The Sanctuary is a cosmic-class battleship belonging to Thanos. It is extremely large, almost surpassing the size of New York City. Inhabiting it are Thanos's Dark Order Legion, a terrifying legion that terrifies the entire universe.

Above the Avengers Base in New York City, a space wormhole opened, revealing only a part of the Sanctuary battleship, which had already blocked most of the sunlight in New York City. The dark environment made all New Yorkers extremely terrified.
