Master Craftsman of the Pokemon World

#139 - Mantis invading the workshop

Traveler's Workshop.

After Koke, Daigo, and the Pokémon all left, a rather large Pokémon appeared near the workshop.

The red light in its eyes gradually faded, and Scizor came to the workshop from the forest.

Scizor, this Pokémon has a head shaped like a reptile, like a monster or dinosaur, with three separate horns on its head. Its body is green, and the large scythes on its arms are as sharp as divine weapons, with two pairs of smaller wings.

This Pokémon fights with its scythes. If you find a place in the forest where a large number of trees have been cut down, it means that it is Scizor's territory. The large scythes on its arms are extremely sharp, and with just one swing, even a large tree can be cut in two. The more hard things it cuts down and the more battles it fights, the sharper the scythes become.

It had been observing for a long time, and only after the workshop's owner, guests, giant, and those Pokémon all left, and after a while it confirmed that no one would come here again, did it flap its wings and fly over.

Although its name contains the word 'flying,' the actual height it can fly is limited, so it cannot learn the long-distance flying move 'Fly.' In normal battles, its wings mainly serve as a balance and acceleration aid.

“Chya.”

Scizor had only found the address of this workshop yesterday. It saw Dusknoir's disappearance in the forest, as well as the humans who came from the workshop to the depths of the forest, and they took away that 'orb' with powerful power.

According to Dusknoir, it seemed that the orb originally belonged to that human, or rather, it should have been given to that human.

At first, it heard that the orb had the effect of enhancing the power of Pokémon, so it went to steal it, but was discovered by that Dusknoir. Coincidentally, the giant bear in the depths of the forest seemed to be looking for something, so a chaotic battle for the orb began.

Its power was insufficient, so it didn't manage to steal the orb. That Dusknoir was quite powerful, just like that strong rock giant.

Scizor carefully looked at the workshop, with a thoughtful look in its eyes.

Repaired Celebi's shrine, this human has unique technology, and the Pokémon that follow him also have particularly strong abilities, so that human must have items that can enhance the power of Pokémon.

Stealing is a necessary step to become stronger. Scizor crossed and rubbed the scythes on its arms, making a sharp sound of swords clashing. Accompanied by the sharp sound of '嚓嚓', its heart was filled with the desire for power.

The wild Pokémon world has always been like this! If you get a powerful item, you will inevitably be targeted by other Pokémon, who will then try to take it away. No Pokémon is not interested in power, because the essence of Pokémon is that they are warlike creatures!

Scizor looked left and right. Although it knew that there was no one in the workshop, Scizor was still a little cautious, afraid that the human had left someone to watch the house, or that one or two Pokémon it hadn't seen before would emerge from some door or the ground. That would be terrible.

It also took a look at the berry field near the workshop.

The berries were growing very well and should be ready for harvest soon. Scizor cut one down and tasted it, revealing a comfortable expression.

This taste is really wonderful!

Delicious things are always so intoxicating to Pokémon. Scizor even had the impulse to cut down all these fruit trees and take them back, but considering that its arms were scythes and did not have the function of 'grabbing,' this idea was abandoned.

Besides, if it cut down these fruit trees, then when that human came back, they would likely rush into the forest to find it.

Although it really wanted to become stronger and defeat that human and his Pokémon, becoming the number one in the outer forest, it was clear that... the opponent had quite a few Pokémon.

To defeat an entire team of Pokémon with its own strength—this isn't fear, but a weighing of pros and cons!

Of course, it wouldn't really be able to fight. For some reason, every time it approached that human, Scizor felt its desire to fight drastically decrease, almost uncontrollably.

And now it was the same... the source of that reduced desire to fight was in this workshop.

Regretfully leaving the berry field and herb field, Scizor had no interest in those ordinary crops. It carefully studied the front door of the workshop. Although it had seen human villages, it had never actually entered one, so its understanding of 'doors' was limited to recognition.

How do you open this 'door'?

Chop it open? No, no, no, that would be too dangerous and easily discovered by the other party. Even if it were to chop it, it would have to find a location that was not easily discovered.

Since the front door was impassable, it would look around in other places. Scizor began to circle the workshop, and finally its eyes lit up.

At the back of the workshop, there was a simple wooden shed, obviously a newly built structure, and next to the wooden shed was a wooden wall. Unlike the other places with sturdy walls mixed with rocks, this wall looked like it could be opened.

So, this is the place!

Scizor's scythes lit up and swung forward!

Scizor used 'Cut'!

It's super effective on the forging room's wall!

With one slash, the workshop's 'back door' was cut in two, collapsing outward onto the ground with two loud thuds. The forging room behind the wall was also in full view, with various ores, materials, clay, and forging tools all available. Scizor scanned the items here and found sandpaper for polishing, rubbing it on its scythes.

Oh! This thing is good, it can actually be used to polish my scythes!

Scizor's eyes lit up, and it neatly picked up the sandpaper with its scythe and placed it outside the workshop, ready to take it away when it left.

Then, it saw a pile of shiny things.

“Chya!”

Orbs are also shiny, so shiny = Life Orb!

Does this human have the technology to make orbs? Scizor happily went forward. When its scythe touched those shiny metal boxes, the magnetic field beneath the workshop suddenly pulsed.

The latest novel is first published on 69 Book Bar!

The day before, the magnetic field here had just been gathered in one place by Metagross, which had eaten Metal Coat, and due to the special nature of the Shinto region, the magnetic field here had always been abnormally active. When Scizor touched 'Metal Coat,' the change that occurred was the same as what happened in the ancient Hisui region!

On the Hisui land, due to the influence of the special magnetic field, Scizor could evolve directly into 'Scizor' without needing to trade while holding Metal Coat!

And now, in the Shinto region, which is similar to the Hisui environment, this thing happened again!

“Chya?! Chya!”

Scizor looked at its body in horror. Steel-type energy and the magnetic field of the entire land violently bombarded its body. Dazzling white light accompanied by the sound of evolution resounded in its heart, the color of its body began to change, and its appearance became heavier, until red covered its entire body, and its scythes turned into huge pincers. It looked at its changed body and arms in disbelief, and now... it should no longer be called Scizor!

But 'Scizor'!

“Chya?! (I evolved?!)”

The evolution problem that had plagued it for a long time was solved so accidentally. Scizor was extremely excited and almost shouted out in joy!

This power has increased wildly, greatly, and fiercely, it's already invincible. Who else in the outer forest can stop it in the future!

Even this human can no longer resist its attack!

Evolved, evolved, so the power will become stronger, right!

Unfortunately, the evolution of the Scyther family does not increase the total base stats. But Scizor doesn't understand these things, it's just a Pokémon!

After evolving, Scizor opened the door of the workshop's forging room even more unhindered. The huge pincers had unparalleled power, directly smashing the door. It began to patrol the workshop, hoping to obtain more powerful items.

There must be treasures here, and more... Scizor's eyes suddenly saw a mirror, reflecting its current appearance, majestic and strong. The corner of Scizor's mouth curled up in a smug smile. It turned around and found a pile of Rare Candies and Energy Cubes in the kitchen. It grabbed them with its pincers and immediately began to eat them on the spot.

Level UP! UP! UP!

And behind Scizor, the surface of the mirror suddenly rippled.

A scarlet dragon eye saw the Scizor invading the workshop through the mirror!

“Gaa!”
