Monarch Of Darkness, Arsene

1084 Call to Tiamat

Resting near the little brat as he screamed and thrashed around by ramming his head over the ground and stone he found, I merely watched with a curious eye. That is, until my mind trailed off.

I wonder what Tia is doing? I've not seen her till she awakened my Forsaken heritage. Now that I think about it. How did she get her hands on my blood? So many questions. Not to mention we got a brat together.

What was his name again, Z— something. Damnit. I forgot. How do you forget your son's name? No, that's not on me. That's on Tia and Zariel. Literally. The moment he told me I was his brother, he could have said I had a child…. Although I probably wouldn't care. Do I care? Man, I want a blueberry pie.

Can Tia cook? And how are Tia and Lilith supposed to get along? If Lilith kills her, then I'll have to kill my son. And just like that, we got a family war. Damn.

Scratching my head as a headache began to stab into my mind, a bitter sigh rippled from my lips.

"AHHHHH!!!~"

"Can you shut up? I've got drama to figure out." I snapped, glaring daggers at Adrian. "It's just a little pain. Suck it up."

Glaring at the little shit, slowly being covered in thorns of black lightning crackling over his flesh. Searing Adrian's body with a delicious crust, my stomach rumbled.

"Now I'm stressed and hungry. Is this what having kids feel like?" I moaned and approached the feral child.

Using my authority, I transferred the backlash from Adrian to me and smirked at the little pinch tickling my flesh.

"Gods, you are so weak. Cultivate boy. Recover. You've got a day. Because tomorrow we will be at war." Snorting at the little shit, convulsing with a smoldering body, I sat beside him and clasped my hands together.

"Tia… Darling… you up there? Of course, your up there. It is I, Arsene. The Father of the First Dragon." I said, almost gloatingly.

I didn't really know if Tiamat was the first dragon, but she was either the progenitor of dragons or the first dragon to be created from the progenitor. She never told me much when we were together.

But my god, she was a wild one.

"I met our son. Not sure if you know. The little shit got some balls. And he got the looks. Not bad. You cooked him right."

Waiting no more till the sun had set over the horizon, Tiamat's soft voice, far in contrast to her wild self, echoed back. " Has he challenged you yet?"

I smiled, "He has, but when I'm stronger. He's naive."

Almost envisioning the foxy smile over that queen, I chuckled. " Well, Arsene. You were the one to die. You didn't have a chance to raise him."

"I died protecting my brother and his wife. Not a bad way to go out. Not to mention Aldrich is dead."

"Him? I wonder who the naive one is then." Tia uttered with a challenge in her tone. " He was on the precipice of Chaos Lord last we met. Closer than anyone. And might have become one himself. I don't know. Do you really think he's truly dead?"

"I do." I coldly said. " I saw the core of his soul disintegrate before my very eyes. Aldrich is dead. That's a fact."

"I've seen many resurrect Arsene. Did you know there are two types of resurrections for people at our level? You can either do it yourself, using an Array of Daos and so on. Or you can do it by prophecy, using external help, through schemes. All it takes is a sliver of will in the universe. I learned long ago that death is but an illusion to those who've become Paragons and Chaos Lords."

Folding my legs over one another and starting a fire to ensure Adrian doesn't die to the icy winds of all things. I shrugged toward Tiamat's rebuttal. " He gave me his legacy, his pride, and joy. The man looked forward to joining his dead wife. He's dead. And—"

"It might not be his choice to return. It… wasn't your choice either, was it." She proclaimed, halting my words.

Damn. I didn't think of that. But who and why? I guess it wouldn't matter; By the time he returns. If he returns, I'll be all-powerful.

"Let's put him aside for now. Tia… my darling killer. When are you returning to Iluthath? Laws are changing, and a new game is about to commence."

"Mephisto is leading the charge, isn't he."

"Either he leads it or causes it." I mused.

"I hate that bastard." Tia dryly remarked. "But are you sure? I hear you are married to a crazy one."

Chuckling deeply, recalling the wild Tiamat, I nodded with confidence. " I do. But I'm sure you can handle her. After all, you were the one to handle me."

"SO YOU ADMIT IT!!!"

"Yeah-Yeah! I'll admit it. But in my defense, you didn't seem— That wild. My god, you were trying to down me and Zariel."

"And I was successful on both points. Zariel was hard, though. The man doesn't have a mind for sex at all."

"I remember. Zariel was so angry, he— Well, that's ancient history. So? Will you descend? I need someone to lead Vaevictis in the Order of Chaos. I want you to be my First General."

There was a long pause, leaving only the crackling of firewood and the painful moans of Adrian to echo. Winds howling over the firewood, releasing embers to flutter the night sky. I waited.

"I want my own base of operations within the Order."

The smile on my lips deepened into a demonic arc. " If there is an Earth on the other side. We'll make that our main base of operations. I'll give you any country when we are done terraforming to you."

"And if there isn't none?"

"Then I'll make a damn Earth," I replied. "I've never made a realm like how Mephisto created the lower realms. But it should be within my power."

"And Zaid, your son?"

"Bring the brat down with you. I have plans for that boy on the other side. For now, all he needs to do is descend. And if you can… tell Hades and Nyx. It never hurts to have allies in a realm of the unknown."
