Kingdom’s Bloodline

Chapter 172 Master of Magic

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?"

In the bustling street where people were coming and going, Thales held up the little shabby hat on his head and quietly asked Hilley beside him.

Miss Kevin Deere has long since changed back to her practical and simple traveling clothes, her hair has been messed up into a bird's nest again, and she even put a little dust on her face. No one would think so if she saw her on the street. This is a noble lady.

"It's nothing. You used to always wear fancy clothes, but today I see that you are surprisingly suitable for such a poor person."

Thales' expression froze.

"What do you mean? What does 'surprisingly suitable' mean?"

He touched the standard "civilian passerby" costume that he had taken out of the theater, with the corners ragged and ragged, and looked strange.

"It's just your skin. It's too pampered and doesn't match." Xi Lai ignored his question, "Ah, yes, don't move."

The eldest lady patted the wall skillfully, then held His Highness the Prince's face without any resistance ("What are you doing, don't, no, let go..."), wiped and rubbed vigorously.

"Well, it's much better now."

Xi Lai looked at the work in front of him, nodded with satisfaction, then retracted his gaze and walked away: "Okay, don't be naughty, follow up quickly, the target is moving."

His Royal Highness was left alone, or to be precise, the little poor Thales with a dusty face and a fire-colored face, waving his fists and jumping around in anger.

As the most famous tourist and entertainment destination, the major streets in Iris District are filled with celebrating crowds:

Drunkards holding wine barrels and glasses in broad daylight are all over the streets looking for people to clink glasses drunkenly; drunkards stumbling around in alleys are obviously drunk and hangovers; foreign luxury guests carry interpreters with them and are gesticulating. It was luxurious; the flower girls carried baskets full of flowers and smiled when they saw couples shopping; a group of ocean-going sailors who had temporarily docked in the Emerald City gathered together and sang "Merman Has No Dad" and "End of the Sea Eye" in unison "This is Your Home", the lyrics are rude and vulgar and can't be heard ("The baby shark cried and asked his mother, why do I have no father in the whole sea? Hey! Because the brave sailors drank wine every day and happily stood on the deck facing the sea. "Happy hair!"), passing parents had to plug their children's ears and warn them that if they don't work hard when they are young, they will become sailors when they grow up;

Parade groups that pass by on the road from time to time set up stages on the spot to promote the reputation of their troupes or troupes; local escorts and tour guides from the Emerald City can appear in every nook and cranny, looking for outsiders to recommend themselves enthusiastically; from taverns, hotels, teahouses and restaurants Or the helpers of other small shops, dragging people all over the street looking for business; and the vendors pushing carts selling trinkets, wishing to occupy the street stalls in every corner, and performing acrobatics at the intersections where people come and go. Artists, carriages carrying rich and noble guests to various appointments and banquets, of course, the most indispensable ones are the tourists who walk through the streets and alleys in gorgeous clothes...

"The best fireworks in a festival gift tube made of crystal powder, imported from Hanbul, made with Yanhai craftsmanship, and assembled with precision by local craftsmen. They are the same style used by the Queen of Kongming Palace!"

Thales and Hilley, who were walking low-key, passed a vendor who was pushing a cart full of fireworks and firecrackers. While shouting and selling, he struggled to drive away the noisy children around him:

"Twenty coppers for one shot! Sixty for five shots, one hundred for ten shots! Buy more and get more. Bundles with multiple flames will give you better results!"

The target pursued by defense attorneys Srimani Tails and Shilay walked alone on the street after the theater, mixed with the crowd, watched the performance here and applauded, visited the vendors and bought flowers there, but no matter where he was, he was nowhere to be found. No matter how long I stayed, I would look back nervously from time to time along the way, appearing to be distracted and preoccupied.

"Slimani is a well-known defense attorney in the city. He is familiar with the city's laws and is eloquent. He is well-connected in both the police hall and the trial hall, so his fees are high." Shilay squatted in front of a busy stall and pretended to Playing with a doll, "But the higher he charges, the more dignitaries come to him to defend him in court."

"I know. I have seen his behavior in the trial court. Even Judge Brennan, who is as harsh as Judge Brennan, can't find fault with him." Thales squatted next to her, but he kept paying attention to the person sitting in the court with his peripheral vision. Outside the restaurant opposite, Slimani was in a daze over a glass of wine, "But when Slimani just talked to Kaguire, he didn't have any eloquent demeanor..."

"Indeed, he looked gloomy along the way, not like a citizen of the Emerald City should look like during the Queen's Day celebration."

"He must know something," Thales nodded and whispered, "Whether it's about the dead Diop or the people and things involved behind it. Those things frightened him and made him have to find it. Caguire asks for news from the palace."

In the distance, Slimani exhaled and seemed to have made up his mind. He dropped a few coins and left his seat, as well as the glass of wine on the table that he had never drank.

Hilley put down the doll and stood up together with Thales, making the stall owner who was expecting them to buy something look disappointed.

"Then are you going to show up to find him?"

"It can't be here, it will be easily discovered by Zhan's eyes and ears. We have to wait for him to go to a sparsely populated place..."

"Then Xiao Zhili moved him emotionally and said, 'Come on, join Prince Thales, and let's defeat the great demon Zhan together'?"

The two of them rejoined the crowd and stood behind Srimani. They watched as he first rewarded a group of performers with a few copper coins, then stopped a flower girl and listlessly carried flowers in her basket. .

"If it really doesn't work," Thales shook his head, ignoring the sarcasm in the other person's words, "we can only ask him in a 'civilized, polite and polite way'."

"What's the meaning?"

"The story in Star Lake Guard is related to one of my subordinates named Morgan. Where did you get the flowers?"

Thales looked at the bouquet of flowers that suddenly appeared in Shilai's hand in surprise. There were at least three colors or categories in it.

"Of course it's from you!" Kevin Deere's eldest lady said confidently.

"What?"

Thales was startled and turned his head: at some point, a little flower seller carrying a flower basket stood beside them, looking at Thales with a smile on her face and full of hope.

Xi Lai raised his eyebrows:

"Oh? Could it be that you don't plan to buy me flowers on the date?"

Thales' expression froze.

A few minutes later, Heilai was walking on the street, happily playing with the flowers in his hands, while Thales was touching his wallet, which was more deflated, and thinking about the reason he wanted to pay Zhan En.

"Be happy," Heilai broke out a flower and inserted it into the hole in Thales' hat. "We are following after all. We need to blend in with the crowd and behave naturally so as not to be seen as a flaw."

While talking, Slimani held a bouquet of flowers, walked around and hesitated for a while outside an inconspicuous hair-shaving shop, and finally walked in.

Thales and Hilley quickly stopped, pretending to be tired tourists, and sat down on a broken stone slab across the street to rest.

"I can't believe that he has been walking around like a headless fly for so long, and then he came to, um, shave his head?" Thales was a little helpless.

"Compared to this," Hilley said, "On the days of the Emerald Celebration, there are actually shops open for business?"

Thales shook his head. He awakened the sin of Hell River, entered the "Hell Senses", focused on his vision and hearing, and observed the movement in the shop across the crowded streets.

"Welcome, shave or trim your beard?"

Several waiters in the barber shop were sitting casually on the floor, playing cards here and there. When they saw the customers coming, one of the waiters lazily stood up and pulled out his chair under the urging and jostling of his companions. The covering cloth is worn as an apron and tied around the waist.

Slimani took a deep breath: "I..."

"I'm sorry, our manicurist went back to the countryside to get married."

The shaver's face was full of reluctance. He picked up a razor, dipped it in water, and scratched it casually on the whetstone: "But there is a discount during the Queen's Day. If two people go together, one person is free of charge..."

Slimani smiled unnaturally. He walked to a vase in the shop, took away the dead branches and inserted the newly bought flowers crookedly into it.

The boy's eyes changed and he stopped sharpening the knife in his hand.

"Oh, nice flowers," the waiter winked at his companions, and the others dropped their cards one after another, "Are you a regular customer?"

"Yes, I think, I want to find Balta," the defense attorney said with a confused face, "I was here a few days ago, you should recognize me."

After Slimani finished speaking, he took out a few copper coins from his pocket.

The guys in the store looked at each other. The guy who spoke nodded and took the copper coins skillfully.

"The boss has gone out and won't be back for a while. But if anything happens, you can leave a message and we will convey it to you word for word."

Slimani was stunned and a little confused:

"What? Balta is out? At this time?"

"Yes, this time!"

The shaver weighed the copper coins in his hand and seemed a little dissatisfied: "Do you have any objections?"

Slimani was affected by the other party's attitude and his face turned ugly, but he still took a deep breath and said patiently:

"No, of course not, I just... But this is the Emerald Festival. What on earth does he have to go out for..."

"Going to a party with old friends!" the lead guy said impatiently.

"Hey, stop talking nonsense! Either leave a message, shave your head, or get out," another guy said rudely, "We are not the police department. We still have a holiday, we have to celebrate, and we have to go back to spend time with my wife and children, okay?"

As soon as these words came out, several guys had bad expressions.

Srimani is a well-respected defense attorney who seldom suffers from such leisure. He looked unhappy when he heard this and was about to walk away angrily. However, he turned around halfway, gritted his teeth and turned back, not without heartache. Take out a silver coin.

"Okay, then I, can I wait here for the boss to come back?"

The guys exchanged glances. The leader had just taken off his apron. He smiled and pointed at the hair art paintings plastered all over the wall.

A few minutes later, Srimani put on a scarf and a cover, sat uneasily on a chair, and let the leading man trim his beard and hair with a sharp razor.

"Great," Heeley sighed, untying the flowers out of boredom, "Now we still have to stay here, waiting for him to finish shaving his head. This is a more realistic spy experience."

"Those people in the shop, they hang out on the street." Thales lowered his head and took out the flowers from his hat.

Xi Lai's eyes moved: "How do you know?"

"Have you ever seen a hairdresser with such a rude attitude, as if he is waiting for customers to come and beg him?"

"That's not necessarily true," Heeley curled his lips, "I know one who holds scissors and razors like he's holding a magic gun."

Thales shook his head:

"There is only one explanation: in this shop, they are not in the business of shaving hair, but selling other things."

"for example?"

"I don't know, but I think they should be members of the Blood Bottle Gang, or a small gang affiliated with the Blood Bottle Gang."

Hillage said: "How do you know?"

"Because they're not like a fraternity."

"What?"

"The Blood Bottle Gang and the Black Street Brotherhood have different sources of personnel. The difference is obvious. It can be seen in their demeanor, movements, habits, and the level at which they interact. And those guys are obviously..." Thales subconsciously Authentic, but he immediately noticed the suspicious look cast by Sheilai, "Oh, I, I heard what Wya said, he, um, is well-informed."

Hilley glanced at him and rearranged the order of the flowers in his hand.

"Waia again?"

"Uh, yes, it's Wyatt again."

"Which Wya?"

"Just, a certain Wyatt."

Hilley, who was full of contempt, and Thales, who was smiling awkwardly, looked at each other for a second.

"Well, I have to say that your 'certain Huai Ya' is quite knowledgeable." Facing the crowded street, Hilley curled his lips. "He was at least half right."

"half?"

"The Brotherhood only entered Emerald City more than ten years ago, and its influence is only in the Beimen Bridge area in the new suburbs. But the Blood Bottle Gang, as I said, they are local snakes and are familiar with the rules of the streets of Emerald City," Hilley Said, "In their place, you rarely see the kind of public security crimes like other places: theft, extortion, kidnapping, robbery, murder, all the bad things that keep businessmen away."

"how do you know?"

"Please, Your Highness, I grew up here."

"No, what I'm asking is, how do you know what 'other places' are like?"

Hilley glanced at him.

"Oh, this is what I heard from 'Waiya'."

Thales shrugged helplessly and bit "Which Huaiya" to death in his mouth.

So vindictive.

Thales changed the topic:

"Then I guess, here, taking the Blood Bottle Gang as an example, the way they go to the streets to make a living is also different?"

"Yes, they are integrated into the normal economy and production to a large extent. At most, they are a little out of the ordinary."

"For example?"

Hilley thought for a while:

"Rather than gangs, they are more like guilds. People with the same profession, the same situation, and the same region gather in one place: barbers, shoemakers, blacksmiths, printers, coachmen, porters..."

"Then how do they get the money to operate?"

"Protection fees, tax collection, transportation fees, intermediary fees, cooperation with large chambers of commerce, industry joint monopoly, and operating gray businesses in the cracks of the law... They use legal and illegal methods to get a share of the prosperous Emerald City trade. Geng, I heard that some of them are even directly involved in the business, almost like businessmen, and as long as they stay within the bottom line, the Police Department will even cooperate with them. "

Thales frowned: "It sounds like an informal street city management."

"Who says it isn't?"

"And this is the result of generations of connivance and instigation by Kevin Deere?"

"It's 'co-opting' and 'exploiting,'" Healey corrected. "My great-grandfather, the Duke of Cork, believed that there are always things in this world that cannot be completely controlled, and that 'there are always cracks in good bread.' "

"Your great-grandfather...the one who asked the menstrual maid to entertain vampire guests?"

"What?"

"fine."

While chatting, Thales was paying attention to the movements in the barber shop.

"I really didn't expect that the Duke of South Bank is quite knowledgeable," a card player chatted. "When I came to the store today, I even asked about where our razors and ointments are purchased from, what prices they are, and the market fluctuations. Ask, unlike those knights in my country who only know how to show off."

Srimani, who was sitting on the chair absentmindedly, was shocked when he heard this.

"Hey, what's that?"

The waiter who was shaving Slimani’s head held a cigarette in his mouth and did not bother to answer:

"I heard from the boss that Kevin Deere's family has invested in a lot of business, of course. They have mines at home, and the lime business in the territory alone is enough for him to make money. In short, if the Duke wants to pretend to be knowledgeable, he can't It couldn't be easier! Besides, how do you know it wasn't a cheat sheet prepared by his staff in advance?"

"what are you saying?"

Slimani reacted and turned pale:

"You mean, Duke Zhan has been here today?"

"Isn't that right?" the clerk continued without noticing Slimani's expression, "Your Majesty is on a parade. The Duke's team passed through this street in the morning, and our shop was very lucky. The Duke was chosen to go deep into the people, and he must A model store, haha, do you believe it? We are a model? Hahaha!

"Compared with Roger and Gutierrez's business, of course we are a model! Craftsmen! Why isn't it worthy of the Duke to go to the people for a tour?" The card player said with a good face.

"Going deep into the people? Damn! Just like those knights in your countryside, just for show!"

The guy who shaved his head changed his hand to flick the cigarette ashes, as if he was bitter and resentful:

"It is said that they imitate the kings and queens from hundreds of years ago when they paraded among the people, but in fact it is the same every year. However, there are a few fixed routes around the Emerald City, and a large number of servants and servants are waiting on them in front of and behind them. No matter how shiny the little Duke is, They walked down in crowds, smiling and shaking hands with ordinary people like us, and asking questions like, 'How old are you this year, how many people in your family are eating well, and whether you are wearing warm clothes and taking care of yourself?' etc..."

Another guy playing cards turned around and laughed: "I know it's very safe and very hypocritical to give another long and smelly nonsense speech of 'I'm fine with you, I'll be better with you'" …”

The shaved guy shook his head and pinched his throat:

"Of course. Basically everyone smiled and nodded in agreement, excitedly saying, 'We're having a great time.'"

Slimani stared blankly at himself in the broken mirror, swallowed his throat, and joined in the chat:

"Then, they, I mean, when you face Duke Zhan and 'smirk and nod', are you sincere?"

The guy who was shaving his head raised his eyebrows and shook the razor: "Yes, of course!"

He smiled sarcastically:

"Do you know how you feel when the majestic Grand Duke stands in front of you? Especially when you know that he can crush you to death with just a move of his fingers... Ha, when he blinks his eyelids, your heart trembles It's so scary, he grins, your legs are trembling!"

After hearing this, Slimani shook his head and gritted his teeth.

"Sorry, I shaved it crookedly in excitement just now. I'll fix it for you."

The guy who was shaving his head lit another cigarette, changed a pair of scissors, and shook his head disdainfully.

Slimani stared blankly in the mirror. He was always strict about hairstyles, but he ignored this mistake that would have driven him crazy in the past.

Across the street, Thales was also entranced, rubbing the flowers in his hands unconsciously.

A guy playing cards lost a hand. He threw down his cards in displeasure and took out a few coins:

"I know, especially when there are officials, big and small, standing behind the Duke. They are shouting in front and back, frightened, smiling, and dozens of pairs of eyes staring at you, waiting for your answer!"

The guy who won the round laughed loudly and happily gathered the money:

"And at the end of the line, the official who is directly in charge of your livelihood and can make you miserable just by looking for excuses to check taxes is still looking at you with a smile and encouragement on his face, 'Come on, say whatever you want. , don’t be afraid, tell the truth to the Duke’!”

"To be honest, he's paralyzed!"

"The truth? Like, 'Hey, Lord Duke, can you melt down the gold urinal in the palace and give us a little more salary'?"

"Dare you say that to your face? If you want to become an official, you will have to find Qingpi who is in charge of this area. Then Qingpi will find the boss. When the boss comes back, he will melt you down first!"

"Hahahahaha..."

"I can't help it. They are adults, lords, and nobles with good fortunes. If they melt, what will happen to you? Brother, sit tight and don't move around. If I get shaved, it's yours!"

Slimani nodded reluctantly, suppressing his trembling body.

"At that time, let alone a small complaint," the shaved waiter exhaled a puff of cigarette smoke and continued, "No matter how great your grievances and pains, thousands of words can still be combined into one sentence that understands current affairs, 'Life is good. Yes, thank you sir, right? Hey, who can say, who dares to say that this is not sincere? This is better than the groveling and humiliating way when I asked the boss for unpaid wages, "I know, I know, thank you for your efforts." You need to be sincere and sincere!”

"One copper coin," one of the guys in the card game chuckled, "I won't tell Boss Balta this."

"Fuck you!"

"Hey, you guys are still very dissatisfied. Just be satisfied." In the midst of the fun, Slimani said nervously, "The Duke shakes hands with you and says hello with a smile. What else do you want?"

The guys exchanged looks.

Slimani said in a daze: "As a Duke, Master Zhann cares about the people's sufferings and your livelihood. He is always above him and doesn't care about shit, okay? For example, the group of people in the north, such as the gentlemen in the royal capital? "

The guy who was playing cards scratched his head: "Well, that's true, but at the time, I thought... Oh, I just didn't feel right anyway."

"He cares about a hammer!"

The guy who was shaving his head dropped the scissors, grabbed the razor and started trimming Slimani’s beard:

"Don't look at the Duke's smiling face, and he looks so easy to get along with... But I know, I just know, he doesn't care so much! Maybe when he turns around, he will quietly talk to his subordinates about those fucking shaved heads. It's so dirty!"

"Oh, now you've revealed your secret, haven't you! The Duke is a nobleman and a man of culture," the card player said lazily, "They know a lot of words, and they are all well-mannered, but they don't know how to use swear words!"

"He is a damn Duke! Lord of the Emerald City!"

The guy who shaved his head sneered:

"What he should do is not go to our shop and put on a silly smile, shake hands that are useless, and then wait for everyone to applaud and say that this trivial matter is useless? He should sit in Kongming Palace and sign a document. Appropriate a budget, repair the big hole in front of this street, and stop the green men from using credit to increase business. By the way, lower the litigation deposit for wage arrears lawsuits. Don't make it so that only the bosses are the ones. Can afford to litigate..."

"For two coppers, I won't tell the boss!"

"roll!"

"He has to do that to show off and appease people," an older waiter slowly poured himself a glass of water. "It's the same as Mr. Fergie who wants to go shopping and visit other bosses from time to time. Of course , Bosses everywhere are polite on the surface, but secretly they don’t like him very much.”

"But the bosses are still playing tricks on Fergie," the card player reminded.

"Emerald City is different from Wangdu, and we are different from Black Silk. The upper class members are the upper class members, but it just means 'I recognize you as the boss, but you don't bother me anymore.'" The shaved boy laughed. "The bosses in various territories have made businesses in all walks of life so prosperous. Who is willing to cut off their flesh and blood? As for Boss Fogg, yes, he is the boss in name only, but he wants to have a hand in these businesses like a king taking care of a duke? Hehe, It’s difficult!”

In the shop, Slimani just sat blankly on the chair, motionless, letting the man's razor trim it back and forth.

Across the street, Thales clenched his fists.

"What are you doing in a daze? What are you thinking about?"

Thales was shocked to find that it was the bored Xi Lai who was holding flowers and drawing circles back and forth in front of his eyes.

"that power."

Thales sighed, remembering the battle of wits and courage with the Black Prophet in the secret department, and said with emotion:

"Many times, power does not have to act at all. As long as it stays there quietly and maintains its posture, it can exert unimaginable influence."

Xi Lai stared at him and said nothing for a long time.

"Okay, you're done shaving, can you take a look?"

In the barber shop, the waiter lifted off the scarf and cover and stretched out his hand to Slimani with a smile.

Slimani came back to his senses and had no time to care about his shaved head, and asked quickly:

"Baltar hasn't come back yet?"

The waiter shrugged, but did not take back his flat palms:

"The boss went to meet friends. He may have drunk too much. He might not come back."

Srimani frowned and took out a silver coin without thinking and put it into the hand of the clerk. The latter was startled and hurriedly hid it in his clothes to avoid being seen by his fellow workers.

"Okay, I figured it out. Have you offended a big shot?"

Slimani's expression changed upon hearing this:

"You, how do you know?"

The guy smiled slyly:

"Don't forget, we are barbers. Who else, like us, can make people, like you, willingly let down all guard and expose your eyes, nose, throat and other fragile organs to the threat of a sharp razor so calmly and dangerously? "

Srimani looked at the guy in shock.

"Only at this time, in this chair where people are allowed to be slaughtered, will people show their most relaxed and true side." The clerk touched the inner pocket containing the coins. "At this time, the news you get, They are often the most reliable, and the eyesight of us guys was trained by Boss Balta, but it’s poisonous.”

Srimani was speechless.

"They really didn't shave their heads!"

Across the street, Thales took a deep breath and suddenly said:

"The shop is just a front. These people are buying and selling underground information."

"How do you know?" Xi Lai looked suspicious.

"I……"

Thales paused for a moment before he realized what he was doing and lied unnaturally:

"Well, did you see Slimani handing them silver coins? But the guy didn't give anything, he just talked about it, so the transaction can only be news, right?"

Xi Lai narrowed his eyes, his eyes filled with disbelief.

Thales could only smile dryly.

The boy in the shop patted Slimani on the chair and said to him in the mirror:

"Well, since you are quite wealthy, don't say I didn't warn you: you are in trouble."

Slimani was surprised: "What?"

The boy turned his fingers, and the razor was playing tricks on his hand:

"Well, there's that young couple across the street, the poor boy and the flower girl. They've been sitting there for a long time, not kissing or selling flowers." Are you here to break up?"

The poor boy and the flower girl, Thales' eyes changed drastically!

"You mean...I'm being followed?" In the shop, Slimani's expression changed drastically and he quickly looked across the street!

"Oops!"

Across the street, Thales gritted his teeth. He quickly looked away and grabbed Shilai's hand:

"We were seen through by them!"

Xi Lai trembled all over!

She took out her hands as if they were being burned, put them in her arms and tightened her gloves, letting the flowers scatter all over the floor, her voice trembling:

"How do you know?"

"I just know that they are doubting us. Don't look there! Let's go quickly." Thales was about to stand up, but he was stopped by Hilley, who looked unhappy, holding his shoulders.

"etc!"

Xi Lai calmed down his breathing and gritted his teeth and said:

"It's too late to leave now, it will only make things more suspicious."

"What should we do?"

"Cooperate with me," Heeley looked at the pedestrians on the street, "let's put on a show."

"What kind of show are you playing?"

The next second, without waiting for Thales to react, Hilley moved forward and reached out to take off Thales' hat.

"Uh, don't." Looking at the girl who was so close that he could even see her eyelashes, Thales felt a little uncomfortable, "Although I don't object, it's too much to pretend to be a couple at this time...and your brother can..."

"The devil wants to pretend to be a couple with you!"

Hilley denied him coldly, making Thales embarrassed.

The next second, Hilley stood up, threw Thales' hat into the sky, and said loudly with a smile on his face:

"Okay, enough rest! The show continues! Guys, don't miss it!"

Xi Lai's voice was soft and pleasant, and the people walking on the street gradually attracted their attention and stopped in front of Xi Lai.

Thales sat there blankly, unable to react.

But he also noticed that in the barber shop across the street, the originally skeptical waiter and Slimani were also stunned.

The next second, Hilley turned around and threw a death-eye knife full of murderous intent at Thales.

His Highness the Prince suddenly stood up, smiled, and opened his arms to the people on the street:

"Take a look, take a look, it's a pity to miss it. It's a pity to pass by. Take a look, everyone is here to take a look!"

Heilai shouted loudly, reached out deftly, caught the hat falling from the sky, clasped his arm in, pulled out a handful of flower petals, and sprinkled them on the street!

Flowers rained down from the sky, and amid the chorus of exclamations from the street audience, Hilley smiled like a flower and posed in a gesture of thanks for watching:

"The Emerald Celebration is full of joy! The magic family from a mysterious land, and the street magic masters Waiya and Waiana, brother and sister who have been passed down to this day, are here to present you with a wonderful magic show!"
