Chapter Thirteen What kind of eyes do you have?

Cedric bit into a piece of apple pie while watching Noah feed Keya.

Keya was struggling to swallow a piece of fish that had been cut into long strips. However, the piece of fish was thicker than it, so Keya's mouth was swollen several times. Coupled with the snake's eating appearance, it looked a bit oozing.

.

"I should have thought of it when I saw Keya." Cedric couldn't help laughing, "Of course you should go to Slytherin to raise snakes. After all, your symbol is a snake."

"Then I was asked if I had a snake accent."

"Isn't it?"

"Do I look the part?"

Cedric shrugged and didn't answer. It's really easy to equate pets like snakes with snake talk.

Koya ate a piece of fish, and his belly was only slightly bulging. Obviously, its digestion ability is far superior to that of ordinary snakes.

Noah habitually picked up a piece of fish again and handed it to it.

Even though it's only a six-inch snake, this guy can digest food three times its size.

Cedric finished eating quickly and said goodbye to Noah. Judging from his hurried appearance, he must be busy with something.

Once Cedric left, the house elves stopped approaching Noah.

These guys didn't seem to have a good impression of Slytherin students, not to mention that Noah also raised a snake, so he didn't look like a good wizard.

Noah didn't care much about their opinions. It wasn't until Keya expressed that he was full that he took Keya out of the kitchen and continued his adventure in the castle.

He already knew enough about the underground building, so Noah went directly to the first floor.

But not long after walking, I met two people.

They are two twins who met once in a robe shop.

Their steps were a bit hurried, and they almost collided directly with Noah when they turned the corner.

Fortunately, Noah still turned on the detection magic and avoided the car in time to avoid the collision.

The two Weasley twins didn't notice Noah either. They glanced behind them and ran away in a hurry.

Noah was a little confused, but instinctively felt something was wrong.

Sure enough, he soon met a figure approaching. He was thin and even scary, with two protruding eyeballs. When he looked at Noah, there was a strong malicious intent in his eyes.

Noah frowned, not liking this kind of sight.

His frown seemed to be interpreted as some kind of disgust by the man opposite him. The man who was sitting at the end of the professor's chair last night suddenly squinted his eyes and looked at him: "Look what I found, a man wandering around in the castle."

The little wizard."

"Professor," Noah frowned deeper, "I'm just getting familiar with the environment of the castle."

"Familiar with the environment of the castle, huh." He chuckled, but when he was about to say something, he was interrupted by a harsh cat meow.

His expression suddenly changed: "What are you carrying?!"

His voice was sharp and harsh, and he directly raised his hand to grab Noah.

Noah reacted very quickly and took a step back, avoiding the arm he grabbed: "Professor."

"You must have something dangerous on you!" Argus Filch, the administrator, seemed convinced that Noah had something dangerous on him, and the evidence was his cat.

The haggard tabby cat stared at Noah with its bulging eyes like Filch, as if staring at something scary. It laid its two forelimbs on the ground and kept making threatening gasps from its mouth.

, seems to be ready to pounce on Noah and take a bite at any time.

Noah took a step back and caught a glimpse of this frighteningly skinny cat from the corner of his eye. There was some kind of weak fluorescence in his eyes, making Noah's already metallic eyes look colder and alien.

Ordinary people.

Keya, who felt that Noah was threatened, was also ready to move. It swam from Noah's upper arm to the cuff, and lurked in the cuff, waiting for the enemy on the opposite side to attack him and give him a bite.

Although the poisonous sac has not yet fully developed, being bitten by it is extremely uncomfortable.

It is no ordinary snake after all.

Keenly aware of its intentions, Noah buttoned his cuffs slightly, and the glimmer in his eyes became stronger.

This vague sense of threat made the cat even angrier, and it seemed that it could no longer hold back and wanted to pounce on him.

Filch sneered and raised his hand to grab Noah again.

"What are you doing?" A voice suddenly interrupted. Filch's hand paused in the air and he turned to look at the source of the voice.

The light in Noah's eyes quickly faded, dissipating the stored magic.

Snape was standing at the entrance of the corridor, staring at the two of them with gloomy eyes.

"Professor Snape." Noah took a few steps back, retreated from Filch, and glanced at the cat that was still staring at him. "Mr. Administrator seems to think I am carrying something dangerous."

Snape's expression became even more gloomy. He glanced at Noah unkindly and then looked at Filch: "Administrator Filch, you ate scurvy or sneezeweed by mistake, which caused you to have encephalitis."

Are you so reckless that you would attack a student at will? Maybe you should go take a look at your brain or recipes instead of threatening the students of my college here."

He was spitting "venomous juice" and the sarcasm on his face almost overflowed.

Filch's expression became even worse after what he said. In the end, he could only look at Noah bitterly and quickly left the corridor. However, as he left, he was still muttering: "Just wait, we will find him sooner or later."

It's your fault."

Seeing that its owner had left, the cat didn't dare to stay any longer. It growled unwillingly at Noah and ran away quickly.

"Professor Snape, thank you for your help." Noah thanked him.

But Snape is not an appreciative person. He sprayed Filch because Noah was a student of his college. However, this protection is only his duty as the dean. It does not mean that he will not spray poison on Noah.

juice.

The pair of dark eyes that were so gloomy that they could hardly reflect any light looked at Noah: "Really? I even wonder if there is something wrong with the Sorting Hat. I almost thought you were a Gryffindor, and your ability to cause trouble is not as good as yours."

Those reckless guys are exactly the same."

"I'm sorry, Professor." Noah apologized with a cold voice, his posture was in place, but there was no apology in his tone, it was more like a routine.

Snape choked on the venom he was about to spit out at this apology. He squinted his eyes and met Noah's gaze. No emotion could be read from those calm eyes.

There was no anger or impatience, and certainly no fear or apology.

"What's that look in your eyes?" Snape asked subconsciously, but he quickly came back to his senses and withdrew his gaze and stopped looking at Noah. "You'd better not be caught doing any disciplinary violations.

Otherwise, I have enough bats and rats in my office for you to vent your excess energy."
