Mastering Lightning from Hogwarts

#685 - Wake up (ask for monthly ticket recommendation ticket)

"Just some toys someone made." Tonks rolled her eyes, but honestly introduced them to the two.

"These metal puppets were originally just a medium for carrying Transfiguration spells, a type of semi-alchemical product, previously belonging to a wizard called 'Black Dragon'."

Tonks recalled something, explaining to everyone, "Later, this Black Dragon was cruelly killed by someone with a nasty personality, and these puppets were taken over and modified by the other party, made into remotely controlled magical constructs."

"These magical constructs have a variety of functions, the specifics of which I'm not too clear on. Their spellcasting behavior is actually simulated, and the spells they can use all depend on what runes the creator imbued them with."

"And as far as I know, there are actually many types of magical constructs. This is just the 'Steel Construct', which is considered a more powerful combat type. If I hadn't been clear about its weaknesses, I probably wouldn't have been able to deal with it so quickly."

"You seem very familiar with this... Steel Construct?" Percy paused. "Do you know who's controlling them? Who on earth is the culprit who invaded Hogwarts?"

"You'll find out in a moment." Tonks now roughly realized what Anduin wanted to do, so she didn't want to expose it. She had been wondering why the command only sent them, the interns, over. It turned out this was the idea.

After hearing Tonks' words, Percy and Gemma exchanged puzzled glances, while also feeling strange. If these Steel Constructs were so strong, why didn't they launch a full-scale attack on them from the start?

If these magical constructs relied on their powerful bodies, Gemma and Percy, who didn't know their weaknesses, might not have been able to stop them.

But regardless, they were finally safe. Then, a group of young wizards followed behind Tonks, advancing towards the main castle.

On the way, the group also encountered a few scattered young wizards hiding in corners of the school, having escaped the pursuit of those constructs.

At this time, Gemma and Percy showed the responsibility expected of prefects. They gathered all the straggling young wizards, carefully checking their injuries.

While passing the Astronomy Tower, the group encountered another group of Aurors. After understanding the situation, they learned that a battle had also broken out at the Astronomy Tower. The three Aurors on the scene, with the help of tactical equipment, had already taken care of 4 constructs, but one of the intern Aurors had suffered a serious injury.

After a brief exchange, they decided to leave one Auror on the scene to take care of the injured, while the remaining Auror led the young wizards rescued from here to join Tonks and the others, advancing towards the main castle together.

On the other side, Harry, who had been unconscious for a long time, felt someone nudging him and woke up with a start after a moment.

When he opened his eyes, he saw that it was Hermione who had woken him up.

"Hermione, I'm so hungry..." Harry mumbled uncomfortably, feeling his rumbling stomach.

Why was he so hungry? Right, they had just finished class and were preparing to go to the Great Hall for lunch.

Then...

Then black wizards appeared!

Harry then gradually recalled everything that had happened before, and then sat up straight with a 'whoosh', touching his body with a look of horror. After finding that nothing was missing, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he looked anxiously at Hermione, "Did we just fight a group of black wizards? Weren't we all killed?"

"Yes, even you were killed. Don't you think you're still alive?" Hermione rolled her eyes, annoyed that Harry's first words after getting up were cursing himself.

Harry then saw clearly the environment he was in. This was a fairly large room, and upon closer inspection, he recognized it as the Transfiguration classroom.

And now this classroom was full of people, mostly the companions who had been knocked down in the attack before, and of course, there were others. Harry had originally thought that these classmates had all sacrificed themselves, but he didn't expect that they had just been stunned.

Some of these people were still unconscious, lying quietly on the ground.

But many people had already woken up, such as Hermione, as well as Neville, Ron, Malfoy, and Daphne, who had fought side by side before, and the Weasley twins, who had not been together earlier.

"What exactly is going on?" Harry touched his still dizzy head. "I remember those three black wizards knocked us all down? How could we be in the Transfiguration classroom now?"

"We don't know either." Ron, who had also woken up, scooted towards Harry. "Everyone found themselves here when they woke up. I just woke up a moment ago. Neville was the first to wake up, and he doesn't know what happened either."

"Now that we're awake, and those black wizards aren't guarding us, does that mean we're safe? Can we go out and ask for help?" Malfoy scratched his head in a daze, obviously having just woken up not long ago.

"No." Hermione frowned and sighed. "The doors here are completely locked, and our wands have been taken away. We can't get out at all."

"Ah?" Malfoy was shocked when he heard this, then rummaged through his body in a panic, and then said with a mournful face, "It's over, not only my wand, but even my Wind Wand has been taken away..."

"What time is it, and you're still thinking about your fairy wand?" Ron glanced at the unpromising Malfoy with disgust, then asked with some worry, "Then what should we do next? Do those black wizards have some plot to lock us up here?"

"We can only take it one step at a time now. I can't think of any way." Hermione slumped down on the ground, burying half of her face in her knees. She truly experienced what it means to be helpless today. She is no longer as confident as she used to be.

Harry saw Hermione's disappointment and quickly comforted her, "It's not your fault that this happened, Hermione. You've tried your best. Those black wizards are much stronger than we imagined, and we can't deal with them at all right now."

Hearing Harry's consolation, Hermione still mumbled disappointedly, "But if it weren't for my bad idea, everyone might not have fallen so quickly."

"Don't think of yourself as so important. If we were just focused on running, we might be in a worse situation." Malfoy, who was always at odds with Harry's group, didn't know if he was mocking or comforting, "But you do have self-awareness. If there's a next time, it's better to let me command."

"You..." Hermione glared at the other party dissatisfied, but the feeling of self-blame and disappointment faded a lot. "Okay, if there's a next time."

Seeing that Hermione's state had recovered a bit, Harry looked around again, and then found the Weasley twins not far away, "George, Fred!"

"Harry, it's so good to see you're okay!" George and Fred also saw the group and quickly came over through the crowd.

"Did you also encounter those black-robed wizards?" Ron obviously relaxed a little after seeing these two older brothers.

"That's right, we were blocked by two black wizards in the owlery before. The situation at that time was really terrifying. Those guys didn't say anything and just cast spells on us when they met." George's face was a little pale at this time, and he panted twice.

"But our strength is not a joke." Fred was in slightly better condition and even had the mood to tease, "George and I fought with those two black wizards for a long time, but in the end, one guy actually didn't talk about martial ethics and rushed up and kicked George down with one foot. I was also stunned by a Stunner after a stalemate for a while."

"Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out the true faces of these bastards in the end, but they actually dared to lock us back in the castle. I believe Professor Wilson and Headmaster Dumbledore will rescue us soon." George was relatively optimistic about the current situation.

"I saw the appearance of those black wizards!" Hermione suddenly interjected at this time, "They are not human!"

"Yes, those bastards are really not human, they actually dared to invade Hogwarts in broad daylight." Fred thought Hermione was cursing people and immediately echoed.

"No, that's not what Hermione meant." Harry shook his head. "Those invaders are not human, the black robes are harder than iron, oh no, they are iron themselves!"

"They are not human, their bodies are made of steel?" George glanced at Fred in surprise when he heard this. "How is that possible, they can obviously cast spells! Unless..."

"Unless they are alchemical constructs!" Neville, who had been silent, suddenly spoke. "I fainted earlier, but listening to you, those invaders seem to be a kind of alchemical puppet. I seem to have heard Uncle Wilson mention it before."

"Alchemical puppets? Could it be said..." Hermione finally reacted at this time, "This invasion of Hogwarts is actually... Professor Wilson did it?"

"Why would he do this?" Ron looked at Hermione with a sense of absurdity.

"No, there is really this possibility!" George breathed a sigh of relief. "Maybe this is not a black wizard invasion at all, and it's similar to the previous surprise inspection. Have you forgotten what we experienced in the past month?"

"Hiss..."

George's reminder made everyone suddenly wake up as if enlightened. Yes, that professor seems to like doing this kind of scary thing, but they really can't imagine that the other party would make such a big move.

This is an attack on Hogwarts!

"Then... according to what you said, are we safe?" Ron suddenly reacted.
