JOJO hiding in the hunter world

#66 - :If possible, please leave a few comments under my book every day to let me know that there ar

Sigmund switched to his Third Apostle, Hell's Eye mode, granting him X-ray vision. However, he couldn't differentiate between those using 'Zetsu' and inanimate objects. Fortunately, Schelling couldn't use Nen, so Hell's Eye was still sufficient to find him.

To evade Hell's Eye's detection, one had to use 'Zetsu'; using 'In' would only provide a limited degree of concealment.

Clusters of blue light appeared before Sigmund's eyes. There were numerous traces of Nen energy on the third floor, indicating a powerful Nen user was present.

Sigmund quickened his pace, finally standing before a door on the third floor. He mentally marked the location of the Nen energy cluster. His mask shifted again, and he materialized the revolver in his hand once more.

Yes, it was the Fifth Apostle, Western Gunslinger. He fired several shots through the wall towards the remembered location. The bullets forcefully penetrated the wall with a series of 'bangs,' indicating they had hit their target.

Sigmund kicked the door open and charged inside. "Police! Show me your hands!"

No one responded.

A figure clad in steel armor stood five meters away in the hallway. Two bullets had struck its chest, leaving a bowl-sized dent in the armor. No, not just a dent; Sigmund's bullets had created a straight line.

Through the hole, Sigmund clearly saw that the back of the armor was also pierced. Although it wasn't the left chest where the heart was, what was strange was that not a single drop of blood flowed from the wounds.

The empty gap inspired fear. Even so, a layer of Nen clung to the armor. Could the armor contain a corpse? How else could there be no blood?

The armored figure did nothing but turn and slowly walk down the hallway. Sigmund couldn't help but swallow hard.

The moment the armored figure turned, Sigmund saw clearly that the armor was empty, devoid of any mechanical components. This meant it wasn't a robot, but a creation of a Manipulation-type Nen user.

Sigmund let out a heavy breath and shook his head, following behind. "I thought so."

The hallway echoed with the metallic clang of the empty armor as it stepped on the floor. Sigmund wore shoes that reduced noise and increased grip for assassination purposes, so only the clatter of the armor and its echoes filled the corridor. The uniform distance and rhythm of the armored figure's steps made it all the more unsettling.

However, Sigmund was a seasoned veteran and wasn't particularly afraid now that he understood the principle behind it.

Finally, they reached a door leading to the main hall. The armor stopped, seemingly about to push the door open, and slowly raised its hand.

But then, the iron armor abandoned its usual slow pace, and its hand flashed out, grabbing a sword hanging at its waist. It immediately turned and charged towards Sigmund, seemingly aiming for a quick-draw strike.

However, Sigmund hadn't let his guard down and fired at the empty armor. The armor staggered back a few steps from the impact of the bullets.

Sigmund seized the opportunity to fire another shot at the armor's hand. The fingers exploded from the bullet's impact, and the sword fell to the ground.

Sigmund took advantage of this opening and kicked the empty armor away. The flying armor crashed through the door, revealing the scene in the main hall.

If Jon were present, he might have said "Holy crap!" even louder. The hall was very spacious, likely used for hosting company galas during festivals, but the chairs had been cleared away.

Two robot-like figures resembling Gundams stood on the stage. One was about two and a half meters tall, and the other was slightly taller, around three meters.

The hyper-fantasy style left Sigmund bewildered. The lithe, slender bodies were covered in thick guns and cannons. The silver-white mechanical bodies exuded a violent aesthetic.

He had just suspected high-tech robots, and now two robots with a full science-fiction vibe had actually appeared. There were also two sets of armor identical to the one Sigmund had just knocked away.

However, Sigmund wasn't flustered because of the earlier experience with the empty armor. Perhaps these two robots were just flashy but useless, like silver spears with wax heads. Maybe these two robots were also hollow, Sigmund thought maliciously.

A strange light suddenly appeared in the eyes of the pseudo-Gundams. He had thought the eyes were just decorations, but they actually lit up.

Sigmund began to suspect again if they were high-tech products, as even the lights in their eyes were lit. Maybe they were actually Cybertronians lured by Schelling.

But what he didn't know was that in the storage room below the stage, a person was hiding. She was also one of the bodyguards Schelling had hired, and she was quite attractive, although her skin was a bit dark. But most importantly, she possessed a magical weapon that gathered people's hearts - her breasts. Their volume was quite substantial, inspiring many fantasies. She was afraid of being groped by her teammates in the chaos, so she didn't want to team up with anyone.

Her ability was to control objects made of metal, such as the armor and Gundams she was manipulating. However, with her strength, she could only control five machines, and she couldn't control them if the distance exceeded one hundred meters from her body. The robots she controlled had some autonomy; they could act as long as simple instructions were given.

She was lying in the narrow storage room, and perhaps because of the two large 'evil' objects in front, she felt uncomfortable and changed her posture, turning on the remote control.

LED lights lit up in the eyes of the Gundams. Anyone who didn't know would really think they were high-end intelligent battle robots. For example, Sigmund was bluffed.

Watching Sigmund's surprised look at the lit-up Gundams on the computer screen showing the main hall's surveillance camera, she happily nodded in satisfaction with Sigmund's performance.

Kavina was born into a middle-class family. She was different from other girls since she was young. Instead of dressing up pretty Barbie dolls, she preferred the toy cars and toy guns that boys liked.

The first time Kavina came into contact with fighting robots at the age of twelve, she fell deeply in love with them. But because robots were quite expensive, she couldn't afford them. However, she didn't like robots with high combat performance; she liked their cool appearance.

By chance, Kavina became a Nen user. She called her ability 'Mechanical Life,' and she could share the vision of the mechanical life forms she controlled and issue commands to arrange formations.

Kavina had a mischievous hobby: watching others being kept in the dark.

On the other side, Sigmund was in a major crisis. The medieval-style armor that had been beaten into a mess by Sigmund stood up again.

The Gundams on the stage and the other identical hollow armors also jumped down from the stage, preparing to surround Sigmund.

Sigmund fired frantically, but these two Gundams were indeed completely different from those cheap, gaudy knock-offs that looked like they were bought on Taobao. The bullets, comparable to shotgun shells, could only leave small dents on the surface and couldn't penetrate.

The larger Gundam suddenly stopped, raised its arm, and the Gatling gun-like weapon strapped to its hand began to fire. Sigmund barely dodged the first burst of fire by rolling away.

The gunfire stopped, not because there were no bullets, but because the other Gundam had already approached Sigmund.

"S-H-I-T!" Sigmund, who was usually refined, gentle, and highly cultured, couldn't help but curse.

At the same time, Jon and Paws, who were waiting above, also heard the ear-piercing gunshots.

"It's time to go," Paws turned to Jon and said pretentiously.

Jon also gave a charming smile (imagine Joseph Joestar when he came up with the tequila girl idea). Jon slowly got up from the sofa, picked up the watermelon from the glass table in front of him, and followed.
