In The Pokemon Era, I Stayed At Home And Played Games
Chapter 181: Changpan Gymnasium
"Phew, Rest!"
After sending Wen Jingyu and others back to their respective homes, Qi En also took a taxi back to his home. After returning home, he took the 3D dragon back.
Take it directly back to the Breeder House in the game world.
While letting it rest with the other Pokémon, he also went to Cinnabar Island with Alakazam. After taking a bath there, he returned to the Breeder House Rest.
Although he didn't drink much tonight, he didn't drink too much either. At this time, he was in a daze, just in time to rest, and slept until dawn.
After getting up in the morning, washing up, and eating breakfast aboard the St. Ann, Qi En also took a look at today's class. Today's class is not important, "Forget it!
Taking advantage of the nice weather today, I happened to visit the Joban Gym.
After teleporting back to Pallet Town, Qi "Qi Ba San" En even took a special look at Aunt Delia and Casey Mei, then followed Route 1 and walked towards Joban City.
Qi En has walked along Route 1 once before.
But what is different from the last time is that this time Qi En is riding Arcanine.
It originally took two or three days to walk along Route 1, but Qi En walked to Joban City in less than two hours today.
First, the speed of Arcanine is indeed too fast. Qi En once measured the speed of Arcanine. If it runs freely on the highway, its maximum speed can run about 700 kilometers per hour. However, if endurance is taken into account, Question, the average speed is about 500 kilometers.
The average speed of the Arcanine family is 416 kilometers per hour. After all, if it can run 10,000 kilometers in one day and one night, the average speed is 416 kilometers.
It is normal for Qi En's Arcanine to run faster.
This game should be much faster than riding on Qi En's legs or riding a small electric donkey.
The second reason is that Qi En does not need to fight monsters this time. The average level of the Pokémon on Route 1 is 3-4. At this level, if Qi En fights the Pokémon here, any of his Pokémon will probably level up. It’s not level one, so forget it!
Precisely because he didn't fight monsters and rode Arcanine, Qi En could reach Joban City in two hours, which originally took two or three days to complete.
After arriving in Joban City, Qi En took back Arcanine and then went directly to Joban Gym.
Joban Gym is a Ground Type Gym. The Pokémon in the Gym are mainly Ground Type Pokémon. Giovanni’s Pokémon should be Dugtrio, Rhydon, Nidoking and Nidoqueen.
To deal with these Pokémon, the best ones are naturally Blastoise and Venusaur.
So what Qi En plans to use today is mainly based on these two Pokémon.
The last time I came here, I couldn't open the Tokiwa Gym, but this time, I went in directly. After entering the gym, I fought the minions first.
The first NPC is the beast tamer Jason, who uses a level 47 Sandslash.
But this Sandslash really has no resistance against Qi En's Blastoise.
At the beginning, it wanted to use Dig for a sneak attack, but don’t forget that almost all Pokémon in Qi En can Earthquake!
Qi En didn't need to say anything about this Dig. Blastoise stepped on the Ground with his right foot and used Earthquake instantly!
Then the Sandslash was forced to climb up from the Ground with great damage.
But as soon as he came up, he was shot in the distance by Blastoise and a Water Pulse, losing his combat effectiveness. A Sandslash was really not enough to look at.
The second Rival is called trainer Cole, and his two Pokémon are Nidorino and Rhyhorn. It’s hard to imagine that the two Pokémon at level 47 are not in their final form.
But it was still useless and could not stop Qi En's Blastoise.
Although Nidorino is not afraid of water because it is a separate Poison Type, Poison Type is afraid of Ground, so an Earthquake will still run on that path.
The third NPC is called Karate King Takashi, and he uses a level 47 Graveler. Facing the Venusaur just thrown by Qi En, it has no power to parry.
Two Magical Leafs solve it directly.
The next three NPCs are slightly stronger than the first three because they are all elite Trainers, but the Pokémon they use are too obvious in their weaknesses. They are either Nidoking, Poison plus Ground, Dugtrio, Rhyhorn, or Nidoqueen. From Qi En's perspective, These Pokémon are used to warm up Qi En's Blastoise and Venusaur.
I easily cleared the level without taking any damage and reached the last person, Giovanni.
When Giovanni saw Qi En, he didn't know if he still remembered Qi En, the man who defeated him twice and ruined his plan...
Anyway, he didn't say anything to Qi En, and then went straight into the battle.
Giovanni's first Pokémon was a level 49 Dugtrio.
Dugtrio is actually not a very strong Pokémon. Its strongest point is that it is very fast, with a speed of up to 120 Species Strength. Although it is not the fastest among Pokémon, it is still among the best.
It comes up with a Sucker Punch to fight Blastoise, but Blastoise has fought many fast Pokémon. After all, Qi En not only has Arcanine and Dragonite, but also Ninjask, the fastest among gods.
Therefore, Qi En's Pokémon are very considerate in dealing with speed-type Pokémon.
Without saying a word, just shoot the beat is the best choice.
So when faced with Dugtrio's Sucker Punch, Blastoise didn't dodge or evade it. He just took this move and then directly used Surf, that huge wave, to shoot towards Dugtrio. What Dugtrio could do was dig and hide in underground!
But there is no use hiding in it, because water will flow in through this hole.
When the water poured into the hole dug by Dugtrio, Blastoise also used Earthquake. This time it was water and Earthquake, and Dugtrio couldn't hold it in an instant.
When it was shaken by the Earthquake and climbed up, it had no fighting power and was taken away directly by Blastoise with a Water Gun!
Seeing that his 3.6 Dugtrio lost, Giovanni's eyes became gloomy, but without saying anything, he released his second Pokémon, the level 49 Nidoqueen.
But whether it is Nidoqueen or Nidoking, it is actually of little use.
The biggest use of Poison + Ground Attribute is that it is immune to the Electric type. In addition, when hit by the Grass type, it only does normal damage, not double, but it still does the same damage when hit by the Ground, Water, Psychic, and Ice types. Qi En does not change it. Blastoise's plan.
So whether it is Nidoqueen or Nidoking, it seems that they are of little use in Qi En.
"!"
"Blastoise, Surf!" As Nidoqueen appeared on the field, Qi En also commanded Blastoise and roared loudly. Since we have met, let's get a Surf as a meeting gift!
