Journey to the Wizarding World of Hogwarts

Chapter 295 Peeves’ conspiracy

Ron didn't know what Harry was thinking, and he glared at Myrtle angrily.

This damn ghost actually dares to bully his lovely sister! Absolutely unforgivable!

"Oh, nothing," he said in a sarcastic tone, "we were just discussing a boring ghost."

"Ghost?" Myrtle repeated the word. No emotion could be heard, but she clenched her palms, which at least proved that her mood at the moment was not as calm as it seemed.

"Of course." Ron shouted, raising his voice, "We are talking about a fat woman who only hides in the toilet and cries! An ugly guy with acne on his face but thinks he is a beautiful girl!"

He looked at Myrtle with malicious eyes and asked maliciously, "You know who we are talking about, don't you? Myrtle?"

Hearing those insulting words, Myrtle raised her head and looked at him in disbelief, tears falling quickly from her transparent little eyes.

"No, that's not what he meant!" Harry, sweating profusely, grabbed Ron and tried to comfort the ghost in front of him, "He was just fainted from hunger and talking nonsense!"

However, Ron didn't care about his kindness at all. His shoulders shook, and with a strong arm, he easily shook off his hand, "I'm talking about you! Myrtle!"

Myrtle let out a sharp, eardrum-piercing cry, and Harry couldn't help covering his ears as he watched her run out of the dungeon.

Peeves quickly followed her and laughed, hitting her with all kinds of weird things, "Fat woman! Ugly! Full of acne!"

Moldy oranges, hairy beans, and unknown foods as black as stones followed Myrtle, and terrible cries echoed in the castle.

"How could you say that about her!" Harry glared at Ron.

"Come on, she deserves it." Ron waved his hand nonchalantly, "Who asked her to bully Ginny?"

Harry felt that what he said was wrong. You couldn't say that the other party had bullied Ginny, and you had to use such vicious words to attack the other party, especially Myrtle was still a girl.

As if he knew what Harry wanted to say, Ron laughed loudly, "Harry, you don't think she is a girl, do you? She is at least over 60 years old, okay? She has been an old woman for a long time, she is just pretending to be young. That’s all!”

"Even so, you can't insult her." Harry said seriously, "We should give her some respect."

Ron looked at him in disbelief, "Don't you have a crush on that fat woman? God, Harry, you have such a strong taste!"

Harry's head was covered with black lines, and he looked at Ron unkindly, wondering if he should punch this guy and let him go to the hospital to lie down for a few more days.

At this time, Nearly Headless Nick floated up from the crowd. He was very happy that so many people came to his party, especially since he invited Harry Potter. "Have a good time, boy?"

"Oh, of course." Harry forced a smile, "I've never seen ghosts play the piano before!"

"That's Music Saw." Nick introduced enthusiastically, "I've never seen it before. Music Saw is a famous ghost band in recent years. They have created many instruments suitable for ghosts. Listen to this music."

He showed a satisfied expression, "What a music of despair and fear, it's so beautiful."

Ron curled his lips and made a face at Harry.

"Well, my time to speak is almost up, I'd better go give the band a heads up." Nick said, "I wish you a good time, young wizards."

At this moment, the band suddenly stopped playing, and every ghost in the dungeon stopped what they were doing and looked around excitedly.

A hunting horn sounded.

"Oh, no." Nearly headless Nick groaned in pain, "They are coming."

Who is coming?

Harry thought in confusion, feeling that the temperature in the dungeon had dropped a bit.

"Xilulu——" 12 ghost horses suddenly ran out from the dungeon wall. Each horse had a headless horseman. They shuttled through the air, making elegant and dangerous movements, and then gathered together, arranging Line up, charge, charge!

Their steps were in unison, and their momentum was inexhaustible. Stimulated by them, the ghosts stood up and clapped excitedly, and Harry and Ron also clapped their hands with admiration.

Nick looked at the group of headless horsemen expressionlessly.

Harry happened to turn around and saw his gloomy face, and couldn't help but stop applauding, not knowing what to do for a moment.

Finally, the twelve ghost horses ran to the center of the dance floor, stopped suddenly, stood upright on their hind legs, and then kicked up their hind hooves to rush forward.

"Xilulu——"

The show is over.

Immediately at the front was a large ghost—probably their captain. He put his bearded head under his arm and blew a horn in his mouth.

He jumped off the horse, raised his head high in the air, and bowed to everyone. Everyone laughed, applauded, and cheered to celebrate the successful completion of their performance.

Then, he directed the knights to dismount and join the party. The ghost horses left the dungeon with graceful steps, got into the wall, and disappeared.

The captain strode towards the almost headless Nick. He put his head on his neck carelessly and called to Nick, "Nick! How are you? Is your head still hanging there?"

He laughed wildly and patted the nearly headless Nick on the shoulder.

"Welcome, Patrick." Nick's attitude was very blunt. It was obvious that he did not welcome this guy.

Sir Patrick didn't care about his attitude, but looked at Harry and Ron with interest, "Wow, alive!" He jumped up high in surprise, but his head fell off again, which attracted all the ghosts. The whole room burst into laughter.

"Very funny," Nearly Headless Nick said with a straight face, his compliment not meant at all.

"Leave Nick alone!" Sir Patrick's head shouted from the floor. "He's still upset that we didn't let him join the Hunters! But I want to say... look at this guy, he's not scary at all! "

The ghosts cheered, which made Nick's expression grow darker.

"I think," Harry said in a panic, remembering his agreement with Nick, "Nick is very scary, that..."

He was a little stuck. Without any ideas, he was weak, pitiful and helpless.

"Haha!" cried Sir Patrick's head. "I suppose he told you to say that!"

"Hey, are you the Headless Horseman?" Someone picked up his head. To Sir Patrick's horror, the person who picked up his head turned out to be a living person!
