Chapter 40 Shout and pounce... (Seeking support)

Martin came outside the factory and whistled to the sky.

"Chirp, chirp--"

A group of sparrows flapped their wings, came to Martin, and flew around.

"Go find someone who has the scent of these beads."

Martin opened his hand and showed a bead condensed with amber gold.

The summoned sparrows flew around the bead for a while, then flapped their wings and scattered around, looking for the claws transformed by amber gold.

Martin let the shadow cast by the steel plant wall cover himself and hide his figure. Even if someone walked by him, they would not find that there was a living person hiding here.

Although the leaders of the Court of Owls have gone underground, they still need channels to learn about what is happening in Gotham, otherwise they will become deaf and blind.

If Martin is a member of the Court of Owls, he will drive those families who have lived in Gotham for hundreds of years. Maybe they have no power and money, but they can undertake the task of collecting intelligence without attracting attention.

But there are too many of them, and they only serve the Court of Owls out of fear. They lack loyalty and skills, so they can only serve as peripheral personnel.

The real important tasks should be done by the claws.

Martin is never modest in this matter. He feels that he is the most important target in the eyes of the Court of Owls.

There must be claws around him who are watching him.

"Chirp, chirp!"

The sparrows took turns landing on Martin's shoulders, chirping non-stop, telling him who they found.

"Thank you." Martin took out a handful of bread crumbs, sprinkled them on the sparrows, and said to them: "After eating, leave quickly, it will be uneasy here soon."

A dozen sparrows quickly pecked the bread crumbs on the ground and left the steel plant without green leaves.

Martin lowered the wizard hat on his head and grabbed the ground. The invisible shadow was torn off like a curtain, and draped over his body, becoming a movable shadow.

Once the shadow technique encounters light, it will fail. It is very limited in a metropolis with lights everywhere, but Gotham is an exception.

This haunted place where the sun never fully rises all year round is just right for the survival of the shadow.

Martin hid in the shadow, shuttled freely in the shadow cast by the steel plant, climbed up the tower easily, and found a claw on the top of the tower.

This claw, whose species is still unknown, crouched low, almost integrated with the tower, without heartbeat, without breathing, but monitoring everything that happened in the steel plant.

Martin made sure that the claw did not find him, and cast a small spell, summoning a gust of wind, which directly blew away the scarecrow's fear gas, and hid in the claw's shadow.

"Damn, that Martin disappeared."

The gas dissipated, and only a few people survived, each with injuries, their bodies torn apart, revealing white bones.

The blood flowing from their bodies fell on the ground of the steel plant, and then evaporated, leaving a dark red mark.

The scarecrow's men first discovered that there was no trace of Martin in the steel plant. They searched almost every corner of the steel plant, but did not find even a hair.

Others who came for Martin couldn't help shuddering when they saw the corpses all over the ground, and they couldn't help but feel deep fear in their hearts.

Although Batman is also ridiculously strong, he won't kill people.

The wizard who appeared now is not only powerful, but also doesn't care about human life at all, and he played them around.

What's the point of chasing him!

The survivors had an idea at the same time, dragging their seriously injured bodies and hurriedly left the steel plant.

Although the Scarecrow and his men used poison gas to make a massacre, they didn't catch Martin, the human check, and were very angry.

But after smashing and looting for a while, the Scarecrow still took people away. He couldn't find Martin, and he couldn't compete with the steel plant.

The Scarecrow is paranoid, but not stupid.

When the steel plant was empty, the claws hiding in the tower stood on a high place, looked around, and didn't find any trace of Martin, so he jumped directly from the tower and jumped into a sewer at random.

Martin had been hiding in the shadow of this claw, and he didn't have to move himself, and he passed through the complex sewer system.

"Why do people in Gotham love sewers so much? They are more complicated than trenches on the battlefield."

Even Batman doesn't have a complete map of Gotham's sewer system.

Martin now has claws to lead the way, so of course he can't miss the opportunity to remember the map.

He used the shadow technique, and since he couldn't touch the physical pen and paper, he memorized the map in his mind.

After the claws turned the 28th corner and passed through the third secret door, they finally stopped moving forward.

He waded through the dirty water, walked into the shadow corner, opened a secret door, stepped over the threshold of the water, walked down the stairs, passed through two rows of tall pillars with torches, and entered an underground palace.

Martin still hid in the shadow of the claws.

When he passed through the palace gate, he held the staff in his left hand and the hilt of the sword in his right hand, ready to fight at any time.

But nothing happened. This underground palace was equipped with cameras everywhere, but there was no defense mechanism against magic.

Martin just broke into the core of the underground palace, a room similar to a court.

A man in a black robe stood on the judge's bench. His entire body was covered in the black robe, revealing nothing. It was impossible to tell whether he was a person or something else.

No mistakes in one song, one post, one content, one 6, one 9, one book, one forum!

The jury seats on both sides are full of suit men with white masks. Their masks are painted with the patterns of owls.

"That wizard disappeared!"

Lee kneeled in front of Judge Black robe and said everything he was investigated.

Judge Black Powder silently didn't seem to think about something.

The moment Martin entered the court, he broke away from his claws, climbed to the ceiling, and dragged it in the shadow of the chandelier.

He smelled the smell of the spice in the air, and heard the shadow around him was sorrowful.

This is not described, but facts.

Each corner of this underground palace is permeable with the blood of the innocent people, forming a huge cage, trapped in countless souls, and is always producing dark darkness.

The most obvious manifestation is the cold that cannot even disperse the light, as long as the sorrow that is a little inspired.

"That's here!"

Martin opened his eyes and prepared to act.

He certainly knew that this place was not just as simple as a court.

But now it's not when you are cautious.

"Then go, never let that wizard get out of our control."

Judge Black robe knocked on the wooden hammer and issued an order to the claws under the court.

hiss--

The bright sword descended from the sky, and the claws kneeling on the ground were torn in half from the middle.

"Okay!"

Martin landed and completely separated the corpse of the claws with a cane. To the people in the court, "I heard that someone was looking for me, is it you?"

"Kill him."

Judge Black robe shouted, everyone in the court rushed to Martin.
