Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts
#429 - Martin (asking for monthly ticket recommendation ticket)

"Mr. Bones, why are we leaving the Kara Black Market? I clearly saw hotels in the market, right? Are we going to have to stay in the Muggle community?" Mavis asked Bones with some confusion.
"There's no choice, there are too many people coming to each International Alchemical Conference. The hotels in the market aren't even enough to accommodate the local Egyptian attendees, let alone the foreign participants," Bones explained in detail, knowing that Mavis was attending for the first time.
"At each Alchemical Conference, the Egyptian Ministry of Magic arranges accommodations outside the market to avoid conflicts, specifically for foreign attendees. This is customary. Besides, the place we're going isn't entirely Muggle territory, at least the owner isn't."
"You mean Martin, right? His pub hasn't closed down after all these years," Bianca said teasingly, clearly not a first-timer.
"Yes, every time I ask him why he's always willing to take jobs from the Egyptian Ministry of Magic, he always says, 'I can't just do Muggle business, I have to earn some Galleons!'" Bones mimicked, frowning.
"Hahaha, that guy is still the same after all these years." Bianca couldn't help but laugh at Bones' performance.
"Martin? Is he the owner of our accommodation? Is there anything special about him?" Mavis couldn't help but ask, seeing that the two seemed to know each other well.
"Him? Just a pitiful person who wants to hide in the Muggle world like a hermit but can't completely abandon his wizarding identity," Bianca chuckled and shook her head, then looked at the others with a serious expression, "But that guy is still dangerous when he goes crazy, you should avoid him."
A pitiful person? Why does this Martin want to give up his wizarding identity, Anduin thought strangely, raising his eyebrows.
But before he could think more about it, Bones led the group into a five-story Muggle pub. Although it was called a pub, it was similar to the Leaky Cauldron, with only the first floor being a pub and the upper floors being guest rooms.
The pub's decor had a strong Arabic influence, the interior was very spacious, the ceilings were high, and the windows were decorated with exquisite镂空 patterns.
At this time, the pub was crowded with wizards in wizard robes or exotic costumes. After seeing Bones and the others enter, they only glanced at them casually and lost interest.
Bones led the group to the counter, behind which stood a gloomy-looking, thin, tall middle-aged man. He was also wearing an Arabic robe, but without a headscarf, and a pendant that looked like a triangular eye with a vertical line in the middle of the pupil hung on his chest. Anduin recognized that it was the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.
"Martin, the representatives from England are here, a total of seven people, arrange the rooms," Bones greeted familiarly.
The pub owner, Martin, looked at Bones coldly, "Why is there a dog? Are you trying to make this place even more chaotic? I don't accept animals here."
"Are you blind? I clearly saw the Ugandan representative over there with a black panther," Bianca retorted, pointing to the black panther next to a table, her tone unfriendly.
"It's you, how are you not dead after all these years." Martin rolled his eyes at Bianca with a dark face, "Besides, I think you're the one who's blind, didn't you notice that the black panther is an Animagus? I really wonder how someone with your level got to be a director in the Ministry of Magic."
"Alright, alright." Bones immediately tried to smooth things over when he saw that Bianca was about to explode from Martin's words, "Martin, please be accommodating. Aren't many wizards bringing owls? A dog isn't a big problem."
"Owls don't poop and pee on my carpet, can this dog do that? Besides, I don't provide dog food here." Martin seemed to have a mouthful of gunpowder, with no friendly expression towards anyone.
"This… Mr. Martin, my dog promises not to cause you any trouble, I can guarantee it, and I can take care of the food myself," Anduin immediately stepped forward to persuade him, he didn't want to ruin his relationship with the owner since he would be staying here for several days.
"My name is Grenville, you should call me Mr. Grenville." Martin corrected Anduin's slip of the tongue with an unfriendly tone, "You said it yourself, if this dog dares to damage anything in my room, you will have to pay three times the compensation, and in Galleons."
"No problem, everything will be as you say." Anduin agreed immediately, with the thought of better safe than sorry.
"Okay, here are the keys to three rooms, two of which are suites that can accommodate three people, you can arrange them yourselves." Martin didn't waste any words after receiving Anduin's guarantee, and directly threw out three keys.
"Why have you become so mercenary after not seeing you for a few years? You've picked up a lot of bad habits after hanging out with Muggles." Bianca curled her lips in anger, but Martin just gave her a big eye roll, not even bothering to respond.
After receiving the keys, Bianca looked at the others, "You three ladies take one room, Anduin, you take one room, and the remaining room will be for me and you two."
The two alchemists, who had been like air the whole time, exchanged helpless glances. Staying with the leader was not good news.
After assigning the rooms, Bianca arranged, "The official Alchemical Conference is in two days, lasting for three days, and there will be a banquet organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Magic tomorrow night. I and Anduin have been invited, Anduin, remember to attend on time, you can do whatever you want the rest of the time."
After hearing Bianca's arrangement, Vanessa winked excitedly at Mavis and Aselia. Obviously, this trip to Egypt was a vacation for her. After all, they wouldn't be attending most occasions. She was probably already thinking about where to go play.
While going to their respective rooms, Bones followed and entered Anduin's room.
"Anduin, I didn't expect your alchemical attainments to be so strong after all these years. Although I'm in Egypt, I often see your papers being published. I heard that you even opened your own alchemical shop in Diagon Alley, and even the Ministry of Magic has become your customer, it's really amazing."
Although Anduin's room was only a single room, it was very spacious. Bones sat on the sofa and motioned for him to sit down, then sincerely praised him.
"This is all thanks to your guidance, Professor, otherwise I might not even know what alchemy is until now." Anduin took out a bottle of Firewhisky from his space ring and poured a glass for Bones himself.
