This is a completely autonomous osmosis model that uses rubber skin, and then ends up living tissue on a metal endoskeleton, the T-1000 is made entirely of liquid memory metal called "analog multialloy".

This means that it can morph into any shape of approximate size that it touches, hence the name "deformer". It cannot be morphed into any random object, such as a pack of cigarettes, as it is much smaller in size. Nor can the T-1000 be transformed into any object that requires mechanical operation, such as a bomb.

Another serious limitation of the T-1000 is that it cannot produce conventional weapons on its own, although it can make use of found weapons and vehicles. It can organically form primitive blunt weapons such as hooks or stabbing weapons such as knives.

The T-1000's usual modus operandi is to mimic a civilian who has been found or killed, and will only attack once a target has been identified, making it ideal for assassination missions.

Combat capability:

The T-1000 is not equipped with any weapons, but is capable of shaping any solid metal form, such as knives, swords, and other bladed weapons, by lengthening the limbs and solidifying them into the desired shape.

The T-1000 is not capable of simulating any complex systems, which may have moving parts or chemicals, such as firearms or explosives. However, the T-1000 is capable of hiding and carrying weapons inside it. In order to form a weapon from a limb, the T-1000 must convert that particular part to a liquid metal state before reconfiguration, while keeping the rest of its body in a solid metal state.

Combined with the flexibility conferred by its form, the T-1000 demonstrates superior martial arts capabilities in its subroutines, making it more capable than the T-800 in close-quarters combat.

Self-healing:

Due to its liquid metal construction, the T-1000 is capable of extensively reproducing damage inflicted by ballistic weapons. However, the greater the damage, the more time it will take to repair (such as when the T-800 fires a grenade at its torso), and enough damage can temporarily incapacitate it until it is fully recovered.

In some cases, the T-1000 unit is even able to fully recover from a phased plasma explosion from the point blank range to the head. Splitting the parts of the T-1000 is not enough to prevent its regeneration, since the parts look for each other and recombine to become a full-fledged and functional combat unit again at short distances. The smaller the size of the particles, the less intelligence each piece has.

Combined, the capabilities of the T-1000 are incredible, however, when it is broken into pieces, it is only trying to get back into the whole.

Extreme temperatures: T-1000 is amorphous in nature and is very susceptible to extreme temperatures: extreme cold, such as immersion in liquid nitrogen, can cause it to solidify and immobilize until it melts, while at the opposite temperature, high temperatures (such as immersion in liquid steel) can destroy it at extremely low temperatures

of -196 degrees Celsius, such as those produced by liquid nitrogen, which can freeze the T-1000.

Shredding a frozen T-1000 causes it to malfunction, as its self-protection protocol kicks in to compensate for severe damage, but not enough to destroy it.

After exposure to flames, camouflage or camouflage may temporarily fail due to high temperatures. In the event of an explosion of the T-1000, the device will liquefy in a short time.
