Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts
#179 - Civilian Hero
"Whether I'm joking or not, you can confirm it yourself. As a wizard, can't I know a few spells you don't?" Anduin sneered at Yulia's unsightly appearance.
"Or, would you like to test the power of my unique magic?" Anduin asked, gradually approaching Yulia.
Yulia, seeing this, was also taken aback. She then stamped her foot and walked out of the room with suspicion.
"Remember to prepare my reward, don't keep me waiting too long." Anduin reminded her, watching Yulia's back.
Fudge, who was watching the drama from the side, didn't seem to have woken up yet. He felt like he had heard something incredible, but due to the Secret Oath, he couldn't share it with anyone.
"Mr. Fudge." Anduin called out to the Director.
"Ah?" Fudge was startled and responded weakly. He had just seen Yulia, this strong woman, being forced to the point where she couldn't even walk straight by this young wizard, and now he couldn't help but feel a little timid towards him.
"When you go out, please invite the reporter from the Daily Prophet in for me, okay?" Anduin said, half requesting and half commanding, not caring that Fudge was the Director of the Ministry of Magic.
"Oh, okay!" Fudge responded with a smile, as if Anduin was his leader, and then carefully walked out of the room.
On the other side, in the Auror Command Office, Moody was furious.
Just now, in the interrogation room where Torkil was being held, he, Director Barty Crouch, and Minister Millicent Bagnold were watching Torkil Travers gradually wake up, preparing to interrogate him together.
Torkil suddenly clutched his stomach and let out a painful howl. Even though Moody used various healing spells on him and poured down a large bottle of potions, it was useless, and he still lost his life.
Seeing this scene, not only Moody, but also Minister Bagnold and Director Crouch had livid faces.
"What exactly is going on? Why did he suddenly die in full view of everyone?" Millicent Bagnold asked Moody in confusion.
"I don't know, I've never seen his condition before. It doesn't look like a reaction to a curse, it's more like a jinx, or maybe… could it be?" Moody immediately turned his head with a dark face, "Scrimgeour, Scrimgeour, where are you?"
Rufus Scrimgeour, as the deputy captain of the Hit Wizard squad, rushed into the room after hearing the call, "What's wrong, Moody?"
"What potion did Torkil drink just now? Who brought it? Who fed it to him? And where is the potion bottle after he drank it?" Moody's words were like a barrage of questions directed at Scrimgeour.
"Torkil?" Scrimgeour only now noticed Torkil, whose body was gradually turning cold. "He's dead? Do you suspect...?"
"That's right, it's either a curse or poisoning, go and investigate immediately!" Moody angrily pointed at the door and shouted at Scrimgeour.
Scrimgeour also understood the temper of this old captain and knew that the situation was urgent, so he quickly rushed out of the interrogation room.
"Damn it, just a little bit more, and those bastards would have succeeded again." Moody stomped his crutch angrily and cursed through gritted teeth. He knew that he probably wouldn't find anything. He didn't expect those bastards to react so quickly and act so ruthlessly.
Minister Bagnold and Director Crouch, who were standing aside, were also feeling a little annoyed, and Moody was pacing back and forth in the room, filled with anger.
"Hey, it's alright, no matter what, capturing these five Death Eaters is already a great achievement. It's just a pity that the big fish got away." Barty Crouch sighed and comforted Moody.
"That's right, speaking of which, isn't that Anduin Wilson the one who assisted us in arresting four Death Eaters during Christmas two years ago?" Millicent Bagnold quickly regained her composure and didn't show too much emotional fluctuation because of this. Instead, she turned her head and asked about this time's hero.
"That's right, he even saved Harry's life in that battle, you know, the savior Harry Potter." Although Moody's mood couldn't be calmed, he still reported to Millicent Bagnold seriously.
"Hmm, young and promising. He has made a great contribution this time. Arrange for us to meet as soon as possible. The wizarding world hasn't had such encouraging good news for a long time." Millicent Bagnold said thoughtfully.
"Oh? What do you mean?" Barty Crouch seemed to have understood what the Minister meant and asked tentatively.
"A commoner hero, and also from a Muggle-born underage wizard, isn't this kind of news the most morale-boosting?" Millicent smiled at Crouch and said.
"That's right, it's just Dumbledore... Will he have any objections? After all, he's his student." Crouch asked hesitantly.
"This is a good thing, not a bad thing, what objections could he have?" Moody interjected at this time and shouted.
"I remember that last time after Anduin made a contribution, he hoped to handle it in a low-key manner. He was afraid that excessive exposure would bring danger to that child." Crouch explained to Moody.
"Hahaha, now that Voldemort is gone, what's so scary? As for ordinary dark wizards, I'm not bragging, they probably aren't enough for Anduin to handle with one hand. You don't know how amazing his equipment is." Moody laughed, and he was drooling when he thought of the good things on Anduin's body.
"It seems Moody has a lot of confidence in Anduin. In that case, let's decide on this. I'll explain to Dumbledore if he asks. Let's go, let the remaining Death Eaters wait for the public trial." Millicent Bagnold made the final decision.
"Yes.", "Yes." Moody and Crouch responded.
Back to Anduin's side, he finally met Rita Skeeter, the reporter from the Daily Prophet, again.
"Mr. Wilson, I really didn't expect that after making such a feat, you would think of me first. I'm truly honored." Although Rita Skeeter was already a well-known reporter, she had only just begun to emerge in the newspaper, and she mostly focused on revealing gossip about celebrities.
In fact, the newspaper received a tip-off as early as this morning when the accident occurred, but because the Department of Magical Law Enforcement protected it so tightly, they didn't even know what happened.
They only found out that several Death Eaters had been dragged into the Ministry of Magic by Hit Wizards early in the morning. After squatting at the entrance of the Ministry of Magic for half a day, they learned that an underage wizard had defeated five Death Eaters.
Originally, news of this level would not have been her responsibility at all. She would only be qualified to take a few photos from afar or something. Who knew that good news would fall from the sky. Anduin's invitation letter fell from the sky. With this letter, she could justifiably rush into the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
