Lisco's American Life

Chapter 79 Locke's Secret

Lisko's car drove towards home. Just halfway through, he saw an acquaintance.

This was a forest, and Lisko looked familiar from a distance. He carefully identified it, and it was Locke, the cowboy from his ranch.

Locke is a middle-aged cowboy in his 30s and 40s. He is white and has a pretty good job. He is a single and divorced father. His two sons live with their mother. He visits them from time to time and pays part of his salary.

It's alimony.

Lisko heard Rooster chatting about him, and after divorcing his wife, he had no intention of remarrying. He often looked at photos of his children.

Lisko stopped the car and planned to say hello. He remembered that today was Locke's day off. If he remembered correctly, he should have gone to Philadelphia to visit his children.

"Oh, my god" As soon as he opened the car door, Lisko was stunned by the scene in front of him. Locke was standing in the woods. Soon, a male cowboy with a beard appeared from the woods, wearing a cowboy costume and wearing a belt.

Locke went up to him with his hat on. Then, the two hugged and kissed!

"FUCK! Locke is gay"

There was unbelievable surprise in his tone.

Lisko felt that his outlook on life had been impacted. In fact, he had no prejudice against homosexuals, but he had never had any contact with homosexuals, so he suddenly saw two men kissing.

Single and divorced man, but he has children!

Lisko watched them walk into the woods without hesitation, and quickly drove away from this place. Along the way, he took with him the pleasure of discovering the secrets hidden by others and the huge amount of information that he could not accept for a while.

The sound of the car starting up alarmed the two Lockes who were making out in the woods. They quickly packed themselves up and watched Lisko's car drive away.

"Fuck!" Locke recognized the car.

Smith looked at his partner squatting down holding his head in pain, "What's wrong?"

"It's over. That's my boss. I may lose my job. Maybe I have to leave this city."

Locke covered his face with his hands in pain.

Smith is also a little anxious. If he loses his job, he can find it again, but Locke cannot leave the city. Now they are in a period of passionate love.

"How about I go find him? And he may not have seen us. Maybe he was just passing by?"

Smith's voice became smaller and smaller. He didn't feel confident in what he said. They clearly heard the sound of the car starting.

The source of Locke's pain is that he is afraid that Lisko will expose him, because homosexuality is not popular among the cowboy group, because cowboys give others the impression of being strong and tough guys, and if someone is found to be gay, they will be rejected by others.

Perhaps it is understandable and acceptable in other professions, such as models and actors. But cowboys are all traditional and old-fashioned.

After being annoyed for a while, Locke thought about it and decided to go to Lisko to explain it clearly.

"I'm going to find him. If he can't accept it, I'll have to leave. But Li has always been a great boss, maybe he will understand us." Locke encouraged himself.

Rejecting Smith who wanted to go with him, Locke walked towards the ranch.

Here, Lisko returned to the ranch. He classified and placed the purchased items. Although he discovered Locke's secret, he did not intend to reveal it yet. After all, this was his own freedom, and it did not affect his work.

So there is no need to be a villain, he is just a little surprised.

"How is this possible?" Lisko was still wondering. He never thought that Locke, a tough guy on the ranch, who usually whistled to the cowherd in short skirts and watched adult channels with other cowboys from time to time, was the same person.

Comrade.

But it was not unacceptable to him, because as far as he knew, two of his senior brothers who were journalists were gay, and they made no secret of their orientation.

"Bang...bang...bang." Lisko looked up and saw Locke standing at his door.

"Hmm? Please come in."

After Locke came in, he stood in the room with some embarrassment.

Lisko took a glass of water and handed it to him.

He drank a sip of water and looked at Lisko, an awkward atmosphere spread in the middle.

"So...you saw it, right?" Locke wanted to confirm whether Lisko already knew.

Lisko did not hesitate, "Yes, I saw it."

He knew that if he didn't talk about this matter today, it would be very embarrassing for the two of them to meet in the future.

"His name is Smith, and he's a cowboy from Les Ranch."

"Cowboy from Les?" Lisko finally knew why he looked familiar to another person. It turned out that Smith was the bartender at the rancher's party, and Lisko took the champagne from him.

"Why are you gay? If you are gay, why do you have two children?"

This was what Lisko was very puzzled about.

"I have been working since my divorce. Once I was a little depressed and entered a bar. This is a special bar."

Locke began to tell his story.

"Oh!" When he said this, Lisko knew it. He had also heard about gay bars.

"After that time, I discovered my orientation. It turns out that I am a gay."

"What about you and your ex-wife?" Lisko was a little curious.

"BOSS, she is a car to me, a great car, so I always thought that I was a racing driver, but one day I got on the plane and found out that I was a pilot." Locke looked at Li Si

Ke didn't mean to exclude him, so he started to relax a little.

"So that's it, so you didn't like watching "Brokeback Mountain" because you admire director Ang Lee?"

I heard from Rooster that Locke liked this movie, and Lisko always thought he was a fan of Ang Lee.

"I like the relationship between Jack and Ennis, and I also respect the director Ann Lee who made this great film that called out for gay rights and made a conservative observation of homosexuality. He brought our group into the eyes of many people.

"

Although Lisko was not very accepting, he did not continue to ask further questions.

"Locke, I won't tell anyone." He stretched out his fist and touched Locke, "I support you."

Locke's tense nerves suddenly relaxed after hearing these words.

"Thank you, thank you, BOSS." He looked at Lisko with some surprise and wanted to step forward for a hug.

"NO.NO" Lisko refused quickly, "Although I don't mind this, it feels weird if you hug me again. I'm sorry."

Lisko looked a little disappointed when he looked at Locke's face.

"Shit, you want to eat my tofu." Lisko was a little angry, and Locke ran out of the room laughing.
