Lisco's American Life

Chapter 45 Negro Weiss

Vess is a black man in Mexican. His skin color also belongs to very few races in Mexico. In the early years, his grandfather took his family to steal the family to the United States and wandered to the town to settle down.

His parents and sisters died a forest fire a few years ago. He only lived in the pasture, so he was gone, so he has been alone.

He lost all his family members and wanted to commit suicide. He was enlightened by Lisco's father, Lee Tim, and slowly picked up confidence in life.

After the pasture went bankrupt, he also lost his career and was lingering in the town to make some loose workers. Until the ranch was bought back by Lisco, he summoned him to come back to work.

Wans has just passed the twenty -eighth this year. He is a strong and silent guy. His sense of existence in the ranch is not too high.

He is diligent in work. He likes to do some carpentry work during his business. The craftsmanship is not bad. Many denims in the ranch like to find him to customize. Lisco also has the rocking chair he made.

I do n’t know if I have been with Li ’s father for a long time. He also developed the habit of saving. He earns fast and salary on weekdays. Except for a few denim clothes, he can hardly see his purchase. On weekdays

There are not many words, letting Lisco, who has been raised by the driver of the black brother of New York, has changed the race of their people.

Lisco walked to the top of the employee dormitory building of the pasture. This is a five -story American building. It was built by the ranch owner who took over the Lisco Ranch. When Lisco bought it back, it was just built.

There are currently only a few denim, many empty rooms, and every Christmas, others go home to gather with their families, only Wans.

Lisco opened the door of the rooftop and saw that Wans was looking down.

He looked at it carefully, Vis's fingers were flying, and he was edited with grassroots. The things had taken shape.

"Visco," Lisco holds a tray and holds red wine.

The rooftop at the top of the building is where the denim meets after get off work. It is set up here with a wooden table and chair.

Visco was very surprised to see Lisco.

"Hey, boss,"

"Call me Lee," Lisco placed things on the table, and fist touched Visk.

"I just made a steak, let's drink a glass." Lisco poured the wine well, opened the stainless steel hood, and the scent of the steak drooling.

Lisco has fried several pieces. Steak is still high -end snowflake steak.

"Thank you," Wans liked to stay alone on such a happy family. Lisco could come up to accompany him. He was still very happy.

After trying the steak, Vis couldn't help nodding.

"Well, steak is great."

Lisco picked up the wine glass and touched him,

"Anta is very interesting, do you like this?"

Vis was silent for a while, "My father liked to do this for me when I was a kid, and then I made it for my sister."

Lisco heard the words and stunned. He wanted to find a topic to chat.

"Sorry" Lisco quickly apologized.

"It doesn't matter, Li, I have come out, I am very grateful to your father, he gave me the second life." Viste's eyes revealed seriously.

"Your father taught me, living well is the greatest consolation for the death of the family." Vis recalled the past.

At first he was sad, curled up in the pasture and dormitory, did not eat or drink, daily alcoholism, drunk dreams and dreamed of giving him a meal every day, led him to disperse in the pasture, and taught him a lot of life truths until he walked out slowly out of himself.

sad.

Lisko didn't know what his father had done. He was quite surprised. In his impression, his father, like the fathers of all Chinese families, wanted his children to succeed, was stern, and insisted on "caring for grandchildren but not for children."

"Do you miss him?" Weiss took a sip of wine and asked.

"Sometimes."

"What are your dreams?" Lisko tilted his head and asked him,

"Open a handmade furniture store, have a wife who is not beautiful but loves her very much, and have many children." Weiss's eyes revealed yearning.

"It will come true," Lisko raised his glass, "You should be very rich, why didn't you do it?"

Weiss smiled, "I donated."

"Donated?" Lisko was particularly surprised. He had always thought that Weiss was a miser who never had any big expenses and was the only cowboy on the ranch without a car.

"Yes, I donated my savings to the people who were injured in the fire for the cost of their treatment." Weiss smiled brightly.

"Why?" Lisko couldn't figure it out. "The fire was not your fault. You were still the victim. Why did you do this?"

"I want to get some psychological comfort. Sometimes I wonder if I can save a few lives if I am at home. At least I should be able to save my two young sisters, who are twins and are only five years old.

"

As he spoke, Weiss burst into tears.

"Later, Tem asked me to go see the people who were injured in the fire. I know he wanted me to know that I was lucky and should live happily. But when I went to see those who were burned, they lost their jobs.

If you have no ability and no income from work, although you can receive some compensation and relief, it is only part of the high cost of treatment and recovery."

"When I gave all my money to a mother to treat her five-year-old daughter's facial burns, I suddenly felt much better."

Weiss wiped away her tears and explained to Lisko, "Since then, I have donated my income to them. Many people have recovered with my help. Many of them have found jobs again and have begun to learn from my methods.

"

"Then how do you plan to realize your dream?" Lisko advised him, "You can't save everyone."

"The people injured in that fire have recovered a lot. When they are all able to live, I will reduce the donation and keep half for myself." Weiss's plan is very clear.

Lisko was relieved when he heard that he had a plan. He actually admired Weiss's approach. Although he was seeking spiritual relief, many people recovered with his help, and more people were inspired.

To help others is a noble act.

Lisko suddenly felt a little ashamed. Although he donated a lot every year, most of his thoughts were to avoid taxes. He made up his mind to put some thought into this in the future. As the old saying goes, if you are poor, you can only benefit yourself; if you are rich, you can help the world.

"Li, I want to thank you." Weiss thanked him sincerely.

"why?"

"You gave me a lot of salary and bonuses. The work I did was not worth that much. You made me more capable. All our cowboys are very grateful to you." Weiss held the cup with both hands and expressed his gratitude to Lisko.

Respect.

Lisko quickly clinked glasses with him in the same manner, "You don't have to do this,"

Weiss drank all the wine in one gulp, and Lisko had no choice but to follow suit.

The bottle of red wine had been drained by the two of them. Lisko had eaten a lot at Bo's house, but he still finished the steak during the conversation and poured the last red wine evenly into two wine glasses.

Lisko picked up the cup and ended the night chat that refreshed his impression of Weiss.

"Merry Christmas, Weiss"

"Merry Christmas. Lee"

"Bang."
