Chapter Thirty-Three: Undercurrents Before Transfiguration Class

Finally, in the sight of a group of house elves condemning the resentment, Keya poked his head out of Noah's sleeves and began to devour the food with his mouth wide open.

The house elves on the side were even more resentful.

This made Noah a little strange: "Is there any problem?"

I didn't get this kind of treatment when I came to pick up raw food twice before.

The house elf named Lacey shrank and replied: "Yes, Mr. Administrator..."

The administrator's cat was also fed raw meat.

Then a house elf mentioned another little wizard who also fed his pets raw meat.

Under normal circumstances, little wizards' pets are fed corresponding pet food. It is rare that little wizards specifically request raw meat to feed their pets.

This obviously abnormal situation naturally attracted Filch's attention, but fortunately the house elves didn't know Noah's name, and they didn't even mention what kind of pet he was. They just talked about picking up raw meat twice.

Lacey was not only crying, she even started to hit herself on the head: "It's Lacey's fault, Lacey said it first!"

It seemed that this house elf was the first to bring up the topic of raw meat. Looking at the expressions of the other house elves, Noah guessed that Lacey was being punished.

Filch hates little wizards, but is completely condescending to house elves, no different from ordinary wizards.

"Lacy, right?" Noah stopped the house elf's self-abuse behavior, "I'm sorry, I caused you trouble."

Lacey looked at Noah in surprise, with tears accumulating in her two big eyes again: "The little wizard is apologizing to Lacey!"

Noah: "..." I almost forgot, this one is not the one at home.

Lacey was a little excited: "Won't the little wizard be angry?"

"No, you didn't expose Keya. I should be grateful." Noah glanced at Keya who had almost eaten and stood up. "Leave it to me after that."

Anyway, Filch's matter didn't last a day or two. In the end, he didn't have much to do with himself.

It was almost time, Noah left the kitchen and walked towards the auditorium.

Filch probably doesn't know yet that he's keeping a "dangerous pet", and he still has some time.

Keya followed his arm to his shoulder and stuck out his head from his collar.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen."

Although Keya has not fully grown into venom glands, he is still a venomous snake. How could Noah be unprepared to bring Keya to school?

So he is not in a hurry.

After breakfast, Noah will have his first Transfiguration class today.

The Transfiguration Classroom is on the first floor, not far from the auditorium.

It was Gryffindor who had class with them today.

The Slytherin students arrived in the classroom early. When Noah came in, he first noticed a tabby cat squatting on the table.

He paused and walked to the professor's desk amidst the strange gazes of others. After carefully looking at the cat, he greeted him respectfully: "Good morning, professor."

The tabby cat tilted its head and looked at him, then raised a paw and waved gently.

Noah nodded, glanced at the Slytherins still standing at the door, and found a seat closer to the front.

Well, not a single Gryffindor has arrived yet.

The other Slytherins also said hello to the tabby cat honestly and sat behind Noah, occupying half of the classroom.

The other half... was naturally left to Gryffindor.

However, many Slytherins were already prepared to see Gryffindor's jokes.

Eve, who was sitting next to Noah, glanced at the tabby cat that was licking its paws, and couldn't help but get closer to Noah: "How did you tell?"

Noah was silent for a moment. The biggest reason was naturally because he had been prepared. After all, in the original book, Professor McGonagall liked to turn into a cat during the first class and appear openly in front of the students.

However, Noah just took the opportunity to take a closer look and found that this tabby cat still has some similarities with Professor McGonagall. The first is the eyes, and the second is the eyeliner. They are exactly the same as Professor McGonagall’s glasses.

But naturally his reasons cannot be disclosed to outsiders.

"It's just a guess." Noah said calmly, "Professor McGonagall is one of the seven known registered Animagus."

Eve felt that it shouldn't be that simple, but she couldn't think of any other reason, so she could only give up for now.

After waiting for a while, Gryffindor students walked in in twos and threes.

Some of them didn't notice the tabby cat on the table at all. They just glanced at the Slytherins who were already sitting upright, and each found a place to sit down.

But there was still a girl who discovered a tabby cat.

Her eyes lit up and she walked to the long table ready to touch it.

Professor McGonagall didn't hide either. She still squatted there, calmly watching the bold little first-year wizard touch his fur before finding a seat and sitting down contentedly.

This move naturally attracted the side glances of the Slytherins, and suddenly more and more eyes fell on this girl.

However, this little witch was probably frightened by the wanton gazes of the Slytherins. She timidly found a corner to sit down away from the Slytherins, wondering where she had offended these difficult guys.

Compared to this girl, the other Gryffindors were less afraid. One of their boys leaned against the backrest unhappily and raised his eyebrows at the Slytherins: "What's the matter with you?"

Although it was a question, his tone was not friendly at all.

The Slytherins decisively withdrew their gaze, flipping through books when they needed to, and preparing quills when needed. They were too lazy to pay attention to these stupid lions.

The cold attitude of the Slytherins obviously made the Gryffindors feel slightly offended. Although the other party didn't say anything, they had fully felt the disdain of the other party.

All the Gryffindors: "?!"

Do you want to fight? Slytherin is as annoying as the seniors say!

Just when they were about to get back on their feet, class started.

All the Gryffindors were shocked to see the tabby cat turn into a professor.

All the Gryffindors: "..."

Suddenly I understood the attitude of the Slytherins just now...

No, did those guys do it on purpose? Fortunately, they were smart enough not to be fooled and did not rashly tease the cat with a quill...

Slytherin is so cruel!

But Professor McGonagall is the head of Gryffindor, so she must know everything!

After a brief panic, all the Gryffindors calmed down and even glanced at Slytherin provocatively.

Humph, a bunch of cunning guys!

The inexplicably provoked Slytherins: "?"

What are these stupid lions doing? Are they provoking?

Hehe, he is just stupid. His own dean didn’t even recognize him, and he wasn’t afraid of embarrassing himself by saying it.
