Monster Hunter:Hunter's Notes

Chapter 115 Anshir's Plan

Chapter 115 Ancier’s plan

Gordon came back to his senses and tried his best to wave his hands and shouted, asking Ancil to run quickly.

Anhil, who usually behaved like a reserved and elegant young man, almost went crazy. He threw away his arms and legs and ran faster than anyone else. He also looked back from time to time to confirm the distance between General Kamakura and himself.

Even though three legs were broken, General Sickle still had more legs than Ancil, so the distance between them shortened sharply, which was a force majeure.

Ancier knew that the general's endurance was average and such a charge would not last long, but looking at the momentum of this guy, he should be caught up and run over before it exhausted its strength.

So flying to dodge became the only option.

The strong wind stirred up by the dragon skull blew at the back of his neck, and a faint fishy smell penetrated his nostrils. In the corner of his eye, a huge shadow had already shrouded his back.

This is the best and last time!

Anhil used his sharp weapon and flew to one side with all his strength. He could almost feel the thorns on the General's sickle crab's carapace scraping against the soles of his shoes.

He landed hard, and the uneven rocky ground hurt his ribs. The heavy ore crystal nova behind him gave him another heavy blow. Anhil felt that the air in his chest had been squeezed out.

But he was still very happy. Compared to being strung on the horn of the dragon skull, these small bumps were nothing. Although he was a little embarrassed, at least he survived, right?

Anhil exerted force on his waist and abdomen and jumped up from the ground.

Since it failed to kill me, it's my turn to fight back!

Anhil gritted his teeth and unfolded his heavy crossbow, preparing to give General Sickle a shuttle as a return gift. However, he was shocked to find that General Sickle, who had stopped charging, had no intention of turning around and fighting again, but limped forward.

Drilled into the entrance of a cave.

Ran

Anhil couldn't help but sit down on the ground and took a long breath.

After nearly an hour of continuous high-intensity fighting, he was already very tired. Now that General Kamakura had retreated, he could finally take a good rest.

Gordon rushed over at a trot. He threw a water bag to Ancil, glanced at the latter's messy armor and wounds on his body, and said with a smile: "How are you, young master, do you enjoy being educated by General Sickle?

"

An Xil glanced at him sideways, ignored him, drank half the bag of water in one breath, and wiped his mouth with his sleeve.

"Huh? Where's the handkerchief you never leave?" Gordon teased, pretending to be surprised.

"Lost it!" Anxier said angrily.

After a brief silence, the two of them laughed like crazy, causing the pork chop who came closer to have a puzzled face.

"How's your injury? Do you need to go back to the camp to take a good rest?" Gordon stretched out his hand and pulled Ancier up from sitting on the ground.

"No need!" Anhil patted the dusty clothes and pants, "They are just minor injuries. They will be fine after drinking the recovery medicine. That guy is already at the end of his strength, so let's pursue the victory."

"That's fine, I brought a paralysis trap and I can consider capturing it."

"Okay, I didn't bring the tranquilizer bombs for capture. Did you bring them?"

"Uh." Gordon scratched his chin awkwardly, "I don't think I brought one either."

Ansil & Pork Chop: "."

Noticing the looks in Ancil and Pork Chop's eyes as if they were fools, Gordon quickly made up for it: "You can use the paralysis trap to control that guy without the tranquilizer bombs. Look, I'll give it two hard blows with the Charged Slash!"

"

"Huh?" Anxier suddenly narrowed his eyes.

After re-checking the number of various types of magazines on the armed belt, he said in a mysterious tone: "Perhaps, we can change the method and give it the final blow."

In the dark underground cave, General Sickle limped along.

A broken leg is an irreversible injury to ordinary creatures and even most types of monsters, but when it comes to crustaceans, this conclusion does not apply.

As long as it is given a good rest for a few days, the broken legs will all grow back.

The cave it is currently in is located deep underground, far away from the lava channels, and is relatively cool and humid.

This is its favorite habitat. The ground is covered with bones that have been cut into pieces. Over time, ordinary creatures dare not approach this place.

However, what it didn't notice was that a small figure had sneaked in quietly.

Pork Chop walked cautiously on the ground, and the fleshy balls on the soles of its feet eliminated all movement. Even the general sickle crab with a keen sense of vibration could not detect its footsteps.

But it did not touch the position that was too close to General Sickle. Instead, it opened its pair of shimmering cat eyes, carefully looked at the topography of the cave, and then quietly retreated out.

Gordon and Ancil were squatting wretchedly at the entrance of the passage outside the cave, waiting for Pork Chops to return.

"The cave is not big, meow! There is no lava lake, the ground is full of pits, and there are a lot of bones, meow! It stinks, meow!" Pork Chop, who returned to Gordon, kept scratching his nose.

Gordon touched Pork Chop's head, and Ancil asked eagerly: "Where is the top of the cave? Are there stalactites on the top of the cave?"

"Yes, meow! There are so many big stalactites, meow! I'm afraid they will fall down and kill us, meow!" said Pig Chop, nodding his little head.

Anxier clenched his fists hard, looking quite excited.

Gordon gave him a strange look, "Is this what you said, you plan to take down the stalactite and smash it?"

"Yes." Anhil nodded in agreement.

"Well, I thought it would be some more powerful-sounding plan."

"The simpler the plan, the better it will be executed. What do you think?"

"Such as leading it to a lava lake, trying to make it fall in, burn it to death, or something like that?"

".Is there any substantial difference?"

"Okay, there really is no difference." Gordon touched his nose and motioned for Ancil to elaborate.

"The plan has two key points. One is to lure the General Sickle Crab under the stalactite and control it with a paralysis trap. The other is to blow up the stalactite and use the force of the stalactite to kill it."

"It doesn't sound complicated. I can be the bait." Gordon volunteered.

"Okay, then let's do this." Anhil pointed to the topographic map of the cave drawn out by the pig's claws on the ground: "Gordon will be the first to enter, attracting the attention of General Sickle. If it falls asleep, he will

Give it a Sleeping Slash and cut off its legs to increase the success rate of subsequent plans."

"OK."

"Pork Chop and I will follow closely, Pork Chop, you know how to use the paralysis trap, right?" Ancil looked at Pork Chop.

"I'm going to meow!"

"Then we will hand over the paralysis trap to you. You can just set it right under the stalactite. After Pork Chop has placed the trap, I will give a signal. Gordon, you can quickly move General Sickle to the trap.

After the general sickle crab steps on the trap, you can just run as fast as you can out of the cave, and leave the rest to me."

"Are you sure you can blow up the stalactites?" Gordon seemed hesitant.

"Of course." Ancier nodded seriously, "The structure of stalactites is not dense, and ordinary crossbow bombs may explode continuously, but lv3 armor-piercing grenades will definitely work.

Among the ammunition supplies you brought me, there are three magazines of level 3 armor-piercing grenades, which are powerful enough."

"Is there a backup plan?" Gordon asked out of caution.

Ancil showed his teeth in the manner that Gordon was used to, "Yes, if the plan fails, we will kill it with swords and crossbows!"
