I took a look at the chapter comments recently and felt utterly baffled.

First.

The protagonist's established persona has always been that of a genius.

A genius has a genius's way of doing things. An average Xuan Practitioner who only puts in effort sporadically is an idiot, but when a genius does it, it's called an anecdote.

Let me give you a real-life example.

When I was in high school, there was a top student in the experimental class who, after finishing his exam paper, would calculate the trajectory of projectiles in a game on his scratch paper. He later scored over 700 on the National Higher Education Entrance Examination and became the top science student in the province.

If an average student did that, they'd be considered a fool, but when he did it, the teachers talked about it with great interest.

This is a true story, not something I made up.

If I'm lying, may lightning strike me!

Back to the book.

When the protagonist was a warrior, he comprehended Rune Imprints casually, but when he reached the Xuan Palace, he started sitting still for an entire day, turning from a genius into just another face in the crowd?

That's not in line with the book's established character.

*

Second.

The time it takes to comprehend the Myriad Wood Xuan Imprint.

Let's compare it to his time as a warrior.

Back then, he comprehended a "Rune Imprint" while only putting in effort sporadically, comprehending it in just a few days.

Now that he's in the Xuan Practitioner stage, he's spent over a month comprehending it, and that's with the help of a Xuan Body, comprehending something from a second-tier Xuan Imprint inheritance stone carving.

If Xuan Supervisors were to just look at the protagonist's information, they would find this very reasonable.

*

Third.

The issue of whether it's padding or not.

Every plot point I write is either to enrich the world-building or to develop the characters.

Take comprehending the Xuan Imprint, for example.

If the protagonist doesn't eat, drink, and have fun, doesn't travel around enjoying the scenery, how can I establish his genius persona?

If the protagonist plays around so much, how could others not have any thoughts about it?

When the reversal comes, everything the protagonist has done will become an anecdote, leaving a deep impression.

What kind of genius doesn't leave behind a series of legends in the Xuan Palace?

If the Xuan Palace Master hears about these things, he will deeply remember the protagonist's name. How can you quickly become famous if you don't do anything out of the ordinary?

In short.

I am writing every chapter of this book carefully.

Readers who don't like it can skip it by looking at the title. If it's really not to your taste, then that's that. I can only say I'm sorry.

The above is just my personal explanation.

Everyone has their own judgment. Accept it if you want.

If you don't want to accept it, then feel free to scold the author. I'll take it honestly!

If you spent money to subscribe and didn't enjoy reading it, and you feel upset today, then you have the right to scold the author. That's a view I've always held.

It's good if it can let everyone vent their anger.

I won't delete comments, and I won't ban anyone.
