JOJO hiding in the hunter world
#5 - :Encountering an enemy
Jon tidied his hair and came out of the bathroom, while the group behind him didn't even dare to leave. Losing a fight with more than ten people against one, how could they ever face anyone at school again?
"We gave him half of our allowance, I can't swallow this."
"We have to find a chance to get back at him."
"Get back at him? Who can beat him? He knocks everyone out with one punch."
The dozen or so people fell silent, reminded of the various unequal treaties Jon had made them sign, and couldn't help but sigh.
"Are we just going to let it go like this?" Some of the younger guys, used to bullying other students, weren't happy that the underdog had suddenly become the master. It seemed to resonate with a few of them, who looked somewhat tempted.
Roya glanced at him. "If you can, go ahead." The guy immediately shut up.
The young man looked at Roya's miserable state and gave a sheepish smile. He decided to play it safe after all.
Jon returned to the classroom, and the class was surprisingly quiet. Everyone was wondering why Jon had returned unscathed. The students who had bet on what kind of punishment Jon would receive looked like they had seen a ghost.
"Jon is so cruel, using this method to lure me into attacking, then he'll have a reason to beat us up. I won't fall for it." I'm too smart to fall for your tricks. These losers don't kick as hard as Jon…
Roya seemed to have given up on revenge, always avoiding Jon whenever he saw him, which made Jon feel bored. He thought there would be a classic scene of the little one getting beaten, then the big one coming to help.
For a whole week, Roya didn't find anyone to avenge him, completely failing to satisfy Jon's desire to show off and slap faces.
"It's not that we're weak, the two sides were evenly matched… after three hundred rounds of battle, it was too late…"
Since the bathroom incident, no one dared to bother Jon anymore.
Jon still went home early as usual. Because he didn't go the same way as Boyka, Jon went home with Dana.
Summer hadn't completely faded, and the sky at five in the evening was still bright, the afterglow of the sunset dyeing the sky red. A few cicadas, the last singers of summer, were singing their final dirge. The alley was deserted, surrounded by abandoned old houses. This was the shortcut Jon took to school.
"Bang bang bang, thump," strange sounds came from the neighboring house.
"That's weird, I remember this place being empty," Dana stared at the old house where the sound came from.
Jon, of course, also heard the sound, but after all, it was someone else's house, and he didn't want to be nosy.
"Wait, you said this house has been empty all this time?" Jon's face instantly turned ugly.
Dana didn't know what was happening. "Yeah."
This feeling was like the instant vision of the Ek Village. This was the taste of trouble. Before Jon could think it through, the mud wall of the old house exploded, and a black figure was thrown directly from the second floor to the ground like a kite with a broken string.
It was a middle-aged man in a black trench coat, with stubble around his mouth, which was full of blood. Blood flowed from his mouth all the way to his chest. His right leg was bent at an unnatural angle, the flesh was blurred, revealing white bones. The man gritted his teeth, staring intently at the hole in the wall.
"Damn brat, what are you standing there for? Run!" the man whispered. Then a gun appeared in his hand, his eyes never leaving the wall.
Another figure gradually appeared in the hole. Almost at the same time, the man fired his gun, frantically pouring bullets at the figure, as if he had a cheat, with unlimited bullets, one person firing the firepower of a company.
The dense bullets made the figure's body shake, as if it had been impacted, and its legs couldn't stand steady, retreating step by step. But it didn't look like it was injured at all.
Jon didn't hesitate for a moment and immediately pulled Dana away and ran wildly. Who could withstand this? He encountered this kind of thing even when he went home for dinner. The two people looked like they were not easy to mess with. Jon could still deal with street thugs, but just now the gun was like a Gatling gun, "Da da da da da," if he tried to stop him with [Stone Free]'s hand speed and accuracy, he would definitely die.
Although he wanted to see a Nen user, he didn't expect it to come true so quickly. If it was a weak Nen user, Jon might go and test his strength, but these two ruthless people were obviously not Jon could beat.
This wasn't being a coward, but being cautious, it was called a strategic retreat.
A person wearing gray-black armor broke through the wall on the first floor and came out directly, about 1.75 meters tall, and it was impossible to tell whether it was male or female because of the armor. The man had been staring at the hole in the second floor and didn't react for a moment. The distance between the two suddenly narrowed.
"How much of your Qi is left? Such a high firepower output consumes a lot of Qi, right?" The armored man taunted the man.
"How will I know if I don't try?" The gun in the man's hand twisted and transformed into a heavy sniper rifle, the butt of the gun against the wall.
"Bang bang bang" The man fired several shots at the armored man.
This heavy sniper rifle used armor-piercing bullets, used to snipe light tanks. The bullets hit the armor, but didn't penetrate it, as if they had encountered an irresistible hard object and fell to the ground.
Although the armored man wasn't penetrated by the bullets, he still didn't feel good. His forehead instantly suffered a huge impact, his head tilted back, and he almost lost his balance and fell.
Looking at the unscathed armored man, the man fell into despair. "What kind of monster are you?"
"It's useless, didn't I tell you? My defense is invincible." The armored man slowly approached the man, it could be seen that those few bullets had exhausted the man's last bit of Qi, and even the gun in his hand couldn't be maintained and dissipated.
The armored man kicked the man's left hand, breaking it, and said coldly: "Where is the thing? If you don't tell me, I'll kill you."
The man smiled miserably. "Jackman, you'll never get it, it's in a place you'll never find."
Jackman, the armored man, punched the man's head into the wall, and it was clear he was dead. Jackman groped the corpse repeatedly, and after failing, kicked the corpse a few more times.
"Damn it, where did he hide the thing? He shouldn't have had time to transfer it, right?"
Dozens of seconds later, Jackman calmed down, he seemed to have thought of something.
"Could it be that he gave the thing to those kids just now?" Jackman thought it was possible and turned to chase after Jon.
No one noticed the thin line sticking to the wall by the roadside. This was [Stone Free]'s listening line.
"Damn it, this is troublesome." Because the man was defeated too quickly, Jon and Dana hadn't run far.
Jon had a high probability of running away alone with his strong body, plus Ripple and Stand. But Dana definitely couldn't outrun that Nen user.
Jon could run faster, but Dana couldn't. He had to think of a way. Suddenly, he heard a scream.
"Ah!" Dana was lifted up by Jackman with one hand. Dana's face was pale, and her hands were flailing.
What you wish for comes true. Jackman had just killed someone, there was still blood on his clothes, and his body was filled with a bloody smell, coupled with his fierce eyes. Dana was immediately frightened.
Jackman wanted to strangle Dana to death, and then see if he had that thing.
"Stone Free" Jon folded back, and lines kept emerging from his body, the lines condensed into a ball of lines. [Stone Free] only condensed the upper half of its body. One hand struck Jackman's hand, and taking advantage of his relaxation, the other hand threw Dana back.
At least it was a Stand with a speed of B, it ORA'd Jackman's arm five or six times at once. It must be known that from Jon summoning [Stone Free] to saving Dana and hitting Jackman, this series of actions took less than a second.
Jackman's arm was also twisted into a strange shape, definitely a fracture, Jon judged.
Jackman was careless because he thought the other party was a child, and thought it was unnecessary to waste Qi to materialize armor to deal with two children. He didn't expect that a child's Nen beast was so strong.
Jackman regarded the Stand [Stone Free] as a Nen beast.
Then a layer of armor suddenly appeared on Jackman's body, covering his whole body.
"The second round has begun." Looking at Jon's solemn expression, Jackman licked his lips.
