In the nasty abode of one of Genus Insania's members two big birds were going through their daily routine

"Want to go out and get something to eat?"

"You heard the boss, we ain't allowed to get out of our floor for some bloody reason"

"Bah they always say that"

Unsatisfied one of the two flapped off the nest and rummaged through the remains of their last meal

"Stop picking bones already, we went through them like fifty times already"

"Get me some food or shu up and let me choke on these ribs to death"

"Suit yourself"

Quarreling like the couple they were the two ignored each other for a bit, tat least the one sitting did before he came up with an idea

"How about we cash a favor in with Laby? SHe out to have something laying around to eat"

The quickly thought up idea didn't get a reply

'Ah she is probably still mad, stuffing her face with those bones'

He thought, waiting for her to chill for a bit before answering him

"...?"

Seconds later he realized there was no sound coming at all from the back promoting him to tilt his head to the side in search of his companion

"Honey?"

No one was in sight, just the scattered bones and a small puddle of blood

The big bird got up and walked toward the puddle, sniffing it and realizing it belonged to the vanished companion

"Honeybeak it doesn't happen to be that time of the month right?"

Thinking he might have hit the nail the bird asked while searching about for his lost and unreasonably angry companion

Only after looking all over did he spot her resting her head on top of a nearby rock

"Oh, there you are, don't run off like that you'll scare…me…to death…"

His words trailed as he saw the blood letting out her neck, the rest of the body nowhere in sight, just a head of the bird he loved, chippering angrily moments ago, now resting on a rock, looking like it didn't even realize it had died yet

"No no no!"

'I must inform the boss, there is an infiltrator and, and he killed my mate!'

It thought, taking off with a flap of its wings

"Agaaa!"

It didn't go far however for both wings were filled with blades all at once, sending it crashing back down

"Help, ca, C-" Bam

Just when it was about to let out a call for help a leg brought its beak to a close, finally allowing it to view the enemy

"!!"

"Yes, it is I"

The bird tried to squirm seeing the new nemesis of their group but couldn't seem to move a bit, its entire body witching like its been paralyzed

"Quite the useless struggle, I shot the nerves in your wings that would disable you for quite some time"

"!?"

"Suprised? Well, I know the body structure of you two since you were quite the troublemakers back then, or I guess you would become ones? Either way I happen to have done a lot of research about you"

"?"

"Anyway I did not keep you alive to reminisce, tell me, where is the dead heart"

The bird's eyes widened in shock, how did he know about that thing? Was it not only them who discovered it as of late? If it really fell into his hands then Genus Insania might…no who cared about them! Its own life came first

Its eyes took a sneak at where the thing was placed unconsciously, it was only a glimpse before turning to him with eyes ready to negotiate

"Oh so that's where you put it, well thank you, goodbye~" Pushi!

The head was crushed under his foot, not even allowing the bird to utter a word throughout the ordeal, just that small glimpse was enough to tell him what he needed

"Bird brains are seriously easy to deal with"

Walking up to the nest he kicked the hard slabs making it away allowing a heinous stench to spread out, the source of which being a black and blue heart, half rotten, lying under it

"Plan B acquired"

Storing the heart he went ahead and stored the body of the bird as well as its companion's head, returning thereafter into Belinda's abode

Arriving in the red room he threw the two bodies out of his storage, piled over with the others next to the metal lob

"Ummm, is this really okay mister?"

Belinda felt uneasy at this course of actions, all these members dead and in such a short time, there was bound to be repercussions, not to mention an investigation that might expose her relation with him

"Don't worry, I have a good excuse to be doing this, more importantly how are you faring?"

"Quite well, all this high quality blood will restore my health with long exposure"

"That is good, once you're well I should have something to help you evolve"

Her eyes almost turned to hearts at the mention of her evolution, but she didn't act overly excited knowing he didn't like her getting all coy and clingy

"Then I shall thank you in advance"

"Don't mention it, part of the deal after all"

YuJu might have had a little headache thinking of the best way to evolve her but with the dead heart in hand he wouldn't have to worry, that is if the gluttonous little parasite did not require more food, which he certainly couldn't hunt for any longer, so many members were slain he might have to face the consequences even when they were the ones to start it

'I am grateful for the opportunity though, if it wasn't for them taking action and planting those parasites I wouldn't have had a good reason to kill the bird and take away the heart'

The domino effect was finally swaying in his benefit, all that was left was to have the parasite eat its fill and wait for Genus Insania to decide upon its reaction

'The countermeasure meeting should be underway y now, I informed Ellis on what to do but….I sure hope nobody decides to test her'

A bloody feline popped into his line of thought, that general and his short fuse might cause some problems

....

"Welcome everyone, its been a rather disturbing period so we have a lot to discuss this time around"

Latvia announced as the generals took their seats, holding the previously ordered countermeasure meeting for the likes of the Witness

"But before we begin, may I ask you where the blackguard leader is?"

Looking at Ellis who stood beside the empty seat she questioned

"Master will not be able to participate"

"Reason?"

She was just asking for formalities sake, knowing that guy had his own hidden agenda

"He is busy retaliating on the eighth floor"

"Oh, in that case…huh?"

All eyes fixated on the redhead, retaliating? On the eighth floor? Did he want to start a war or something

"Please explain further as his actions might spark conflict"

"Yes, Master has gone to the base of Genus Insania with the intent of teaching them a lesson for their last prank concerning the parasites, their members should be in the process of being cleaned up right about now"

""...""

The hall descended into silence, a short one as one of the generals rose in anger

"The hell does that man think he is?! Attacking without even counseling the general! Does he believe himself to be above the rules?"

Surprisingly it wasn't Gremm who blew off his top but Basu, the usually calm and collected one

"Master has deemed their actions a bit too much and thus wanted to put them in their place"

"Put them in their place? Someone ought to put you in place for talking back to a general!"

All of a sudden a blast of water gushed out of his trunk, shooting straight at the still Ellis

Naturally the others wouldn't stand still and watch her die, but before anyone could act Ellis's shadow shot out flames canceling out the blast of water

"?!"

"In respect of the rank the people present have and yours I shall not retaliate this time, know that if you repeat such actions I will tear your loud trunk off"

"You little!" "Basu!"

A shout culled his anger quickly, the glare following it up sat him down, brave as he was in front of Ellis he turned into a meek kitten in front of Aminta

"Dare disrespect my presence and shoot at one of the other general's guards, your punishment shall be dished out heavily"

"Yes Commander"

Not daring to refute Basu merely lowered his eyes and accepted whatever she would decide for him

"But that is for later, now we must urgently proceed with plans in the case of Genus Insania's retaliation, if given more time then we will follow up on our countermeasure plans and other related matter"

Everyone nodded and the meeting began in full swing, opinions chipping in left and right as they figured ways to deal with the situation without starting a full out war
