legend begins with lord of the rings

Chapter 186: Gathering in Rivendell (2)

"Gandalf, you are here!"

Abel came to the square just in time to see the Eagle King leaving.

"Abel, I'm glad to see you here." Gandalf walked up to Abel and said, "I'm sorry I missed my appointment."

Gandalf was referring to the fact that he did not join everyone at the Julong Hotel.

Next, the wizard asked about the situation of the team. When he knew that Frodo was seriously injured, he acted very guilty.

After Abel exchanged a few words with the wizard, he took him to the door of the room where Frodo was being treated.

The two didn't wait long here before Elrond walked out with a tired look on his face.

"How is Frodo?" Gandalf asked as he came up to him.

"Gandalf, you are here." King Elrond forced a smile and said: "Fortunately, it was delivered in time. Frodo is out of danger. But it will take some time for him to wake up."

"Thank you very much~" Gandalf bowed slightly and asked, "Can I go see him?"

"Yes, but keep quiet. He needs to rest now." King Elrond said.

After a few words of explanation, King Elrond left. He also needs a rest now.

After King Elrond left, Abel and the wizard walked into the room.

In the room, Frodo was lying upright on a table. He didn't know what he was going through in his sleep, and his brows were knitted together.

A faint white light condensed in Gandalf's hand. After thinking about it, he dissipated the magic power and smoothed Frodo's brow with his hand.

"It seems that he won't wake up for a while. We'd better go out and wait." Abel said softly.

"Go ahead." Gandalf smiled at Abel and said, "I will stay here until he wakes up."

"Okay, remember to let me know if anything happens." Abel glanced at the sleeping Frodo again and left the room.

When he came to the door, Abel saw Yabu waiting aside.

He had met Jabu on the day he came to Rivendell, but before that Abel was worried about Frodo's safety and did not have too much tenderness with Jabu.

"How is your friend?" Yabu asked gently.

"It's okay, but it will take some time before I wake up." Abel said, holding the female elf's little hand.

"I have prepared dinner for you, do you want to try it?" In front of the public, Yabu struggled a few times embarrassedly. In the end, he could only let Abel hold his hand.

"Okay, I've been very hungry for a long time." Abel smiled and stopped the female elf from walking towards her room.

One night passed, after Abel was fully dressed, he gently stroked the female elf's soft face and said, "There is something I need to ask of you."

"What?" Yabu asked, leaning his face on Abel's hand.

"I want your propaganda team to go to the Dark Land and the Northern Forest to bring me a message and ask the steward of the Adventurer's House there to come to Rivendell." Abel said.

"Got it~" Yabu said playfully: "I promise to complete the task."

After spending some time with Abel, Abel came to the room where Frodo was.

Gandalf was still by Frodo's side, and Frodo's face looked much better.

After visiting Frodo, Abel met Aragorn and others in Rivendell. After several days of long journey, Aragorn and others also arrived at Rivendell.

After understanding the problems that everyone encountered along the way, Abel took Alta to Rivendell's library.

"I'm here to meet an old friend, you don't need to follow me." Abel said to the female elf behind him.

"Is it Bilbo?" Alta said knowingly, "I'll wait for you at the door."

After taking a look at the female elf's appearance, Abel turned around and walked into the library.

"Oh, look who this is?" Abel walked up behind Bilbo who was wearing glasses and said, "Isn't this the famous writer Bilbo?"

Bilbo, who was deep in thought, heard a familiar voice and stood up happily: "Abel, I'm glad to see you here."

The two hugged each other fiercely.

Looking at Bilbo, who had white hair and a face that was rapidly aging, Abel said, "How are you now, my old friend?"

"I feel great. If my health hadn't allowed me to do so, I could have gone to the Lonely Mountain again." Although Bilbo looked old, his mental state was much better after leaving the Lord of the Rings.

"That's a good idea. How about I accompany you to the Greenland Forest." Abel said with a smile.

"No, I'm too old to walk." Bilbo sighed and said, "I heard that you encountered a lot of trouble on your way to Rivendell this time."

"Yes, you should go and see Frodo, he almost lost his life." Abel told Bilbo about Frodo's situation.

"I know he will be fine..." Bilbo said: "I feel relieved that the ring is on his hand. He has his own mission. I shouldn't disturb him."

"Well, if Frodo heard you say that, he would be very 'touched'." Abel said jokingly.

Bilbo now has a peaceful scent about him, but his temper seems to have become a little weird.

"I will go and see him when he wakes up," Bilbo said nonchalantly.

Bilbo knew about it when Frodo was sent to Rivendell in a coma. However, perhaps because he knew that he could not help much, Bilbo never visited Frodo.

"Gandalf also arrived in Rivendell yesterday, and now he is guarding Frodo. If you are interested, you can go and have a look." Abel said.

"Gandalf..." Bilbo sighed inexplicably, and then said: "I just want to sort out my works now. You know, I don't have much time."

After leaving the Lord of the Rings, Bilbo's physical condition was indeed a bit bad.

However, he was unwilling to see Gandalf, probably because the wizard's attitude when asking him to put down the Ring was not very good, which left him with a little temper.

Abel did not understand this point clearly. He stayed with Bilbo in the library of Rivendell for most of the day.

It wasn't until Yabu came to find him that he said goodbye to Bilbo and followed Yabu out of the library.

"I have already sent people to inform you of the information you want me to inform. They will be back by tomorrow afternoon at the latest," Yabu said.

"It's okay, I'm not in a hurry." Abel liked staying with Yabu more than staying with Bilbo.

However, when the two of them were walking on the path of Rivendell, there was an extra tail behind them.

The next morning, Abel did not see the arrival of the two stewards from the Black Barbarian Land, but he welcomed a group of special "guests".

"Legolas, you look stronger."

Abel saw Legolas, Golden Bolt, and several human lords at the entrance to Rivendell.

"You are not bad either. I can feel that I am no longer your match." Legolas with a cold face showed a smile.

"Mr. Abel, my father and Fili asked me to say hello to you." Jin Pei deliberately stood in front of Lagrasse and talked to Abel.

This time the dwarves sent two people, one of them was Jin Pei.
