This book was particularly enjoyable to write, with a dreamlike feeling of a wonderful picture slowly unfolding under my keyboard.

The last book "Hogwarts: Gray Wizard" took more than a year to write, with more than three million words. When I was about to finish writing, my family advised me to take a break after finishing, but I still released the new book before the last chapter of "The Gray Wizard" was updated.

Writing a book is a real pleasure, a special pleasure.

I have so much desire to express myself that I want to put into words. I don’t want to say it out loud, but it’s really fun to write.

The tone I set for the previous book "The Gray Wizard" was "very magical magic" and "a very magical story". The tone of this book "Why Hunting a Super Cowardly Innocent Wizard" is similar.

I want to write a ‘fantasy world that looks like reality’.

Because the characters are real and real, and because the characters are paradoxical but not so real, it has a dream-like feeling.

This novel is essentially a wizard novel, except that I changed its setting from the Western Middle Ages to a modern city.

Under such circumstances, many things seem to have changed.

The biggest change is that it has become somewhat inappropriate to use science as the basis of the witchcraft system. Not only can it not be used to distinguish the core strengths of the protagonist and other wizards, it cannot even distinguish the differences between wizards and ordinary people.

If you use philosophy to construct the extraordinary, you can believe that in the later stages, the novel will definitely lead you astray.

If you use mathematics, physics and chemistry to construct the extraordinary, many common knowledge will look unqualified in the modern context, and for the author, more complex knowledge will make the novel particularly cumbersome.

For example, ‘stochastic analysis’, ‘measure theory’, ‘optical rotation’, ‘leaving group’, ‘thermodynamic free energy’, ‘entropy’ and the like.

If wizards follow this path, they will inevitably bring about the development of science and technology due to supernatural beings, and then the background of 'modern society' will quickly deviate from the reality we know.

So in this extraordinary world I built, extraordinary power does not seek power (knowledge) from the outside, but looks inward, from our hearts.

We have been frantically chasing knowledge, eager to master these tools, which can help us find our place in a society that is running at an increasingly high speed. But the more we chase, the more powerless and confused we become.

We rarely seem to pursue our inner self, which is also a tool that allows us to find a place in the complicated world.

Knowing the operating mechanism of dopamine and endorphins does not make us self-disciplined, but ambitious desires will make us burst with endless desire, tireless, boring, and incredibly focused.

The power of the mind is extraordinary to me.
