Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts

#53 - Little Harry and Little Neville

Sirius exchanged a glance with Anduin upon hearing that it was Dumbledore's suggestion, and they nodded to each other. It seemed this was Dumbledore's arrangement, and he must have already made preparations.

James Potter seemed very happy today, looking at Anduin beside him and laughing, "Merry Christmas, Anduin! I didn't expect to see you again so soon. I heard you saved Sirius. Lily and I were almost scared to death when we heard Sirius was in danger. Luckily, he met a little hero who came to his aid."

Frank Longbottom, who was standing next to him, also chimed in with a smile, "Yes, I was at the scene at the time. I heard that Anduin even defeated a Death Eater. Anduin, I don't know if you remember me, but in any case, Merry Christmas."

Sirius frowned upon hearing them mention this again. Ever since the Knockturn Alley chase, his group of mischievous friends had been making fun of him about it, and he was almost suffering from Little Wizard PTSD.

"Ahem, ahem," Sirius coughed twice, changing the subject, and said, "Look, I haven't even had a chance to introduce you. This is Anduin Wilson, who is currently a first-year student at Hogwarts."

Then he said to Anduin, "Let me introduce you. This tall guy is Remus Lupin, this fat guy is Peter Pettigrew, you've met James, and the other two are Frank and Alice Longbottom."

Anduin politely nodded to everyone, and they also politely greeted Anduin. At this moment, a middle-aged woman walked out of the kitchen, put her hands on her hips, and shouted at everyone aggressively, "Well, are you guys planning to eat Christmas dinner or not? Someone come in and help, or are you just going to let this old woman do everything?"

Upon seeing this, Frank Longbottom couldn't help but complain, "Mom, you're not even fifty yet, don't make yourself sound so old."

Augusta Longbottom, Frank's mother, glared at her son and said, "It's all because my son is such a worry."

Seeing this, Anduin stepped forward to smooth things over and said, "Mrs. Longbottom, you've worked hard. Let me help you."

Augusta saw Anduin take off his coat and neatly roll up his sleeves, and couldn't help but yell at her son again, "Look at him, even a child is more sensible than you."

Then she turned her head and said gently to Anduin, "Thank you, child, but let us adults prepare dinner, don't burn yourself later."

Frank Longbottom could only shrink his head when he heard his mother's roar, and stuck out his tongue awkwardly. Sirius, who was standing next to him, said to Augusta, "Mrs. Longbottom, don't underestimate Anduin. He's an excellent cook. I've been eating Anduin's food these past few days, and I feel like I've gained a lot of weight."

Augusta was surprised to hear Sirius say this, and took a look at Anduin. Then, without hesitating, she led Anduin into the kitchen.

Only Lily was busy in the kitchen. After Anduin put on an apron, he began to skillfully process the ingredients. Augusta couldn't help but admire, "I didn't expect you to be so sensible at such a young age, you even know how to cook."

Anduin smiled modestly and replied while keeping his hands moving, "I've been an orphan since I was a child, so I had to learn to take care of myself."

Augusta felt sorry for Anduin when she heard this, and touched his head, saying, "Poor child, you must have suffered a lot. It's a pity you weren't born into our family, otherwise we definitely wouldn't have let you suffer."

Anduin was very touched to see Augusta suddenly overflowing with maternal love, and said to Augusta, "Mrs. Longbottom, thank you for your kindness. Your son is also a brave man, I believe you will all be happy."

Augusta smiled with relief. Although she was strict with her son every day, Frank had always been the pride in her heart.

Anduin seemed to have thought of something, and turned to Lily and said, "Lily, did Dumbledore tell you about that matter?"

Lily understood what he meant when she heard Anduin say this, and replied, "Yes, we all received the warning. James and I have been reinforcing our residence with protective magic these past few days, and I believe Professor Dumbledore must have made some arrangements. I heard that you gave us the warning this time, I haven't had a chance to thank you properly yet."

Augusta also smiled proudly and said, "Dumbledore is still very trustworthy. If those Death Eaters value their lives, they better not appear before us."

Anduin felt relieved when he heard them say this. He had always had a suspicion in his heart, that someone in the Order of the Phoenix might be providing information to the Death Eaters. If nothing happened today, it was very likely that someone had tipped off the Death Eaters and made them cancel their operation, so today might really be peaceful.

After having a certain idea in his mind, Anduin stopped worrying and helped out in the kitchen with peace of mind. He also made two dishes with the kitchen ingredients, a Western-style creamy mushroom soup and a spicy tuna cake. Augusta's eyes lit up after tasting them, and she looked at Anduin with increasing affection.

When the preparations were almost done, Anduin left the kitchen first. The people in the living room were gathered in a pile, watching two little babies crawling on the ground.

Anduin also joined in, but he couldn't tell who was who. A group of evil adults put them on the carpet, trying to get the two children to try racing, or rather, crawling, but the two young wizards didn't give them any face at all. One crawled two steps and then sat up to suck on his hand, the other went left for a while and right for a while, and finally crawled back.

One of them is Harry, who defeated Voldemort. When he was a child, he didn't seem to be anything special. Anduin still couldn't remember the other content of the original "Harry Potter" story, and didn't even know if his appearance would save Lily from Voldemort's clutches. If possible, Anduin really wanted to save the Potter family from tragedy, but he didn't know exactly how to do it. Was it because he accidentally gave Voldemort a chance to attack? Or was there some other reason? Anduin suddenly had the idea of learning memory magic, of course, the premise was that learning memory magic could deepen his memories of his previous life, so that he wouldn't slowly forget them.

But in this life, after he finished reading Grimms' Fairy Tales, he realized that he seemed to have read them in his previous life. Not to mention the original "Harry Potter" story, which he only had some impressions of. And Anduin also discovered that as he stayed in this world longer and longer, many memories of his previous life were slowly fading. So Anduin had written many diaries in Chinese characters when he was in the orphanage, including many boxing manuals, recipes, etc., but there were no records of film and television works at all.
