Looking back now, there are many reasons. On the one hand, it was my first time writing and lack of experience, and on the other hand, in order to comply with some settings and subsequent plots.

When I was writing the outline of the second volume, I had an idea: why not just abandon the first volume, start the book from the second volume, and intersperse the contents of the first volume with memories.

Later I gave up. On the one hand, it had been serialized for a while and several book friends had been following it. It was a bit irresponsible to start a new book like this.

On the other hand, when I read a book myself, I really hate this method of using memories to whet the reader's appetite.

Coupled with the comparison of some plots, I can't control my writing ability by describing it only based on my memories (although it's not good to write it directly like this.)

I can realize that the most obvious thing is that the timeline is stretched too long, making the plot seem a bit empty.

In fact, the method is also simple, just set up more opposing conflicts.

The protagonist belongs to Yu Ling, so like most cool novels, adding one or more opposing organizations and more events targeting them can easily fill up the plot, or even write hundreds of chapters.

But why not? The only opposite is the spirit society, and the plot is pitiful.

The mission at the Lianyun Mountain military base was the beginning of the Linghui conspiracy, but it was not until a year later that it officially surfaced.

This is because of the overall outline and setting.

Under this setting, I really can't convince myself that there can be so many people who are hostile to Yuling, and they can be active and keep causing trouble for them.

A lot of changes were made to the outline of the first volume, and a lot was deleted, and in the end it could only be what it is now.

Next is the content of the second volume. Compared with the first volume, the second volume has fewer problems. The plot setting is still the same as the first volume, where ordinary daily life and battles are interspersed, but it will not be like the first volume. It’s as empty as a volume, at least that’s what I think (laughs)

The former remembers the feeling, but the latter can remember the scene.
