and make them reasonable and legitimate. First of all, it is acquiesced that conscience is the essence of light. Everyone has a heart, so everyone can become a saint.

"Cough cough cough"

The more Gao Xunzhi coughed, the worse he got. In the end, he was coughing up blood.

Cao Duan couldn't think about it and rushed onto the stage in three steps. Fortunately, he was young and often did farm work, so he picked up Gao Xunzhi by himself.

"Doctor! Go call the doctor quickly!"

The blood from Gao Xunzhi's mouth splashed on the gown, and at this time it was actually mixed with tears. Big drops of tears flowed from his cloudy eyes.

"Gong Ai of Lu went hunting for lin in the west. The sage said: My way is poor. Today I cannot defend my way, and I have become a sinner!"

Of course Cao Duan could roughly understand the feelings of Confucius, or Gao Xunzhi. As the top Confucian in the Ming Dynasty, he had defended the orthodoxy of Neo-Confucianism for decades, but now he was rendered speechless by the other party's groundbreaking new theory. , that's it, that's all. The key is that this new theory will cause violent ideological turmoil if spread!

It is not an exaggeration to say that it caused a tsunami in Confucianism!

Because "becoming a saint" is a lifelong elusive dream for Confucian scholars.

After all, after thousands of years of this road, only a few people have reached the end, and the probability of being canonized is too small.

But which Confucian scholar has not imagined the beautiful dream of "becoming a saint" when he was enlightened?

As Napoleon said, a soldier who doesn't want to be a general is not a good soldier.

A Confucian scholar who does not want to be a saint is not a good Confucian scholar.

The problem is that there are hundreds of millions of difficulties in going from Confucian scholar to saint.

But this set of knowledge that uses the human heart to prove the principles of heaven has told Confucian scholars all over the world that everyone can become a saint!

And this is not just empty talk!

The new theory proposed by Zhang Yuchu is first based on the "original brightness of the mind" and then clearly provides the steps for cultivating the mind. It stands to reason that everyone can understand that when one is sincere, one's mind will be sincere, and if one's mind is sincere, there will be light.

After the person's heart reaches a state of light and thinks he is a saint, doesn't he really become a "saint"?

This is a completely feasible and logically closed-loop set of cultivation methodology.

This will bring disaster to the Ming Dynasty's Neo-Confucianism!

Gao Xunzhi was carried to Wang Yuli's side, but Wang Yuli drank mung bean soup, while he drank Chinese medicine soup.

"Gao Gong, please have a good rest and leave the rest to me. I will only talk about kings and tyrants, regardless of people's hearts and nature."

Cao Duan took a deep breath and looked at Zhang Yuchu on the stage. He knew that he was the last hope.

Not only did he want to defeat Zhang Yuchu, but he also wanted to defeat Yao Guangxiao and go to see Kong Xilu in prison with his own eyes.

Under the spotlight, he entered the ring.

——————

The Flying Eagle Guard is stationed at Yuhuatai, just south of Jubao Gate in Nanjing City.

Yuhuatai is about thirty feet high and more than seven miles long. It has been a good place for climbing in Nanjing since ancient times.

There is actually a reason why Yuhuatai was chosen as the station for the hot air balloon troops.

The key point here is that the terrain of Yuhuatai is similar to the "Wuzhangyuan (original 'plateau') in the northwest. It is a platform-like terrain that is higher than the flat bottom, just like a huge helicopter landing pad. It is extremely Conducive to the take-off, landing and recovery of hot air balloons.

There is no flight mission for the Eagle Guard today, so the hot air balloons are parked in the warehouse used to protect them from wind and rain. There is not a single hot air balloon in the square used for takeoff and landing at Yuhuatai, and the pilots on duty are also in the check room. Chatting and spanking.

"We'll take a break tomorrow. Let's go have a good drink tonight, brothers."

"Which girl do you think you can meet tonight?"

"Isn't it just those people?"

"But I heard that the new one is pretty."

Suddenly, a few small black spots appeared on the mountain road in the distance, and quickly moved towards them.

As the sound of horse hooves came, not only the pilots on duty, but also the sergeants responsible for guarding the Yuhuatai station became alert.

The horses were organized, the soldiers were in formation with their spears in hand, and the archers behind them had already strung their bows.

The leading flag bearer set up a pergola and looked forward, only to see those few people galloping towards this side on horseback. The distance was getting closer and closer, and soon he could clearly see the expressions on each other's faces -

"Get out of the way! Duke Cao has an order!"

The visitor's tone was particularly urgent, making the Eagle Guard sergeant even more confused.

These hot-air balloon troops are all under the Flying Eagle Guard establishment. They are not administratively under the control of the Fifth Army Governor's Office. They are directly commanded by the emperor. Logically speaking, no prince of the country can interfere, and who is Cao Guogong? ghost? Didn’t Mr. Cao Guogong go to Japan?

The sergeants of the Flying Eagle Guard were suspicious. The leader, the general flag, signaled to his men not to take action easily, and then he walked down the steps to face the opponent alone and doubtfully.

"This is the Flying Eagle Guard. I wonder what Duke Cao Guo's orders are?"

The commander-in-chief carefully stared at the men in front of him who were obviously servants.

However, Jiang Xinghuo's horse riding speed was too slow, so Li Jinglong directly sent Cao Ada and others to negotiate in advance.

After Cao Ada presented the warrant with the seals of Cao Guogong and the Imperial Master, the General Banner decisively let him go.

"Move away from Juma!"

After that, he stretched out his hand to signal Cao Ada and others to continue moving forward, and at the same time said: "Please follow me!"

Cao Ada nodded, and then called on his companions to continue riding with him into the Yuhuatai station.

"whats the matter?"

Huo Fei, who is currently in charge of managing the Flying Eagle Guard, and Ding Xiaohong, the deputy of the Hundred Household, both rushed out. These two former craftsmen of the Military War Bureau, relying on their boldness and carefulness to risk their lives, have now achieved a class jump.

"Now let all the hot air balloons take off to intercept them!"

Huo Fei frowned and said, "Who to intercept?"

Cao Ada said eagerly: "Someone is trying to rebel. They use a hot air balloon to crash into the building next to the debate arena and cause a fire. They want to take this opportunity to create chaos and fish in troubled waters!"

"this"

Huo Fei and Ding Xiaohong looked at each other.

"How to intercept? Where to intercept?"

"It's too late to explain. The National Master will tell you later, so hurry up and prepare for takeoff!"

Huo Fei thought for a moment. Since they were not asked to blow up the palace and tombs, and they did have the order from the Imperial Master, there was no reason to disobey the order.

"Xiao Hong, ask all pilots to prepare for takeoff now, immediately, immediately!"

"yes!"

The decision was made, Ding Xiaohong rushed over to inform the pilots.

At this moment, on the observation tower set high above the Yuhuatai, a sentry was watching what happened below, but he couldn't hear clearly.

The other sentry was holding a newly equipped telescope. Well, it was supplied in limited quantity to pilots. There were only a few sentries on the ground. He observed the movement around the Yuhuatai. Suddenly, his eyes widened.

"Huh? Look over there. There seems to be something floating over there!"

The other person heard the words and immediately threw the telescope in his hand into the distance. Just as his companion said, there were small black spots in the sky floating from the southeast of Yuhuatai and slowly moving to the northwest.

The sentry immediately started calling semaphores.

Jiang Xinghuo, who was urging the little gray horse to move on the mountain road, also saw this scene. Wang Bin took out his binoculars.

"Did you see clearly? Something is flying towards us?"

"See clearly!"

Wang Bin responded quickly: "It is flying quite high, and its heading is towards the northwest. It should reach the north of Yuhuatai in a while."

Li Jinglong frowned when he heard the other party's words were firm.

After a while, a small black dot that seemed to be flying slowly, but was actually not slow at all, appeared within the visual range.

"Look! Over there!"

Archers with good eyesight on the ground also raised their hands and pointed to the sky in the distance.

Everyone looked around and saw a few small black dots on the horizon moving slowly towards this side. Compared with just now, they were already visible to the naked eye. Although the identity of the other party could not be confirmed due to the distance, it was obvious. The other person is not kind.

At this time, there was a burst of chaotic and dense footsteps in the Eagle Guard's barracks.

The soldiers dragged the hot air balloon out one after another, and the pilots were wearing cold-proof clothes and protective gear, but it still took time to warm up.

"Master Imperial Master, what should I do?"

Huo Fei and Ding Xiaohong were also undecided and looked at Jiang Xinghuo, who had just arrived.

"Now we have to calm down and let the hot air balloon warm up first, and then wait for the heavy artillery guns from the Eagle Guard and other military units to arrive. Let me do the calculations carefully."

Jiang Xinghuo turned over and dismounted, holding a map and placing it on the saddle of the little gray horse. He lowered his head and was calculating something with a charcoal pencil. While he was calculating, he looked at the angle of the small black dot in the distance. He stretched out his hand again and felt the wind. direction and speed.

The people around him, including Li Jinglong, did not dare to disturb Jiang Xinghuo who was deep in thought.

Not long after, Jiang Xinghuo heavily outlined several marks on the map. Seeing the two lines collide, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"It can be hit."
